Met friends at Marble(first time!) to enjoy a brew and get a bite to eat. TFK was the only food truck there that night. The people were super-friendly and really good salespeople. Maybe it was a bad idea to have vegetarian food from a truck that specializes in smoked, barbecued meat but there was no other selection that night. The portabella mushroom sandwich was my only option. I ate the majority of it but only because I was hungry. Everything was absolutely covered in their(for me) disagreeable, sour sauce. Very messy, as well. I don’t mind messy food if it tastes good to me, but in this case the messiness just added to the unpleasant food experience. I’m glad that others(nearly everyone who has reviewed, carnivores all) found them very good. Again, very nice people.

For everyone that lives in ABQ, and I realize this would be a hardship, please convince these guys to come to Portland, OR at least a few months out of the year. The people who work the truck were amazing and so friendly. I had the buffalo chicken sliders with homemade potato salad. It was divine. As other reviewers have mentioned, prepare to eat a very messy sandwich! It was a four-napkin set of sliders with a wet wipe on the side deal. The chicken was spicy and fresh, the lettuce on it was shredded and crispy and the ranch was drizzled on in perfect proportion. The potato salad was just about as good as anyone’s mom could make although I would love to see some red onion in it. but that is totally me — I love that extra oomph. I could eat the potato salad all day long and the second slider(they are big!) held up quite well on the plane trip home so I could have it for lunch the next day. If only, I’d thought to order more potato salad! This will definitely be on my list of places to go next time I am in Albuquerque.

I love this place! They do barbecue right! I really enjoy the brisket sandwich paired with a marble brew. My wife and I really dig the service and she loves their chicken sandwich.

I’ve had TFK Smokehouse twice now while visiting Marble for a few brews. I think I ended up with sliders both times. Last time I got the chicken sliders which were quite good. A generous portion of meat smothered in a very flavorful sauce on a nice soft bun. The slaw is also very good. Comes with your choice of kettle chip flavors. This BBQ plus Marble beer made for a great meal. We’ll definitely be back!

The 505 Sliders are indescribably delicious… just try them now, and thank me later! Don’t ask…“Pineapple and green chile and cole slaw and smoky pulled pork?” Seriously, just give them a try. You’ll see the light! And if you like potato salad, you’ll love TFK’s homemade yumminess. If not, take your pick of several flavors of Miss Vicky’s chips. The folks at Marble are wise to choose TFK as one of their frequent food truck vendors!

If you see TFK Smokehouse while your enjoying some time at Marble you must have the BBQ brisket or chicken caprese sandwich! Although be prepared to make a mess when eating the brisket this sandwich definitely has to be eaten with your hands and many napkins. The chicken caprese sandwich was excellent! The mozzarella, tomato, and chicken were just the right size and marinated beautifully. The perfect sandwich to be paired with Marble’s Double White! If you see TFK Smokehouse driving by you should definitely follow the trunk!

This was awesome! I am not a connoisseur but I went to school in North Carolina and my wife grew up in Texas. We both agree that this was some of the best BBQ we’ve had. The beef was super flavorful and smokey and the chicken was well trimmed and juicy. It was messy but that’s to be expected. The sauce was also really good. I would be interested to try the beef dry sometime too. We will be keeping an eye out for them. Combine it with Marble Beer and we got a nice meal!

I love their BBQ. Everything is made from scratch. I don’t like potato salad but I love theirs. The brisket is my favorite. This a New Mexico gem.

Mr. Chris and Katie have the best food in town. I love to eat their food on Tuesdays or Saturdays at Marble Brewery on First St, from early afternoon until late. They also feed people at the West side Marble. I eat their fresh, delicious potato salad with every order. My last sandwich was the TFK smoked Pork and green chile in our signature sweet sauce with grilled pineapple and cole slaw on toasted Hawaiian rolls… Hawaii 505 Sliders. Yummmmmmm Give them a try!

Truck outside of marble brewery. We ordered a steak sandwich and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. My husband thought both were very good but I thought the BBQ pulled pork sandwich was very good. Total was 18 for both so not so bad. Definitely recommend if grabbing if grabbing a beer at marble.
I’m amazed that TFK doesn’t get the props that it deserves in the ABQ food truck scene. They’re usually parked at Marble or Tractor, and their brisket is some of the best in town. For $ 8, you can get a brisket(or pulled pork, etc.) sandwich and chips or potato salad. Their meats are so smokey and juicy, and their cole slaw is a great complement. I’ve heard that their smoked pork and ribs are great, but I love the brisket so much that I’ve never tried anything else. Check em out and you won’t regret it.
