The Flame Broiler

I was upset when I ordered white meat and got «deep fried pork». I obviously paid a dollar extra because I wanted chicken breast not some hard non edible chicken!

First… let me start of by saying that this is my first time trying it and I only give it 3 stars because while I did like it, I’m not entirely in love with it. There can be some improvements… I ordered the half and half bowl in a regular size… the meat to rice ratio was ok, and the quality of the food is ok too… I found the rice to be a bit too mushy but the flavor of the rice was great. The have three sauces for you to choose from…“Hot”, «Magic», and «Hot Hot».
The «Hot» sauce was red like sirracha sauce but more watery and it tasted more like buffalo sauce with a little heat (which isn’t a bad thing! I like buffalo sauce!). The «Magic» sauce which I’m guessing is supposed to be teriyaki sauce was a little more salty than what I’m used to but still a great sauce and the «Hot Hot» sauce to my surprise was in a green color… now this sauce REALLY has a kick! I love it! You don’t taste the heat right away but if you give it a second, it will say hello!
…over all the food wasn’t half bad. I think I’ll just stick to Waba Grill when it comes to bowl meals but I wouldn’t mind giving Flame Broiler another chance but I’ll try it with their brown rice instead of the mushy white rice I had… also, I’m interested in their new bowl that has tofu! Just an FYI to any tofu lovers out there!

Hot sauce… Hot sauce… hot sauce.
Had to add that for some good flavoring.
Love how they squish everything in a small little bowl, like it’s all glued together.
Actually, it seems like it after they put that sauce on.
The meal is healthy, so I like that especially in my diet dreams. Ice cream after, when my dream is over at another place

I like this place and have a different experience then others however I come in morning so I don’t see that but it’s good to read all the reviews and see what’s really going on thanks everyone! And yes magic sauce is really good there and come on Saturday morning that guy is nice and I don’t know about the other workers. They play there own music in the back so u have a choice of what to hear

They close at 9pm and I showed up at 8:30pm and the door was locked, the guy inside motioned to me that they were closed, very unprofessional, will not be going back to this location.

Very good food and the magic sauce Is delicious, the beef is great and if you order with vegetables it’s the same price as without vegetables with same amount of meat. 4 stars instead of 5 because prices were raised by quite a lot.

Healthy food & great service, can’t ask for more

Love this place! I’ve stopped by twice to grab lunch. I always get excellent customer service! And my food is always as expected warm and delicious! The cashier is always nice and friendly. I hardly have to wait long for my food. I love that they are fast and I’m literally in and out of there. Will definitely keep coming back.

Food is okay and it is a good option if you are looking for something semi-​healthy (?). Only thing I don’t understand is why you get charged extra 50 cents just because you don’t want carrots. Their rationale is that they have to put more of something else, but I didn’t ask for more veggies; I just want to simply omit an item. I was also charged more because I wanted only broccoli, but again, I’m not asking for more of an item.

Two stars only for speed of food coming out while the tables were all pretty packed
Customer service is completely lacking. The girl rushed me through my entire order, barely made eye contact, and when she gave me my bowl she did say thank you and have a good night but didn’t even look up from her bags she was assembling
When she wasn’t helping customers she was on her phone and is wearing long nails (not ok in food service) with paint on them and I doubt the flannel tied around her waist is part of the uniform.
Food is usually good here and I’ve had better service but usually– unimpressed
If only chipotle didn’t have e. Coli right now

I’ve only been here once — I tried the the beef plate with vegetables… it was ok. The wife had the chicken breast plate with vegetables — which she said was very good. They have a really good hot sauce with just a little kick to it. Over all it was good — I am open to trying it again.

I am a fan of flame broiler but this location is kind of crappy. I’ve been to at least 5 other FB locations and this is the worst. Service and food are both hit and miss. Sometimes slow and flavorless. I come when I’m on a Target run and super hungry. Avoid if possible.

Good thing about this location is their parking, it’s right next to chipotle and fresh and easy (well at least used to be fresh and easy). There are many parking spots so you definitely don’t have to struggling with finding parking. Their service is pretty decent, always have a big smile on their face.
I’ve came here many times for post workout food. I get the chicken bowl with just veggie. It used to be pretty decent until recently, I’m not sure if they changed chef or not but the quality definitely aren’t the same as how it used to be. The chicken now has so much fat, a lot of the times it comes out burnt and chewy. Thank god for the Jalapeño green sauce or else it definitely isn’t that pleasant.
It makes me sad to say that I now need to find a new place to find decent healthy food because for the price I paid for the bowl I can definitely either cook at home myself or go to subway.
Overall, I give 4 stars for service, 2 stars for food, 2 stars for décor and 2 stars for the atmosphere. Please improve the quality. I may not come back again.

The place is really ugly it needs a renovation. The restroom is so nasty and dirty! The customer service is okay at least they try to be nice to you. The food was good and the chicken was cook right so I was happy about that. One thing that I recommend that you do is that you get your food to go and go eat at the park.

Haven’t been here since it first opened and I don’t plan on coming back. Service is slow and the workers don’t seem to care about the customers. While waiting for our order, we sat at a dirty table so we asked one of the workers if they could clean it off. She came by and used a smelly rag (musty wet towel smell) to wipe down the table. She even brushed the food particles and receipt paper on the floor and didn’t bother to pick it up. While eating the chicken bowl with brown rice, I found a piece of chicken with mostly skin on it. They advertise that they don’t serve skin on the chicken! My husband ordered the angus beef bowl and said that most of the pieces had fat on it and was really stringy. Not even a Groupon or coupon would be enticing enough to bring me back to this place.

Found maggots inside my bowl!!! Nasty part was that I was done w my food, they were all the way in the bottom!!!

Went with my boyfriend, we were very specific and CLEAR with our order. I had ordered a chicken veggie bowl, BROWN rice (due to the fact that I hate White rice) WITH onion and he had ordered a the works bowl WHITE rice WITHOUT onion (due to the fact that he’s allergic to onion). Now we’re stuck here with a Works bowl with brown rice and onions and a chicken veggie bowl with white rice and No onion.
Basically got what we didn’t ask for in our bowl.

Love this place. Great food. Decent service. Found my alternative to Yoshinoya. The fact that they serve brown rice blows my mind! No lethargic feeling afterwards. The only feelings you will have are happiness and a sense of accomplishment. Simply because you avoided a burger and came here instead.
Seriously, try this place out. Healthy simple food. What more can you ask for?

First of all, my husband cant wait to eat here for Labor Day. We love their The Works Plate. Their food is really fresh and really good. Very fast service. Clean environment. An addition to having a great experience here is the server/​cashier. Her name is Yesenia.
She is very helpful and accommodating… She assists everyone when she thinks that the customer needs help with their drink, sauce, menu, table, etc… She greets everyone who gets in. Im amazed that she did all of the serving, cleaning, geting orders, etc knowing that she’s by herself on duty, on Labor Day.

Reasonable price, fast and healthy.
Pretty much they have the same concept as Waba Grill minus the salmon dishes. Flame Broiler is my go-​to destination when I can’t cook at home and need to feed my kids something healthy that they actually enjoy. Can’t go wrong with chicken veggie and half & half. They eat everything including the broccoli and carrots. The dishes become even healthier if you ask for brown rice.
Food is good, price is reasonable and service is fast. What else should we expect from a fast food place? I’m a fan!
Tip: if you’re a FiveStars member, they will give you a free regular bowl after the tenth bowl purchased. I don’t consider myself a regular, but it’s so nice to get something free from a location you visit occasionally. I think I come here every other month. I got one free bowl last year without expecting too much of this points program and I’m only a few purchases away again this year. Love it!
