Been coming here for over 10 years, have always had a good experience. Late January it reopened from a remodel — new chairs and mirrors. Looks very clean and tidy. Same friendly barbers, some with over 25 years of experience. Same great price.

It was good to discover that this place is still a dump :-) The renovations consisted of new barber chairs and new mirrors. That’s about it. The floor is still a mess, everything else looks pretty much as it did before the renovations minus the school pennants. I’m glad they didn’t really change anything and they kept the same prices. You don’t go there for atmosphere, you go for a haircut and that’s what you get.

All around great place to get a haircut and very nice people who work here.

It is OPEN! No longer temporarily closed. They have new barber chairs and otherwise the same as usual.

loved this ‘old time’ barber shop ! Was a little hesitant going in but got a great cut. No wonder the place was packed with people calmly waiting, while the Hair cuttery, a couple of stores away, was empty.

Bradlee Barber is closed, awful news. Went to this place for 18 years, so sad to see it go.

Extremely rude customer service! My husband tried to take our toddler for a haircut there. They walked in, and no one said a word. When my husband asked a polite question, again, no one acknowledged them. There were four barbers cutting hair two feet away… Not one word! They waited for a while, but then after some time they left and went to Floyd’s. My son had a great experience there. I get that barbers are generally not«chatty», but at least have the decency to respond to a polite question!!! Tried to give this place zero stars but Unilocal won’t let me!

Had a wonderful experience for toddlers haircut! He sat in the car(could use a little update and maybe a steering wheel). The barber was sweet and playful… this was stress free and enjoyable. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been going for ten years. I eventually settled on Pham at chair 5 to cut my hair. I’ll wait through several open barbers to get her.

You should go here instead of the chain barbershop across the street. This barbershop is part of the community and you will meet your neighbors, learn about local schools and businesses, etc. Its pretty straightforward and traditional. Be very clear about how you want it cut and they will be fine. I’ve been going here for 6 years. Note: Like any barbershop, you might need to try more than one barber before you find the one you really like. Then go back to the SAMEPERSON. I use Mike, he is very good. Don is good too. Some of the temporary folks that come in for 1 day a week did not meet my needs.

Worst haircut ever. I have a simple military haircut, its very difficult to mess up(at least this bad). The lady clearly was rushing through, taking absolutely no pride in her work. Not only was the process of getting the haircut painful and unpleasant, but I was left with uneven chop marks on the side of my head and in the back. I was cringing as she hacked away with the straight razor, clearly trying to finish as fast as possible to get on to the next cut. Similarly, her area, and the most of the barber shop is full of hair. I guess if someone won’t take the time to clean up their area throughout the day, you can’t expect to them to take time on your haircut. Its simply appalling to get that level of attention and service for $ 16. It may be that I had the only bad barber in the place, but I would not be willing to go back and find out, because there is clearly no quality control in the hiring process.

I am not one to write a bad review often but I just finished the worst haircut I’ve had in 10 years. I had bed hair when I walked in since I decided not to put effort into my hair before an early AM haircut. Despite showing several pictures of what I wanted(keep it a bit longer on top and just enough on side to style back) she just took a trimmer and quite literally hacked away without combing or wetting my hair. She just left a longer version of a trimmer dome cut. You can now plainly see the stroke marks in my hair from the uneven swipes she made. Now if you have very short hair these folks could probably meet your needs just fine but dear goodness otherwise I strongly urge you to avoid making the same mistake I did by coming here. You get what you pay for.

An old school barber shop just out of sight. I got a great cut and they did a straight razor shave on the back of my neck. Definitely going back.

If you are looking for a good, no frills, cheap cut, this is the place! I make the half hour trip here every few weeks because these barbers have the best affordable cuts around. Be advised though, they do not accept credit cards but there is an ATM outside the door.

There is rarely a wait of more than a few minutes, even though the place is always busy. It’s definitely not the cleanest or nicest shop, but if you’re looking for a standard cut they take their time and do a good job.

I got a decent haircut. The venue is small, but well kept. Has an old school barbershop look to it. Some of the Barbers are friendlier than others. Mine was not much for small talk, but was diligent in giving me a decent haircut. Price is decent. One note of warning for any with widows peaks: my Barber did shave mine back. It looks good, but now I have to maintain it.

I’ve been going to Bradlee Barber for over 15 years. It’s a fantastic old school barber shop. Don and Pat are my go to guys and both do a fantastic job. Remember to tip your barbers, these guys work hard and are a community staple.

I’ve been looking for an old-school barber shop. My search has ended. If you need a no-frills cut, this is it. They finished off with a straight-razor neck and sideburn shave. Most clientele are mostly men(including military and police) and children. And the staff is very friendly. Costs $ 14 for a basic mens cut. Kudos! But as others said, if you have long hair or need more special service, go elsewhere.

We went to the Bradlee Barber Shop today, and they did a great job with my 3.5 year old son’s hair, as well as my 22 month old son. Patrick gave my 22 month old his first haircut, and it looks really great. It’s called the«Standard Boy Cut». He got a certificate. They both got to sit in little car seats. It’s like anold-fashioned barber shop, and just perfect for little boys! They open early(we were there at 8:30am) and were able to simultaneously get their hair cut, which was a big plus. It is Cash or Check only, and $ 12 per kid.
