It seems like every time I go get some beef jerky the owner is at the front counter waiting for some customers, playing pool, or watching a movie on the T.V. he put in the shop. It is a very cool place to hang out shoot some pool and yet every time I go in I’m in and out because I can’t wait to stuff my face with the delicious garlic salt beef jerky he makes. When he isn’t at the shop his son, or family friends run the counter, and they are just as nice as he is. They are all willing to have conversation.
Food and Experience
The absolute best flavor you can get is the garlic salt beef jerky. Another flavor I can recommend is the green chile beef jerky. I like the garlic salt jerky the most because it is thin and crispy. The flavor is very enjoyable too. He only has one shop in all of Abq, but it is well worth driving to Taylor Ranch to buy some.
