Went here today thinking I could stop for lunch before I went to Bed Bath and Beyond. I know the food is awful, but sometimes I crave their french fries. Ugh. What mistake. Stood there for fifteen minutes while people cut into the line acting like animals. One cashier just left her station while I was standing on what I bought was a line. Totally ghetto. Kids were screaming and the noise level was outrageous. I walked out.

Reasonably fast service if not particularly friendly, and food was as good as it gets. The only gripe is the shocking bathroom that belies the McDonald’s the brand, and this is the first time I have been to a McDonald’s bathroom and gasped: smashed soap dispenser, no soap and no paper towels, and general stench. Again, it would not stop us from stopping by again, but my goodness, I am glad I went to the bathroom AFTER I finished eating.

The service was fast and my quarter pounder was good! Not sure why this place was given such low reviews. I am coming back after George Washingtonian house. Trying the apple pie!!!

Used to go to this McDonald’s as a kid back in the 90’s, from what I remember the service was awesome. Now it seems since they have upgraded the outside and inside, the service has downgraded. Went through the drive thru and ordered 4 McDoubles. The 2 people in front of me ordered way more stuff than I did, and they received their orders the second they got to the 2nd window. I on the other hand was told to go wait in the #1 reserved spot. Then I had to wait 15 McMinutes for them to(what I can only assume) slaughter the McCow and make the McCheese and possibly make the McBuns. And to top it off, the guy who brought my 4 McDoubles just kinda tossed the bag at me, like it absolutely ruined his McDay to bring me my food. What a McJerk. PROTIP: If you want to go to this McDonald’s. pack a lunch first.

Food is OK at times but there service is terrible always messing up orders. Slow at times. One girl cashed me for some one else’s meal. I think the need to revaluate some of the employees. I had to go to one up the street due to poor service.

Service is very slow, Food isn’t that great! I don’t know what is wrong with these people at this location. I came in the morning, in the drive threw, ordered breakfast and paid for it with a $ 5, and the lady said my $ 5 was not real. I didn’t have anymore dollars on me, I had to change my order and use my coins, that I had. So I took the $ 5 back to Petco, and the manager, was willing just to exchange it for me. He checked the $ 5 with the marker and it was real! I called McDonalds and explain to them what happen to me, the lady wasn’t too interested. If your going to tell me my money isn’t real, Please be correct about your information!!! The service is always bad here. My son just loves McDonalds!!!

This was one of the first McDonald’s to open in the Richmond Highway corridor, between Fort Belvoir and the City of Alexandria, in the early 1960’s. The old restaurant was replaced by a new building a few years ago. The parking lot is adequate and there is no conflict between customers on foot and those wishing to use the drive-thru. Get your Coke, Big Mac, and fries here!

This is one of the worst McDonald’s you’ll experience. I’ve been in three times and each time it’s been consistently slow to get your food. Worse for me, they now have a VERYBAD process of NOT providing the drink cups until the whole order is ready. So, instead of letting my family fill up the cups while waiting they have to stand around and wait. With all the other people standing around waiting. It’s a much larger group waiting around since the«new» building was opened and this wonderful process of slowing down food delivery was put in place. Also, every order has had an issue with an item missing or the wrong item on the tray and today it was BOTH. In a way I wish they hadn’t «upgraded» which is something I’ve heard from friends before. Anyway, the staff are trying but it’s clear there is an upper management issue either with the«owner’ or McDonald’s HQ. I suspect upper management and McDonald’s HQ are not doing their jobs effectively and the poor time to get the food ready, completeness and poor quality of the food is the result.

«Fast food» used to mean picking up some burgers and fries and driving away. Now it means waiting behind some clueless monster trying to pick from any of the 4,890 combinations of Value Meals while s/h/it stares slackjawed at the video screen. Like Checkers up the street, no matter when I come here – 7am or 9pm – I place my order and they tell me to park and wait and someone will bring me my food. If you’re desperate enough for this slop, just park and walk in. Avoid the drive thru. If you like your meat dry, your buns soggy, and your fries swimming in grease, try the Five Guys nextdoor. Or, better yet, just drive to the Roy Rogers in Belle View or the one near Belvoir and get a real burger with fresh fixins served by people who know what they’re doing.
