I’ve had the peanut butter yogurt at Golden Spoon(the one in Costa Mesa) since I was kid, so it’s an acquired taste that’ll stay with me for life. It’s the only flavor I get, though oddly, not always available at this store. Still, a regular peanut butter(w/peanuts) can make most days happy ones. Glad to have this location so close to home.

Terrible customer service. Bought four large yogurts. One was filled much less than the others. Asked them to top it up to the others and the server said she doesn’t make mistakes and that was the end of it. Great way to treat the customer.

Golden Spoon whaaaaaaaaaat!!! Randomly came in because my lady wanted yogurt. My first thought was that this was a rip off of Yogurtland but damn it’s so much better! Khalil and Sam were so nice, upbeat, and cheery… on a Wednesday! who the hell is happy on a Wednesday? I definitely will come back because of the great yogurt, great location, and even more epically amazing people that work there. Sam and Khalil, you guys rock!

The best quality yogurt around. Hands down! This store is the cleanest of any yogurt store or food establishment I have eaten at. Try the cake batter with peanut butter cups, or graham cracker and pumpkin pie. I bought a couple of quarts of yogurt and a couple sides of toppings. Took it home and spread it out in a graham cracker and oreo pie crust. SERIOUSLYTHEBESTINVENTION! Fat-free frozen yogurt pie :)

I have to say I was a little disappointed when I ordered a couple of Quartz I asked that they clean them as well label them and here is what I went home with.

Their quality of yogurt is beyond any other local yogurt store. My personal favorite is the salted caramel. And the staff is always friendly!

I came here with my kiddos for dessert. The yogurt was a bit sweet for me,(of course they didn’t complain) and they didn’t have that many options of fruit toppings. I prefer my children choose fruit, but in this case, I couldn’t say anything as they didn’t have much to choose from. They are very stingy when serving your yogurt, considering the top price you pay for the small amount. If you don’t remember to tell them to stamp your card, they won’t remind you.

This is not a self serve. Which I think are better. Workers acted a little annoyed that I wanted to sample some flavors. Sorry a girl has to weigh her options before she commits? I ended up getting peanut butter cup with peanut butter on it. I’m a fan. But then again, can you go wrong with excess peanut butter?

My boyfriend and I have come to this location a few times since we live within walking distance. They don’t fill your cup up and they mix the ice cream/yogurt too much to where it gets too watery. You don’t get what you pay for. Kind of a rip off. We’ve been to the La jolla location a few times and they fill up your cup plus more for a bit less.

Old school foyo. So if UR looking for build your own then try yogurt land but you won’t be happy cause golden spoons quality is much better! Creamy and satisfying! Plus you can sample a bajillion before you pick and pay for the mini. :-) peanut butter cup hands down all the way. Everything else is good but pbc for the win.

They don’t have ANY fresh fruit options, like NONE… No fresh strawberries or bananas, two of my fav toppings, or anything else. They don’t have very many flavor options. I was craving strawberry or cheesecake froyo, but they didn’t have either. And it’s a little expensive. Yogurtland is way cheaper, and has way more options for flavors and toppings.

Came here with a friend tonight, since she wanted to grab some yogurt. Ordered my regular ice cream with some toppings, and she did the same. When the server rang me up and told me the price, I was like«WTH?!» That’s enough for me to order 4 ice cream at Yogurtland or similar places. And, not only that. but I can choose my own topping with whatever I want on it! So, of course after paying that much. You’d expect some world class ice-cream, right? Wrong… My chocolate was way too sweet and just made me really thirsty. Last time I’ll ever visit a Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt.

What’s not to love about golden spoon! I missed it dearly when I lived in San Clemente and it was far away. Great discounts and rewards programs and feels healthy to eat

Golden Spoon has been around for a long time and still serves up frozen yogurt from behind the counter rather than having customers serve themselves. They offer four sizes of frozen yogurt and 8 to 10 flavors(about half are non-fat but none are sugar free) along with a variety of dry and wet toppings. One nice thing about a set price for the various sizes of yogurt is that if you enjoy the toppings that are heavy and weigh a lot you can choose them and not worry about how much they weigh(which is often what I’m thinking about when I go to the yogurt shops where you have to pay by the ounce). The customer service from behind the counter isn’t super friendly — it was efficient — but that’s it. After we were served the counter person disappeared into the back of the store. The place is clean, there isn’t a lot of seating(inside or out) and because there are so many other restaurants and the movie theater nearby, parking is difficult even though there are plenty of spaces.

I sometimes forget that there’s a Golden Spoon nearby with all the Pinkberrys and Yogurtlands in the area but Golden Spoon is one of those oldies but goodies. Good service. Decent flavors and toppings. I just wish they had more ‘tart’ flavors. Everything here is just so sweet. No fresh fruit that I can see but a lot of crushed candies, nuts, and chocolate. Not my first choice to come here but still a decent yogurt place.

Golden Spoon has my favorite frozen yogurt. Something about it is just a little better than a few other frozen yogurt places that I have been to. You don’t get to pour your own and you choose sizes instead. The prices are decent and I don’t feel like I am getting ripped off by whoever is pouring my ice cream and putting on the toppings. Last time I went here the employee loaded up my serving with a ton of toppings so I feel like the service is good. He also gave me a decent amount of frozen yogurt. Overall, I love golden spoon and if you have the right employee working when you go in then you will be even happier because you will get the amount you want. They have great frozen yogurt and a friendly staff. This location is right in the middle of town center so parking can sometimes be a pain depending on when you go.

Okay, outdated business model. Your competitors let customers pour their own frozen yogurt, add their own toppings, and then pay by weight. This way we get exactly what we want(and by the way usually end up spending more) rather than having some person behind the counter measure out some predetermined amount. It’s time to wake up and look around. It’s time to make your customers happier. And more fruit. Strawberries just aren’t enough.(you would realize this if you had more options and measured what people consume).

There are no mochi :(well it aint Bay Area where all Fro-yo will have mochi as one of their toppings. Also they fill in the toppings which is an additional bummer. Also it costs you extra bucks for toppings such as dried fruits. Me no likey!

The place can get really crowded. The yogurt is good. I wish they had more flavors and fruit toppings.
