Ok… So every time I come to this location my meal is never correct! It’s always missing items(sides) wrong price of chicken or spicy when it should be mild or vice versa. It’s getting to the point where I hate to go but it’s the closest one to my moms home. I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier or the drive through needs to be updated or the staff of being rushed to do something in a certain amount of time or what but it’s unacceptable. I can’t even blame it on the drive thru alone because it happens when I go on the inside as well. All I want to do is order a meal and to get home and have what I ordered and paid for in my bag. That’s it! That’s all! I’m so tired of coming back the next day or two later to pick up the correct meal it coming home and having something I didn’t order or eating my chicken with or without a side I didn’t want or no side at all. Ughhhhhh You red to fix this issue!

I’ve never done the drive thru, so I won’t comment on that. But every time I walk in this place it’s clean, the cashier reads my order back, the manager is tossing out old chicken instead of trying to sell it, and I get my spicy order fresh and hot. Also onion rings. About the worst I can say is that I don’t like the video screen menus; as soon as you try and read it, the menu changes to something else. If you think you’re getting bad food and service here, you need to hit the KFC up the road.

The worst thing on earth happened. I drove up. Ordered my meal and a drink and as I grabbed the straw. I heard the«Pop»(you know where the drink never fully reaches your mouth because it’s broken)…THEWORST. So I give it back to her and say it’s broken. She looks at me like I couldn’t possibly know what I’m talking about and. does the unthinkable… PUTSTHESTRAWBACKINWITHTHERESTOFTHESTRAWS. Once she gave me my food I tried to explain again before she sends someone down the road of partial beverage intake and she closed the window on me. HORRIBLESERVICE

Bought a bucket of chicken and was dismayed to see that most of it was wings and drumsticks. Dunno if it was because I used a coupon.

I am not a big fast food person, but this location is pretty close to my work. I have been here a handful of times and always had a great experience. I always get the chicken tenders, fries and a biscuit. It is always delicious.

Love this chain restaurant. Has a good niche of fried chicken that meets the mark each time. Uh, the delivery is quick and the food is good, unless you prefer the buffet across the street that caters to tour buses.

Prices are too high. I bought 5 chickens wings for $ 10.02, that is expensive and they wasn’t fresh or spicy what I asked for!!! You cant really understand the lady working drive thru. This place needs help with their food, help, and prices.

Located in the middle of a fairly busy strip mall, this is the only Popeye’s on the Richmond Highway corridor between Alexandria and Fort Belvoir. I have never had a problem with the service or the food. The chicken is very crispy. The biscuits are golden topped and very flaky. The Cajun fries can’t be surpassed.

This location never fails to disappoint me. But it is by far the unprofessional way in which this location is run that makes me crazy. Popeye’s has a good product but it is not worth going here to get it. 1) Drive thru is unreliable and never worth the time that you think you might save. More often than not — you will be sent to the parking lot to wait for you food. And wait.. .and wait.. .and wait.. .until you go inside and ask for it. The one time I refused to pull out of the line and into the lot — I was cursed at in Spanish by the person taking my order(I may not be fluent in Spanish but I know enough to know when I’m being cursed at). 2) I waited 15 minutes for chicken strips and when I finally went back up to counter to ask about them.. .had them pushed at me across the counter by some kid who did not have the courtesy to a) apologize or b) offer me any accompanying sauces or other. The kid spelled his name on his(official) Popeye’s name tag with a «$» instead of an «S». So, I guess I should have expected this. And it’s fair to assume that if you’ll allow that level of unprofessionalism in your establishment — I guess you’ll allow anything. 3) Not worth complaining to the manager — ever. Like M B. stated — she is just as rude as anyone else working in that place(I guess it comes from the top down). And she is lazier than all of them. If the situation can’t be handled from her stool in the corner — it’s not going to get handled at all.

Granted Popeye’s chicken is Popeye’s chicken that is a given, but the customer service at this location is AWFUL!!! The manager which was without a name tag to identify her was the most rude person I’ve ever encountered at a fast food restaurant. She came from the back to the front counter area, when I noticed that absolutely NOONEISWEARING A HAIRNET, and the weaves and hair are all over the place, and starts pointing and directing those who have yet to be waited on to a counter. She doesn’t ask if she can help us, she shouts, «You been waited on, RIGHTTHERE, RIGHTTHERE!» She then sits in a chair in the corner and begins barking orders at her front counter personnel… I did not want the chicken that left in the bin and asked how long it would be on some fresh to be prepared. My server told me about 5 minutes, so i waited. As he began to throw out the dried out chicken, the manager steps in to stop him and says«Somebody will buy that». I just looked on in amazement. I decided to leave at this point… Where is the pride in doing your job, no matter what it is???

Drive thru. Yes, I said drive thru. Ordered the mon/tues special. $ 3.99 for 2 piece, biscuit, side and a drink. The best fried chicken… nice juicy and hot. Plus their sweet tea is delish!

Do not waste your time or money at this poo hole. I ordered a 3pc spicy with cajun rice and onion rings; 6pc chicken nugget and red beans & rice. I received a 3pc with a biscuit and none of the sides, the«spicy» was the tell tale red along the outside of the chicken, but not spicy in the least. The 6pc nuggets resembled popcorn chicken more than any nugget I have seen and were flavorless, although I did at least receive the red beans & rice. In total I paid $ 16.05 for 3pc of not spicy chicken, 6 microscopic nuggets, 2 biscuits and red beans & rice. Which would cost me $ 5 to make at home. This place is a joke.
