Motel 6

The price is low but it’s not worth it! The bedspreads had burn marks and stains all over them. The room smelled like a chain smoker was living there. It was not a safe place, we took turns watching our vehicle and only ended up staying for 4 hours. There were roaches in the room. It was just disgusting!!!

The heater did NOT work in the first room that they gave me, then I could not adjust the heater in the second room because the adjustment knob was stripped. Bedspread dirty with unknown stains & burn holes. (Theoretically I rented a non-​smoking room.)
There was blowing snow during my stay and although they did salt the walkways, they did not salt the stairs which were VERY slippery and difficult to negotiate with my bags. The t.v. remote did not work and the t.v. channels were not correctly programmed. The wifi didn’t work upstairs.
I CANNOT recommend this property and will NEVER stay at this location again. I only hope that the folks in charge of franchises at Motel 6 will come out and inspect this property and remove their good name or persuade the owners of this property to make the necessary corrections of which there are many!

The service is good and price, but the rooms are dirty and towels rough and sheets nasty spotty, TV don’t work and the hot after is hot for 5 minutes we found 3 bugs but, heck our car broke down and with kids we had to get them out of the cold –17 degrees, we use our own blankets to sleep on top of beds and we are warm,
The thang that help them our great friendly service, they would get a 1 star!

Rude customer service + Roach Infestation = AVOID!
I’ve been a long-​time Motel 6 fan. I’ve always enjoyed the Motel 6 chain during my travels across the continental US. However, during travels when I stopped over in Albuquerque, my wife and I discovered that the room was grossly infested with cockroaches. And no, we did not go searching for roaches – these were the ones which were clearly visible on the floors and walls! We noticed some emerging from hidden areas, but we didn’t want to go prodding around and releasing potentially many others. At this point, we were so disgusted that we requested a refund, but were denied the refund by rude staff who did not believe us (and didn’t ask to come see the evidence for themselves). When I requested to speak to a manager, presumably named «Annie», she refused to speak with me. Although the room was less than $ 50, the principle of the matter is the biggest issue.
Moral of the story: Do not be wowed by their cheap prices – this location is exceptionally cheap for a reason. You will encounter rude staff who will not take ownership for the high-​level of infestation. My recommendation is to spend an additional $ 10 and book a motel at one of the competing chains within the neighborhood. You will sleep more comfortably and be more satisfied with the experience.

Small room but clean. Laminate wood looking floor. Shower but no tub. Decent lighting. No screens on windows. The drip in the bathroom may bother some but being HoH I can’t hear it. A little pricey @ $ 62.40 for a full size bed and NO drawers or a dresser but it is Balloonfest weekend and it is right off I40. No coffee maker or hair dryer or clock. There is a flat screen tv above the micro wave and mini ice box. One night stand and a 2 shelf countertop/​desk with a chair. Has a minimalist city/​Euro feel. Not bad at all. Had worse :-)

40.00 including taxes. Clean, safe, near the freeway, across from Albertson’s, and 20 minutes from downtown. NOTE: This is not a Motel 6, but a Roadway Inn.
