Food Truck Rumble @ Marble Brewery

Seems to be well organized. And most importantly fun and tasty. Met some nice people and loved the pairings.

Fantastic event and all the better that it was organized and put on by the community here in Albuquerque. The mobile gourmet restaurateurs created a delicious selection of dishes for all to try and did a remarkable job finding and delivering plates in a crowded event. The Sweet Jubilee Vintage Jazz Dance Troupe put on a great performance that went above and beyond what I expected the event to be.
As far as improvements for next time: More seating would be nice as I could tell people were starting to get grumpy as the night went on and numbering the tables would make it easier on the food truck staff delivering dishes.
All told I had a great time and it was nice to meet some of the people who I see on Unilocal regularly as well.

I’m very pleased at how it was planned out as I kept gettting more and more distressed wondering how the lines would be for beer and food. Thankfully, the punch system, the three different tappings, and the four food trucks were all made things easy. Lines were short and quick so that addressed an issue with the last rumble.
As for the food, all was good, although I agree with voters, the Shrimp and Grits were best.
I was impressed by how seriously people took the dress aspect, lots of folks out in there best duds.
My only quibble is the place was packed, super packed, and it was hard to move around. Fortunately, Marble opened the brewery part of their building and had tables there. That was our savior.
There wasn’t live music there in the back, but a good jazz soundtrack made up for it.
Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to some baby issues, so I didn’t get to enjoy all the action up front, from the photo booth and live music, to the energetic crowd and 1930’s outfits.
Next time, hopefully… assuming there is a next time.

Frickin crazy! Awesome food from four different food trucks, expertly paired with Marble beers. A really good set. And the music and costumes are very impressive as well! But the place is nuts. Many, many people. Especially outside. But it’s a beautiful ABQ spring day, so who can blame everyone. I wouldn’t miss it!

Awesome event ! Great food and congrats to the winning food truck, the supper truck ! I hope we have more events like this in Albuquerque it spruced up my Wednesday night !
