I am obsessed with this place! My boyfriend and I went for the first time last month after searching Unilocal for good cheese places. Not only was it an excellent cheese shop, but everything else we’ve tried has been superb(fresh bread, jams, salads, sandwiches, etc). He has been going back nearly every week for deli meats and cheeses. The staff are very knowledgeable and excited about all of their items. I can’t believe such a great place exists in albuquerque.

I reviewed this restaurant but it looks like it was deleted? The food and service is inconsistent. When I complained to the owner, he was extremely rude. My husband overheard him yelling at a server and she was in tears. It seems the owner has a poor attitude.

Here are five huge reasons why you must, MUST run to this Albuquerque original right now: sausage, bread, pasta, cured meats and mozzarella. This deli makes every one of these items in-house and they’re outrageously scrumptious. I challenge anyone in the country to name another business that specializes in all five of these delicacies. In Manhattan, you’ll find shops that do one or two, but not all of them. For these five reasons alone, Burque is more than blessed. If you follow what I write, you already know I’m a big fan of the M’Tucci brand. But this place, man… Okay, I’ll just say it. It’s a great lay. It’s an epic lay. The sandwiches, sides, charcuterie, the whole gamut, quite possibly better than a roll in the hay. The muffaletta, cubano and pastrami sammies are supermodels that drain all of the blood from my brain. The pastrami is cured for three weeks, steamed 18 hours and smoked another three. The breads provide the S&M factor: baguettes carve up the roof of your mouth, occasionally making it bleed. Sides are more ménage á trios, pick your lover: orzo, farro, potato or horseradish chips. And the preserves, like the olive tapenade, you’ll be licking them off the plate. Sweet pickles are a total turn-off for me, but here, I jump ‘em like a dog in heat. Recently I had a date with the beet salad. Watermelon radish? Balsamic cacao vinaigrette? I got down on that thang. I had to consult my doctor, my erection lasted more than four hours. This little shop is top five on my favorites list in this city. Want a multiple, um, mouthgasm? Try the cannoli.

Visiting from out of town and taken by a local for lunch. It was delightful! Sat outside, server was attentive but not overbearing and made wonderful suggestions for lunch. My friend and I shared a muffy and orzo pasta salad side… and topped it off with the crostata for dessert. YUM!!! Do yourself a favor and try it!

Remember when you had time to slow down, savor a moment, maybe learn something about yourself and the world around you? Get thee to the deli, and reclaim that long-lost version of yourself one bite at a time. A friend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to pick up some dinner nosh, looking to confirm for ourselves all of the awesome stories we’ve heard about M’Tucci’s. I was hoping for the kind of neighborhood Italian deli experience I grew up with back east(minus the angry impatient old Italian lady), but wasn’t remotely prepared for the awesome experience that awaited us. Over the course of an hour, the incredibly patient, knowledgeable staff met our questions with charm and grace despite a steady stream of customers, doling out mind-blowing samples of meats, cheeses, olives, oils and house-pickled goodness, encouraging my companion and me to slowly savor, reflect and consider their artisanal offerings as potential candidates for the evening’s meal. The angry old lady of my deli’d youth, while indisputably a master at luganiga, certainly never would have offered to pour me a glass of wine, and my tasting buddy a cold Stella; not only did the staff not mind our lingering presence, they seemed to enjoy our genuine interest and enthusiasm. We discovered new delicacies and soon-to-be favorites, many of which wound up on the dinner platter. Leave your always-connected-but-rarely-connecting 21st Century self at the door of this small, magical space and savor what M’Tucci’s has to offer.

Had the pork loin sandwich overall was ok restaurant price fast food taste, my suggestion: Upgrade the bun(bun was generic) Upgrade the Pork loin. was super thin and breading over powered it Upgrade the green Chile. Had no heat of flavor Horseradish chips tasted like regular potato chips. Oh and coffee was barley warm(easy fix) Will not eat here again.

I went to the deli tonight for some fine food & wine. Shawn advised me that they had pared down their charcuterie board for a one-person appetite and I was delighted to sample it. It was amazing with the meat, cheese, peppers, bread, olive tapenade and tomato jam. So many flavors on one board. These guys are exceptional. I finished the whole thing and this time, didn’t have room for dessert. But I can hear that jalapeño lime gelato calling my name. Did you know they make their own cheesecake? Of course you did. It’s on my bucket list…

I guess I’m the oddball here. This review is mainly based on service. I’ll start with the food. I would definitely give it 3 stars. This is purely my opinion, so I’ll break it down: I ordered my toddler the charcuterie plate because she loves salami and cheese. Those were great! The side of pesto wasn’t strong at all and the olive tapenade wasn’t anything to write home about – then again, I love Greek olives and these didn’t have a strong taste. I couldn’t place the olive, to be honest. You could have told me it was eggplant and I would have been satisfied with the answer. I made my own sandwich and it was good. I enjoyed it. The Caesar salad is very anchovy in taste. It’s pretty much all anchovy. I love anchovies with my Caesar, but I’m one of those that enjoy loads of garlic. This one didn’t have it – all anchovy. And here is where the review goes awry. I’ll just bullet point to make it easier: –while the waitress was pleasant, I had to wait 15 minutes, at least, for my glass of wine. I asked twice about it. Others that came after were served their drinks – and there’s nothing worse than seeing other customers served while you’re waiting. There was a total of four tables. Not too busy. –never got my water. Came after my wine. –the table next to me had FABULOUS service. I knew the special was oysters because I was eavesdropping and heard my waitress telling them. I also knew there was a prix fix menu because she showed them and explained it to them! I didn’t know any of this. When I went inside to ask for that menu, I saw something I would have ordered for my daughter and I to share AND we would have received ice cream! –My Caesar salad I ordered wasn’t even on my plate. It was their orzo pasta. They had to bring it to me later. –One gentleman came out and told me the meal, salad, and wine were on the house. Ok. Great! Thank you. I wasn’t expecting anything. –Another gentleman came out and apologized for everything. When I told him I would have ordered from the prix fix menu so my daughter could have had their gelato, he offered to bring her some. Again. Thank you. –My bill comes and only my wine and gelato that were offered aren’t on my menu. Huh? I ask the waitress for confirmation since there were two different men that came to my table. She returns and tells me that they informed me only the wine and gelato would be removed. I tried explaining to her what happened and she said«it’s whatever. I just took off your meal.» Then she spun around and walked to another table. I believe I was one of those tables that one small thing happened and everything just snowballed after that. It happens. I get it. But the miscommunication about my bill, my wine(apparently they ran out and had to go to their next door restaurant to get it, but they were busy and behind – why couldn’t someone tell me my wine would be 10 minutes? I would have been fine with that), and the waitress being short and rude at the end, left a bad taste in my mouth… one worse than the anchovies on my Caesar. I do hope this was just a bad day. I’d really want to do a girls’ night with wine and nosh plates. I’ll wait a bit so they can work out the kinks, though.

Went back for dinner and everything was just as good. Except … please don’t bring the 2nd course when I’m still eating the first. Its not cool to slide the plate I’m eating off of to the side so you can put down another one. Seriously. Stop doing this. Just stop it.

One word: yum! I have been exploring all of the restaurants in my new work neighborhood and decided to give this place a shot after reading the excellent reviews about it here on Unilocal. It was actually a bit different than I expected. I expected to order at the counter and sit but rather this place is a full service restaurant where you sit to order. Now on to the food, I ordered a sandwich(can’t recall the name) with Italian meats. I was a bit shocked initially because it looked small but boy was I mistake. I eat a lot and that sandwich filled me pleasantly. It came with a side of roasted potatoes that were to die for. And that sandwich was also delicious. The only complaint was that the prices are a bit steep. So if you’re in the neighborhood, definitely give this place a try; I highly recommend this place.

The best deli in Albuquerque that I’ve found! The atmosphere of this deli is amazing, and the staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You can expect some delicious fresh baked breads, cheeses that are phenomenal, and other deli toppings that are unique and wonderful. Try the onions that they have in some sort of marinade, they are SOGOOD. Every bread in the deli that I’ve had has been fantastic, and you can expect a lot of advice on how to make it even more delicious with varying olive oils and other toppings. If you can get it, they also make a caprese sandwich that is unbelievable. They always have local beers and other drinks that go well with all their foods and the staff will strive to make sure you love your experience. Don’t pass up on this place!

Abq, Local, N.M. This is a great place to get Italian sandwiches, and the best cannoli in town. They also have Italian Charcuterie Boards which I plan on trying my next visit. The young lady sever named Taña was a big help and the questions I had about the menu she had an answer. I had the Muffuletta sandwich with the oven roasted potatoes. I loved it. To try and describe the flavors is next to impossible. Tastebud explosion. The presentation of the food was like a five star restaurant although it is a small deli it takes you to a place in Italy.

Felt like I was back in Little Italy in Baltimore for a moment! This is a wonderful Italian Bistro hidden in Albuquerque! The staff are extremely friendly and the food is amazing! This will definitely become a place we visit often. Whether it is for wine tasting, lunch, or to pick up some prosciutto or other Italian favorites for later! I would highly recommend their Italian BLT. It was such a nice and refreshing surprise to have the tomato jam instead of a tomato. Plus the orzo salad was an excellent choice of a side. It is obvious they take great care with keeping the real Italian tradition alive! This is a «must» if your in the Albuquerque area!

If your looking for authentic Italian gourmet sandwiches you must stop in at the picturesque and charming M’Tucci’s Italian Market & Deli. We stopped in to see if this was the real deal in authentic Italian meats, and breads and my love of Olive Oil and let’s just say we hit the jackpot. We decided to order a Muffuletta to share and boy we were definitely in for quite the foodie fantasy… I literally crave this flavorful & incredibly mouthwatering sandwich on a daily basis. I cannot express how authentic & lovely it is. A beautiful selection of fresh meats, cheese and breads and my love of Olive Oil could keep me there for days. The place is rather modest in size so you may not get a chance to dine in and eat but you can always carry out, the customer service has been wonderful on all 4 visits, I would say that the sandwich«Muffuletta» on this last visit was a bit skimpy on the meat this time, but everyone has there off days :) This is definitely a first class Market & Deli establishment that deserves praise for I know not to mess around when it comes to searching for«out-of-this-world» sandwiches~~~ M’Tucci’s is «King» ~~Ciao

I can’t say enough great things about M’tucci’s Deli. This place is just awesome! It’s like no other deli in Albuquerque. And can I just mention that it is a blessing to the West side? Everything is homemade. They have a wonderful selection of meats, including uncommon meats like lamb sausage. You can pop in and grab some bread, some delicious meat, or yummy sides including orzo salad or potatoes. They have a small menu, but everything on it is thoughtful and expertly created. I’ve tried pretty much all of the sandwiches and they are so high quality and fresh… the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Let’s start with the bread. The bread at a deli is very important. It is the base of a wonderful or not so great sandwich. The bread at M’tucci’s is solid. It doesn’t fall apart… it’s just that expertly created. The meats are just as good. And the sandwich toppings are creative and well executed. This all adds up to an excellent sandwich. The service is really good as well. The staff is friendly and likeable. Savannah is there often when we go. She is friendly and easy to talk to. They also know their food and drinks. Speaking of drinks, the selection of wine is also noteworthy. I had a really nice glass of Pinot noir with my meal once. Other times. I’ve had the espresso or café Americano. It’s so beautifully created! All this being said, don’t go in expecting to pay Subway prices. You are paying for quality, time, effort, and all around wonderful ingredients at M’tucci’s deli. just like at their sister restaurant a few doors down(M’tucci’s Italian restaurant). Stop by and treat yourself to something delightful to those tastebuds! You are going to have a fantastic meal!

Wow wow wowzers! This is Italian Deli at its finest. No really this place is legit! M’Tuccis is a rare find in the southwest but could compete with New York’s finest! All of the charcuterie staples mixed with amazing sandwiches. They also have pasta dishes that will be getting tasted in the return visit. The only downfall is the size. Only four small tables but you can always get carry out. They also sell made in house breads, meats, imported pasta, and spices. This may be the new goto place! This place is like a fine wine it just keeps getting better with age! They also have their license to cure their own meats. Now serving Beer & Wine! Breweries include Up Slope, Marble, La Cumbre

Being an Italian in the 505 is rough, yo. No one knows what good pastrami is, you can’t find the ingredients to make grandma’s recipe, and if you ask about charcuterie you get the crazy eye. This place is uhmayzing. Seating is limited, but you can grab it to go too. The sourdough bread is perfectly crusted, soft on the inside and super tasty. They have REAL pastrami. The kind that’s cured perfectly and so good you could eat it till you popped. They make bread, cheese, and meats in house. They have all the fixings you could possibly want, and you won’t find anything else like it in this town. Staff is super friendly and helpful, if you aren’t sure what to order they are glad to give suggestions. Try this little spot out; it needs to stay here!

I stopped in for the unveiling of the market and deli and was very impressed. Lot’s of different meats, cheeses, olives, and breads were spread out in the front area of the restaurant and in the kitchen. It was fun to see what the new deli has to offer. The food was delicious. They also have olive oils and balsamic vinegars available to purchase in reusable bottles. I was able to review the menu while there, so I called in an order a few days later. I had the muffaletta sandwich with orzo pasta salad. It is the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! It is a large serving and worth the cost. The meats and bread were fresh and full of flavor. The tapenade adds the perfect kick. I will of course be back to try other menu items.
