Okay, so before I start my review, I have to say that I only order Chinese delivery for apocalyptic, dire conditions: 1-When there’s no food at home to cook 2-When I’m totally lazy to go eat out I ordered a small Shrimp Lo Mein and a large Chicken Lo Mein to take to work the next day and thought I’d try the Hot and Sour Soup(which I later regretted). I also checked their website before calling them and they had a list of coupons and I got 2 free egg rolls because my order was over $ 15. The small portion is fulfilling and they were generous with the shrimp, it tasted okay, really. The chicken also tasted alright. The veggies, shredded carrots and cabbage with the lo mein noodles, were crunchy and not overcooked; which is something I appreciate when I’m eating Chinese. Now this paragraph is dedicated to the horrible soup. Don’t, under any circumstances, order the Hot and Sour Soup. It’s absolutely disgusting. It smelled and tasted very bad. Just don’t. I warned you. My final verdict: –My two stars are based on the way I compare it to some other Chinese delivery places; not compared to regular Chinese restaurants. –Well, it’s definitely not Panda Express, but it’s not as horrible as some other Chinese delivery places that I’ve tried either. NOTE: My quest to find a good Chinese delivery place continues.

My family and I love this place! We go there quite often and they never fail to amaze us with their awesome food! I normally get the orange chicken or garlic chicken, and it always tastes amazing. One thing you cannot leave this place without are the chicken wontons, they’re delicious! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some great tasting Chinese food!

They open at 10:30am for that Chinese brunch fix. Delivery is usually fast and accurate. Their lunch specials are a good deal. Not many places to sit inside. Great for take out.

Great good and great prices! Can’t beat it! I’ve had their shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, hunan chicken, roast pork lo mein, orange chicken, Szechuan(pretty sure I’m spelling that wrong) chicken, dragon and phoenix, various egg rolls, and and general tso’s chicken. Loved it all. Only thing I wasn’t impressed with was their new honey chicken, not ordering that again. With that one exception, Tops China has not let me down and I’ve been eating there for over 8 years! Also, bonus, lunch specials that are around $ 6.00 and come with a soda and egg roll, leave you full, and your wallet happy. There have a few seats for eat-in, but it’s pretty sparse and honestly as much as I love eating take-out there, I wouldn’t eat in there. Ever. But don’t let that deter you from take out. Seriously. Go. Now. Yum.

Nowhere near as bad as previous reviews make it seem… I ordered their chicken on a stick, chicken corn soup, mixed veggies, crab Rangoon, and moo shoo pork. Everything except the soup was just as good, if not better, than other places in the area. Delivery was fast, prices are reasonable, portions are large. I will order again.

I’ve never seen this place but we love ordering from here. The chef could be a bit more consistent but we have enjoyed most everything we’ve tried. Quick ordering/delivery, friendly staff, and coupons for the bonus.

I’m not a fan. This place I only eat from if there’s nowhere else available. The food is not seasoned well at all. Honestly speaking, the prices should be a lot lower than what they are considering the fact that the food isn’t really up to par. And I don’t know why they even call that fried rice. Save yourself the trouble of indigestion and order from Chef Huang’s instead. I learned my lesson: closer, quick, and cheap don’t necessarily mean better.

Even I like this place but there some item that not good. Some how this place can’t keep a cook. So it keep changing a lot. Luncheon Special Shrimp Egg Foo Young is a little to much oily It come with a free soda or egg roll. for $ 5.99 Hot and sour soup is not so hot. Good. It got to hot for me. House Specialties the fried half chicken with Roast Pork Fried Rice. The chicken was fried with many other items. It give a not so good toast. with sweet bean deep. Also there Roast Pork Fried Rice is ok. The chicken with fresh mushroom was good. Plus when you order this ask for more gravy. With white rice. Fried Rice wood not bring the taste out right. Shrimp toast was not that great. But I found a place near by to take this place on a run. BBQ short ribs is soo good. with extra gravy on top. Because it wood be to dry. You have to spend over $ 12.00 for delivery.

Every so often I do a rotation of the local chinese takeout places to see if any one of them are worthy of replacing my go-to one in the 22309⁄22306 zip code area: Chef Huangs. When I do, I usually order from the same place a few times, ordering different dishes to try out. This one was one and done. When I went to pick up my food, the place was absolutely filthy. The fried rice tasted like they fried up raw uncooked rice; it was incredibly hard. I found out that on their last inspection, they had a staggering 4 critical and 15 non-critical violations, including soiled equipment and utensils, improper food storage temperature, incorrect storage of food allowing for cross-contamination, and failure to cook foods to minimally safe temperatures. Pretty gross. Not even sure how they stay in business.

Just came from here today… last visit was last year… hmm. not a good day for them. I’ve always loved their yellow fried rice but today just didn’t do it for me. Not sure why. Guess what Chuck F. said about«inconsistency» is right on point. I guess my 3rd star is for the sake of nostalgia :\

I placed an order on their website at 4:39 this afternoon. It’s now 6:20 and I am still hungry and waiting. I tried calling both phone numbers listed on the site but can’t get through. I just read the review below that said their order was .75 cents short of the minimum and they made them order something else. Mine was .65 cents short of the minimum but the website let me place the order and I never got a call from them saying I needed to order something more. I’m very disappointed… and still hungry.

ok, look, t his place isn’t awful. Sure, it’s inconsistent but what Chinese restaurant isn’t? We order here all the time, set the bar appropriately and hope for the best. More often than not, it works. Occasionally, one dish is off but we keep goong back. Got it?

I usually go inside the restaurant and get the food to go. Hard to eat inside as the air conditioner is usually broken. I tried the Seafood Combination but the so called crab meat is imitation crab meat, like you find in the grocery store so I won’t order that again unless they give me REAL crab meat. I also ordered the beef and scallops. It is supposed to come with vegetables. But what I really got was vegetables with some beef and scallops. So if I order that again I will tell them I want beef and scallops, not mostly vegetables and will pay more to get it. The food is good tasting in general but they need some work. The people were VERY friendly and nice so I’ll go back with stipulations. The BEST Chinese restaurant I have found in the DC area is the House of Dynasty but it is NOT in the Woodbridge area. I guess to me the best local place is the House of Chou.

Oh so bad… Ordered some delivery while we were at work. A couple things: I know there was a minimum for delivery, but we were like $.75 short on our order so they made us order another item… seriously guys? Secondly, the food was just not good, I’m sorry, but it just wasn’t. On the plus side, they deliver onto Fort Belvoir, and they deliver out in the middle of no-where Belvoir, so I’ll give them that.
