Starbucks

I’ve been here a few times and have had a decent experience. Today, however, the store was filled with messes and very rude, unfriendly employees. The barista named Ziggy was incredibly rude to me, answering my question with complete sarcasm. I originally ordered iced coffee, and then asked for a refill of tea. Having been told by a STARBUCKS BARISTA months ago that I was allowed to do this, I have been getting different refills at every Starbucks location I visit (and never once have I had a problem doing so). When I asked the cashier if I could have a refill of tea, he said «no.» And when I asked if it was just this location, he said «no, no one is allowed to do that.» So I politely responded, «oh how odd, every other location I visit has let me!» Then, Ziggy proceeds to chime in and says, «If I had a nickel for every time I heard that!» I was utterly appalled that a Starbucks barista would talk to a customer like that, and I hope that she is talked to by the manager for her foul and poor behavior and customer service.

Closed 30 minutes early. Bullshit. All I wanted was two Starbucks drinks and I think it’s pathetic that I drove to the only Starbucks that says it open until 10pm. Which is 30 minutes from my house. Sorry for my profanity but the employee said they were closed and continued to sit inside.

I cringe every time I want Starbucks and have to come here! CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING NEEDED!!! The barista ‘Ziggy’, if that’s even her real name, is extremely rude and always seems to be pissed at the world. There is no welcoming feeling at this location and everyone behind the counter seems MEH, whether making drinks, making food or taking your money behind the register for over-​inflated coffee.

I have been coming to this location almost every morning since 2002, when it was Dietrich’s Coffee.
This is a crazy busy Starbucks and I generally have no complaints. However, when I use the mobile order app. I don’t want to stand around for 5 minutes for the staff to acknowledge my presence and give me a cold coffee.
Often times there will be several customers waiting for their drinks that a literary an arms reach away, but the staff is too busy to even acknowledge them or give them their drinks.
The mobile app is meant to be a convenience to the customer, not an inconvenience to the staff.

My wife is a regular here and raves abut the service. She mobile orders our drinks and food and I walk in to pick up the items. I let the Asian female barista know that I have a mobile order and give her my wife’s name. She throws a bag of bagel and cream cheese on the counter and says «I got it» as she walks away. I was a little surprised at how she was an absolute BITCH about it. Granted it was a little busy so I patiently waited at the counter for my other items. Few minutes passed by and I see her standing there wiping equipment down not bothering to ask if I had anything else. I didn’t want to ask her so I asked the red headed female barista if the rest of my order was ready. Low and behold, the complete order was sitting there all along! The bitchy Asian female barista then claimed she was sorry. I couldn’t help but leave the place in a bad mood for my long commute to LA. My wife claims she’s probably new because she’s never seen her there before. Thank you bitchy Asian female barista.

I’ve been here a few times. The last two times I didn’t get the best service. Unfortunately, I got the same cashier both times. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Thinking maybe the first time, she was just having a bad day. Nope! wasn’t friendly, bad attitude and even threw my bagel I order. Rude! This place is always packed and I appreciate the fast service. However, it is small and tight. And it’s down the street from my house so, it’s convenient in that sense. I would return but for sure will order from someone diff than from K-​e.

I go to this starbucks every morning before work. They are the best starbucks in the area. Super fast service. Kind employees and they always try to remember people by name. I enjoy going to thus starbucks for there cleanliness and kindness to their customers is top notch:)

This is an extremely social Starbucks. The conversations here are polite and mellow. Everyone seems generally interested in sharing and listening to each other’s stories, ideas, comments and questions Starting up a conversation at this location (if that is what you want to do) is not a difficult thing, as it can be in other settings. Throughout my visit I heard phrases like it was so nice to meet you «and «your name again?» People greeting each other and saying goodbye with an added wish of have a wonderful day. Let’s face it people do not seem to want to stop and just talk and meet new people. I get it, we are all busy beavers, doing important things, or at least acting like we are but it’s nice to just stop and talk. No one is trying to pick up on the other or dropping a phone number, just enjoying time spent meeting someone new and exchanging conversation; that’s refreshing. Which I have to mention that the men here are gentlemen in the way they speak to you and carry themselves. As are most of the consumers. I even heard a few men walk in the door greeting the staff. The staff are impressive. They are pleasant and professional. They make good eye contact, their words are unrushed and their tone is respectful and seemingly genuine. The place is clean and inviting but again there is not much sitting room, though they do have a nice space in front and around the building to sit and relax. This Starbucks; at least at this hour is full of middle aged and older business professionals, with a few younger adults sprinkled in the mix. I like it here as I do most Starbucks.
A side note:
Since I am a psych major and have discovered a particular interest in professionalism and nonverbal communication; mine and others, I’ve found that this Starbucks is a great place to observe and interact with others while I bring to mind some of the things I have been learning. If anyone is shy and trying to get out of their shell and talk to people this is the place to do it. You don’t have to sit to long before someone strikes up a conversation with you, if you let them
and I say let them. Go on and have fun just talking

Community local hangout spot… Clean and friendly service! Long lines sometimes and limited seating.

This location is always busy, but their service is fast. They make pretty good drinks, and is always consistent. Love the new order from app option. I can order from the Starbucks on my app, go in 5 minutes later, and my drink is ready and waiting for me to pickup.

Ok. Im a manager at a coffee shop. This store is my home on my days off. Matt is Amazing. He rememered my name and drink. Thank you for the great attitude and service. The whloe store rocks

Always a pleasurable experience. Quick service with a smile. Thanks guys. The line is always short and very quick to get through.

I come here daily during the lunch hour and sometimes in the morning and the staff here is awesome! They’re friendly and the service is fast!

This is my hometown Starbucks. I go everyday. Some of the faces have changed but the service is good and the coffee is caffeinated. Love the people and the vibe. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.

This location is awesome, each morning I walk in half awake and the guys know my name and my drink. I’m so bad that I yet to remember their names.
They are also very attentative when I have my 2 boxers on the weekends as they know that these 2 are Starbucks junkies too. They must have their pupachinos or I’m not allowed back in the car.
Sometimes without even asking, the pupachinos are already made. This is truly amazing service. (Liberty and Inde love you guys).
Maybe tomorrow if I’m more than ½ awake I’ll try to get some names.

Thank god for new management. This place used to be a dull moment in my morning to come get my coffee and wait forever just for a mediocre cup of coffee made with a frown. Lately, my coffee has been fast and friendly, and the bathroom has been way cleaner for my morning poop, along with the rest of the store. Good on you Starbucks for making a change. Keep it up!

This Starbucks frustrates me because every time I come in the morning I get great service… but every time I come in the late afternoon/​evening I’ve been disappointed. The morning staff has been amazing every time I’ve come in, which is quite a lot.
My most recent evening visit was the most disappointing… I ordered a frappucino and a panini, and the frappucino was ready right away and was made perfectly, but I stood and waited over fifteen minutes for the panini to be heated up. I finally got back into the line and asked the cashier about it and she went over to the heater and grabbed my now-​cold panini from on top of it and thrust it into my hands without even looking at me or offering an apology. It was so unprofessional and I couldn’t believe she didn’t even apologize for forgetting my sandwich.
Props to the morning staff for being excellent, but the evening staff could really learn a thing or two about customer service.

I’m only rating this five stars because the staff was so friendly. I didn’t buy anything (this was my 3^rd Starbucks trip of the day) but I asked for a cup of water and Sophie gave me a large 16oz cup! I appreciate it Sophie.

Nice location, easy to get to when We needed to and the baristas are happy to listen to what we needed. One young fella asked me if I was from the East Coast, because i asked for Skim milk over Fat Free. *chuckles* I used to live here in the OC, but now I just visit on occasion.
They’re happy to customise the drinks for you, so that’s good. I like mine at 140* vs the 160 that most heat up to, which makes it easier for me to drink. I just HATE having to let them cool.
