Great place to have dessert. There are different flavours to choose from and all of them are tasty. The toppings are cool as well. The taste reminds me of FrozenYo at Rosslyn, where I used to live earlier and hence used to visit the store very often. A few things about this SweetFrog store and pardon me for drawing a comparison with FrozenYo. a) they have a loyalty programme where for every $ 4 you get a stamp on the card. After 10 stamps, you get a cup of yogurt & toppings free; b) they charge you for the hot chocolate(FrozenYo offers it complimentary); c) the staff are very cordial and cust friendly; d) sadly this store dosent participate in the app based loyalty. There are stores which do so and on registration you get 5 stamps straightway on your e-card; e) would be great if they changed the flavours over certain frequency. Bottomline — a great place.

Our go-to spot for frozen yogurt. Delicious stuff. The staff is hit or miss though — some are pleasant and professional while others just haven’t been trained how to interact with customers. 4 stars — clean location and the calorie postings are helpful, too.

The yogurt and toppings were really good. However the sitting most of the cushions had stains on them. As well as the high top didn’t seem very sturdy was afraid to sit there. It’s not very inviting more of a grab and go

Was driving around and decided to have some froyo. Looked up the closest store from BJ’s and noticed this place. Once I entered I noticed the décor was very bright and slightly cheap, but I wasn’t there for the décor but the froyo. So I still went In. They had about 10 available flavors to try. And over 20 available toppings. After I made my awesome looking froyo cup I stayed there to eat it. They were playing good music low enough to still hold a conversation with you friends. So overall the place had some very good Froyo if your around the area.

Fro-yo businesses are very similar, but what sets them apart is their service and options. The first thing my brother and I noticed was a sweet smile by the lady behind the cash register, which made us feel comfortable. Little things do count! I got a Taro and Cake Batter combination with cookie dough pieces and cheesecake, it was excellent. Try this sometime and comment what you think. My brother got what is pictured below, trying every topping he could. Whatever your style, this is a nice shop off Van Dorn, I recommend trying it on a hot day.

Came here while staying with a friend currently living in the DC area, this place was up the street from him. The Froyo is pretty standard but the pricing was a lot better than what I pay back home, great place to get desert after dinner in one of the nearby restaurants in the same strip mall.

I don’t have frozen yogurt very often, but when I do, Sweet Frog definitely hits the spot! I love being able to sample their flavors, and they have pretty much any kind of topping you could possibly want. It would be nice if they had a little more seating inside, but other than that, no complaints.

Pretty much my go-to frozen yogurt spot since there are so many in the area and there is one close to where I live. Their tart flavor is so perfect and I love the taro flavor whenever they have it. I love self-serve fro-yo places because I can get just a little of yogurt to satisfy my craving and just pay $ 2 or under, unlike pinkberry where they charge you $ 3+ for a small portion.

This is by far my favorite fro-yo spot. The yogurt tastes more like ice cream than yogurt, and their toppings always seem fresh.

The people always say hi and are really nice other than being OCD about how you put the spoon back. They practically take the spoon out of your hand and put it back how they want it. If you want a topping behind the one they’re OCD cleaning up, you have to wait for them to fix the first one. Just annoying. Every time, too. Every time you use a spoon. Every time you come.

So, um… how shall I put this… the exterior is not what I was expecting but it’s still the adorable #sweetfrog I know. It’s a refreshing interior to be in during the muggy weekends. I got my usual fruity tarty flavors like mango and melon while the better half served himself some rich chocolatey treats. Mochi is my fave topping and they were ready for me to spoon up. This location had a tiny area for little ones which is thoughtful(a few inches shorter than myself). Hopefully it’s still there? DIY, weigh, and pay. What, what was that o_O those tees are calling me. How do they know?! Next time I’m gettin’ a cray colored one.

We were in the mood for some frozen yogurt, but didn’t feel like driving all the way to Tyson’s Corner for some Pinkberry, so I googled frozen yogurt and came across Sweet Frog. I had driven by one that’s scheduled to open soon, but had never actually been to one so I looked for the nearest one and headed on over. Obviously it’s the same concept as Pinkberry, but you serve yourself(as much or as little as you’d like) and they have a lot more flavors. We did our taste test on a variety of flavors and then made our decision and proceeded to the toppings. I will say, they do have a large variety of toppings, which was pretty cool(I’m sure kids have a ball with that). We paid, took a seat in the lawn chairs and enjoyed! :) I liked that they had a large seating area and it wasn’t such a uniform seating selection — they have lawn chairs, bar tops, and regular table tops scattered throughout. One thing I did notice right away was the quality of the frozen yogurt. The yogurt immediately starts to melt as soon as you place it in a container, which was a bummer. Pinkberry definitely has better quality, but it’s not a bad place to fill my frozen yogurt craving. I’d stop by again — sure why not!

I love this place! It’s the best frozen yogurt you can get in the area. The flavours are fun and they have two seasonal flavours that always change. They have a variety of toppings and the fruits are always fresh. It’s kind of crowded on weekends and you might not find a place to sit down, but it won’t ruin the fun of enjoying the taste. It’s good for small gatherings and family outings.

The location is not always easy to get to, but once there I love the décor. The yogurt flavors are good and I love the freshness of the fruit(fresh berries and great bite size cuts). I like to use a larger cup size– that way I can keep my fruit toppings separate from brownie/oreo toppings :) The staff while teens are always polite and friendly. Great business, great product.

I’m not too picky with frozen yogurt, but I prefer self-serve places because of the freedom of toppings! Sweet Frog is a good option for relatively cheap fro-yo, and after your 10th one you get a free small one, filled as much as you want!

Before leaving the NoVA area, I came here to try their froyo and was pleasantly pleased. I still love Pinkberry but this comes damn close. I didn’t take note of how much they charge per ounce but again was pleasantly surprised by how cheap my cup was. They also give discounts for military.

Frozen yogurt is great and the price is good. They have a lot of flavors and toppings to choose from. The only thing that concerns me is how they charge you and when you ask for a receipt, it’s not itemized… it’s just the total which you are charged. I bought a voucher for $ 5 and you get to spend $ 10. When I placed my yogurts to be weighed on the first register, it came up to $ 9.30. I presented my voucher and the cashier said he had to ring me up on the other register, I moved my yogurts to the next scale and now… I OWE them $ 0.44 more. I asked him why do I owe now when I actually had a credit of $ 0.70 and he said that he didn’t press the tender amount due yet. I wasn’t going to sit their and argue about $ 0.44 cents but when you multiply the state sales tax and Alexandria City’s 4% meal and beverage tax… I still felt I was being overcharged.

E.X.C.E.L.L.E.N.T I’ve tried all the competition(some several times) but for quality of product, selection of toppings, variety of flavors and overall cost — Sweet Frog has them all beat hands down. When a medium cup full of yogurt and toppings at SF cost the same as a mini with a few token strawberries at Pinkberry, how could you deny at least trying them out. They are also generous with the little cups so you can sample the flavors before you commit. My first visit — I probably ate half a cup just in samples. The quality of the frozen yogurt is very high having more the texture of soft serve ice cream than icy milk. The original is also nicely tart. There are 14 flavors available but my favorites are Dulce de Leche, Cappucino, NY Cheesecake and Cake Batter. As for toppings there are probably over 30 with a fine selection of fresh fruits, candies, cookies and breakfast cereals. They also have 6 wet toppings though I stick with the caramel and a drizzle or two of strawberry and marshmallow. I also really enjoy that this is a serve yourself instead of «we’ll do it for you». Last night I loaded up my cup, but since I was fullish from Chinese food I chose to just stick it in the freezer. Made an excellent lunch today :-)

This is my new frozen yogurt spot. I recently noticed several yogurt places popping up in Alexandria and Arlington, but I have to say this is the best one I have tried. I love the strawberry and cake batter flavors. I’m not really a person who likes toppings, so its all about the yogurt for me. The small size holds a lot of yogurt. I never finished eating yogurt until I went to the Sweet Frog. You can even freeze it for later if you can’t finish it, and its just as good. 5 Stars!
