Juice It Up!

First time at this location. Quick and friendly service! Tasty smoothies. Two young men working who were accommodating and courteous. If I lived nearby, we’d be regulars!

Went here about 2 months ago. Ordered a «zone» smoothie which is basically a protein shake with some peanut butter and bananas in it. The young kid paid very little attention to what he was doing, and was yacking away (talking alot) with his Co — worker. Meanwhile he is shoveling in about a truck load of peanut butter into the smoothie. By the time he’s done, he puts the smoothie on the counter and says «It looks like Sh#t, but it tastes good!» This smoothie was so thick you could use it like concrete. Last time I will ever go there!

I rarely go to Juice it up but today I got a coupon so I figured id give them another chance. Upon entering, the cashier stared past me so I guess that was my cue to say hello and tell her my order. Unprofessional but I guess thats what you get. She took our order with several sighs, eye rolls and dirty looks because we had a couple of mixups due to her lack of knowledge about the products and prices. Finally after getting our order she immediately helps the next customer in line, her friend. They laughed at my mom and I and looked us up and down. Worst customer service and really they were the ones to be laughed at. Uneducated children but I guess thats why she works at Juice it up. I didn’t get her name but she had brown long hair and caked mascara. Worst customer service.

Hooray, I’m glad I gave this store another chance — my walking partners and I were in recently and there were two employees working! They were both very pleasant and efficient; the smoothies were delicious. It looked like they had more blenders again so the line went quickly. My friend thought the employees handled her picky order with a good attitude… they weren’t wearing name tags but she asked their names. Renee and KC took great care of us and even suggested some new ideas since the menu looked different than we remembered. My last review wasn’t favorable, so I wanted to be sure to update this much more pleasant experience! We’ll be back!

love juice it up! (: always refreshing and the perfect pick me up early afternoon to hold you over if having an early dinner. great location and friendly employees. i highly recommend the evergreen smoothie. (:

i haven’t been here during rush hour before and it has usually been pretty empty all the times i’ve been here before (around 3−5pm) and it’s 12:30 and there’s one employee and 14 customers here. they got the whole order of customers messed up

Love the service, their staff is very knowledgeable. Their drinks are so good. I got the raw fusion juice as suggested by one of the employees and I was not disappointed. I would defiantly come back.

While I love this place, and I come here often, it lacks one major thing, consistency. Because they’re so many different employees with a large turnaround rate, it always seems that nobody can ever make the same drink twice. Other than that, I highly recommend you set up, when it is done right it’s always very tasty.

The smoothies are always good. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been in. The décor/​set up has changed a bit. I like it. My biggest problem is how dirty the place is. The counter on the outside is filthy. Where cups are stacked is covered in dust. There’s were marks on everything metal. The area where cookies are kept at the desk actually had a hair in it. That happens, I get it. BUT if the place was kept clean then it wouldn’t have still been there. Not sure about coming back. The service was great and maybe I’ll try again.

This location is newly remodeled and well organized. I know it’s been here for a while so it’s probably just well maintained. Got the Raw Fusion and a couple of power or protein bars, they seem to have a lot of those all over the place. Perfect meal when you are hungry but don’t wan to eat too much. Or just have something to eat quick to push your next meal farther.

I find myself going here way to often. I have become addicted to the passion delight smoothie that is seriously amazing !! There are two young girls in particular who are friendly and make a point of saying hello and smiling when you come on, However I would not say that about the rest. I have worked in customer service for 15 years, it really says a lot when you are greeted and acknowledged when you walk in a place.

This Juice It Up has very poor employees! I had to tell them numerous times how I wanted my açai bowl and they did it completely wrong! The employees should be more qualified and should pay more attention on what the customers want! Just came back from the store had a horrible experience! I’m definitely not going back there anymore!

I’ve been here many times over the course of the past two years. They used to do a pretty good job, but the last 3 visits left me really disappointed.
Tonight, I ordered a smoothie, juice, and acai bowl. The juice was not blended very well. My daughter said the smoothie was ok. But the acai bowl was pretty gross. They topped it with mushy frozen strawberries. Apparently they don’t have fresh ones which is usually a pre-​req for an acai bowl?
The service was lacking. Waited over 10 minutes. And then when I asked for a carrier for the 2 drinks & bowl they said they were out. I noticed some sitting on top of the fridge and asked for one, and they said they are for catering only. Hmmm. So my 3 orders with only two hands to carry didn’t count towards qualifying because I didn’t make a cater order? What if I had ordered a fourth item for my family?
Bummer. I still gave 2 stars because it hasn’t always been bad. Hopefully someone will see this review, take it as a reality check, and turn this place around to what it used to be. Until then my family & friends will be going to Nektar or Smoothie King.

I have visited a few times since writing this review, and giving 2 more stars for much improvement. Store has been cleaned up, and quality of drinks is much better. Thank you to the owner for sending a gift card as well.

This juice it up location is great they have some really good fruit smoothies. They also have different kind of Brazilian fruit bowls, I personally haven’t tried any of the bowls. I have seen a few people get them and they look good.
My personal favorite smoothies are the Razzle-​Dazzle, Strawberry Wave, and Banana Rama. I haven’t really tried other flavors because I’m afraid I won’t like them so that’s why I always try to stick with what I know! Unless Im feeling adventurous. This location is next to a Ralph’s grocery store, bagel place, and a cvs store in Aliso Viejo I think that’s maybe why the parking Lott is always full I find myself parking far away sometimes, no big deal with that, but when your running late for work in the morning it can be a little stressful trying to look for a spot to park! Even during lunch rush hour parking is hectic!
Most of the employees at this location look young. A while back maybe 6 months ago the service wasn’t really great the employes where not so friendly and always tried to rush me out ASAP. One time I went inside only one costumer was inside sitting down. and no one was in line but me. The two girl employees in the back by the fruit juicer where talking they completely ignored me, they knew I was waiting in line to be approached and attended because they both saw me walk in, I finally had to interrupt there conversation to be attended. I thought that was rude, but didn’t think much of it I brushed it off and went on with my day. Nowadays it’s different every time I come In I’m greeted and helped as soon as they are available, it’s a great change for them to be friendly to customers. All in all the smoothies are great, parking is not too fun and it’s an over all good place to go if your looking for a fast lunch smoothie or a morning smoothie/​bowl.

I had no idea this store was here and I go every weekend to the bagel place next door. I just never paid attention. I thought it was a sugary Juice place for kids, but it’s actually healthy and I have been looking for a place that does Wheat Grass shots, which they do! Lucky me, so close to home, they should advertise more. The kids were really nice, quick and courteous. The place was clean. Prices are reasonable. They offered me a card, so since I will be coming daily, at 6 am when they open, I took it! Thanks!

Like most of the other reviewers, kind of hit or miss with this location. The 2 gals that work in the mornings during the week are just awesome… they always remember my special order Evergreen smoothie. But I actually stopped coming here in the evenings and weekends cause the staff screws up my smoothie… maybe cause it’s a bunch of high school kids or maybe cause they can’t hear with the all the music blasting. 3 stars for the morning crew.

Based on the reviews, I came here expecting to see understaffed, smoked out HS kids, that could barley comprehend my order, and then take 30+ min to make the smoothie.
Yes, there was only 3 people working there, but the place is about the size of a living room, of an apartment, in LA. 3 seemed crowded already for that small space. Any more back there, it would be a rave. There was already a couple people waiting for drinks, but someone took my order right away, I gave them money, they gave me correct change… these must be the honors students.
After I ordered, the people before me got their drink, and I saw 1 of the 3 children in the back making my order (I ordered the Ultimate Acai Bowl)… when they were done, after a few minutes, they gave it to me…
Although when I tried to get a spoon though out of the spoon holder, if was filled with trash, the employee saw that, and said, «sorry, even though theres a sign on this that says ‘NOT A TRASH CAN’, people still think the spoon holder is a trash can.» And she got me a new spoon… maybe the customers are worse than the employees (things that make you go hrmm…)??
To me this place seems like every other «franchised» Juice/​Smoothie place I’ve been too. It probably doesn’t deserve 4 stars, but I’m trying to cheat the rating, since it doesn’t deserve the 2.5 it currently has. It’s like going to McDonalds and being like, «this place sucks, the quality of meat is not USDA Prime, and everyone working here seems like they work at McDonalds…»

Sorry to say, but the majority of reviewers are correct. This place seriously needs to start Juicing It Up or packing it up. I came last night after the gym and was not impressed. I usually like Juice It Up, but this location is a downer. I ordered the power pro and the workers really had no idea what they had. I ordered a 24oz and they kept trying to up-​sell me… and being the sucker that I am, I reluctantly said OK. They asked me what I wanted in it and I gave them the blank-​stare-​I-​dunno-​you-​make-​the-​smoothies-​not-​me look. Then I asked what whole fruit they had and they couldn’t tell me… probably because they ran out of most everything. Meanwhile, this guy next to me who was waiting patiently for his orange juice was just told they were out of oranges.
It’s way too musty and hot in there, the back of the store is in disarray, and it takes forever to get your smoothie here. It’s obviously a lack of organization. Juice It Up? Yes. This location? No.

My brother in law was craving their Acai smoothie so we came in. I ordered a small mango smoothie which tasted like lightly sweetened ice. Didn’t taste like mango at all.
Although there were only 3 people total in the store, it still took about 15 minutes for us to get our drinks. Looks like they are remodeling and there is a sign that they will soon have fresh juices.
I had a sip of my brother in laws drink and his was actually pretty good. Perhaps they ran out of mango for my order. My drink was ridiculous!
Will I come back? Absolutely not!

Came here because I was CRAVING jamba juice but there was not one close, so we found this place in a plaza and decided to give it a try! I must say i was pretty disappointed when I first walked in since their smoothie selection seemed limited but when i read through the descriptions they all sounded pretty good!
I ended up trying the Passion Punch and I must say I was impressed! it was really refreshing and tasted great! Prices are pretty on par with jamba juice and same goes for the sizes so it IS bit pricey for a smoothie (I think jamba juice is a bit high as well) but it was definitely worth trying!
What i thought was really cool about this place is that they have yogurt options as well, fruit bowls with granola and yogurt! pretty cool!
