Food just OK. Typical gyro. I ordered through grub hub. I am in town on business and staying at a hotel. The delivery driver refused to deliver to the room and told me he was not«room service.» Poor attitude completely ruined the meal. I will not order from there again while I am here and don’t suggest anyone else order from here either. Really poor customer service.

I stopped into this place today to give it a try for lunch I was greeted by a young man named Peter who purchased the business a couple of years ago. And change the name to Quincy station. I don’t care about the name change and I never ate there under the old owner but I can tell you it’s one of the best gyros I’ve ever had in my entire life. The meat was plentiful and delicious the tysaki(spelled incorrectly I’m sure) was wonderful and the pita was fresh. If the other food offerings are as good as the gyro you gotta go check this place out I will certainly be back again.

I originally strolled in here because of its convenient location and was pleasantly surprised. The food here is pretty good and the staff are always super friendly. The have a variety of options to choose from(burgers, hotdogs, fries etc) but they’re known for their gyros. The prices are fair and affordable. This is a nice little hidden gem. Highly recommend.

I went here for lunch today. I had the lamb/beef gyro and it was very good. There wasn’t parking outside, so I parked down the street and it was short walk. The staff were friendly and it was clean. There is not a lot of room to sit down and eat, so I took my gyro to go. I didn’t have to wait too long for it to be ready. I paid with cash but saw a sign on the door saying that they take credit cards. I, also, heard them mention that they deliver.

This Place Rocks!!! I recently moved to Albany from Rochester and stopped by Quincy Gyro Station after reading some of their reviews on Unilocal. I will definitely be going back. I got the classic gyro-slices of spiced beef/lamb with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and taziki sauce. It was awesome; the meat was flavorful and very tender and the veggies were crisp and fresh. While I waited for my food, I chatted with the dudes running the place and they were really nice. This place gets extra points because as I was talking to the guy behind the counter, I noticed that the cooler was spotless clean. Although it is kind of small-just a tiny open kitchen with a couple of stools — it’s not uncomfortable, but I’m guessing that most customers take their orders to go. In addition to several varieties of gyros, Quincy’s Gyro Station serves hot dogs, burgers, a variety of sides, drinks and desserts-all of which I look forward to trying in the near future!

If you are looking for microwaved gyros this is your spot. All of the food comes straight out of industrial Cisco food trucks. Terrible unprofessional owners. Tied up in other affairs that shouldn’t carry over to their gross food place. Terrible quality. Take your business elsewhere. Tell your friends.

Hit up My Gyro Station on Lark Street tonight with my better half. No parking really. There’s a bus only lane that you can park in, but it wouldn’t be wise to leave your car there. Bring a friend and have your friend sit in the car while you go inside. This place is totally small, like tiny, not really a restaurant. I’ve been in closets bigger than this! Don’t let that scare you though as the owner is super nice and friendly and your food will be served fresh and hot. This place would be super suitable for a late night food binge, especially after a few drinky drinks. They are open late till like midnight. Paid in cash so not sure if they take credit cards, sorry. Should have asked. Pretty limited Greek fare. This place is all about gyros and falafel. No souvlaki here. They do a beef/lamb gyro and then a chicken one. Tried one of each. The beef/lamb is way better… more seasoning, more flavorful. The tzatziki sauce has a really nice zing to it that caught me off guard at first, but I really liked it. Super fresh veggies on the gyro(raw red onion, tomato, and lettuce), bundled in a nicely warmed/grilled pita. No feta available, which is fine for my gyros. Price after tax is 7 bucks per gyro. Bottled sodas etc. in the fridge, no fountain drinks here. They offer free delivery as well! We will definitely be back another time, but will stick with the beef/lamb gyro. See my pics, yo.

I ordered a falafel gyro on GrubHub with a few specific requests(extra sauce, sauteed onions vs. raw, delayed pick-up time), and they nailed every single one. I’ve not always had the best experience with places«getting» the message on specific requests before — but these guys were on it. Plus, the food was decent and cheap. Definitely going to remember this for lunch takeout.

Excellent gyros and amazing prices! $ 5.99 for a gyro, $ 2 extra for fires and a drink. The place is SMALL, so take out is preferred, although my boyfriend and I sat on the 2 stools in the window. The meat was sliced thick and perfectly seasoned. The owner was also really friendly. Will be returning.

Visited about a month ago… the same day in fact that the restaurant came under new ownership. In fact, since the guy had just bought the place, we got the last gyros for the day, since he hadn’t put in a new food order yet! In any case, I never had gone under the previous owner. But I am a discerning eater of gyros/doner. I thought the gyro at the Station was pretty good. filling, hot of the grill, and good pita. My only suggestion would be to make like a spicy tzatziki sauce to give things some zing.

Great falafel pita. Lots of falafel inside, good amount of sauce, lettuce, tomato, raw onions(sometimes too much onion). The pita is thick and delicious. I used to always go to Mamoun’s, which is also very good, but their falafel wrap is smaller and comes in a thinner little half-pouch pita thingy. MGS is a better value. I do recommend Mamoun’s for a sit-down dinner, but I’ll save that for the Mamoun’s review. MGS is perfect for a grab-and-go lunch; it’s a nice change from pizza, Chinese, and fast food. There’s no parking on Lark in front of the shop, so I always call in my order and then just pull up in front for a minute to go inside and get it.

I got the falafel and my boyfriend the original gyro, both of which definitely hit the spot. By no means was it the best falafel or gyro either of us have ever had, but they were big and at $ 5 each, how can you complain? Both came with the traditional toppings — tomato, onion, lettuce and tzatziki sauce. You can add hot sauce, if you’d like. We ordered some fries to go with them, which were nothing special but we got a generous portion. As mentioned before, the place is tiny and pretty much only a carry-out place. They have a couple stools, but I’d rather take my food home(or the park) to eat. The staff is very friendly! This will for sure be the go-to spot when we are craving some hearty Greek fast food.

Best falafel I’ve had in Albany. Been looking for a place like this for a WHILE. Everyone working there was super friendly, my wrap was cooked up quickly while i waited, wrapped nicely, and was just $ 5 for a pretty big wrap. Check em out. (also, don’t expect to sit down and eat, the place is the size of your closet… it’s pretty much take-out only. They have a few stools, if you want to sit 4 feet from the grill…)

the chicken gyro for $ 5 was fine. It’s tiny and smoky inside, so it’s mainly a take out joint.

LOVEDIT!!! Small, intimate, safe. Friendly. AMAZINGFOOD The standard Gyro was the best I’ve had ever. The Greek cook was adorable; for a fat hairy guy. Like a teddy bear cooking gyros. The food was amazing, the pita was warmed up on the grill, the meat was freshly sliced off of the spinning thing, and the Tzatziki sauce was perfectly seasoned with cucumber and whatnot. I’ve had the gyros in NYC, and these guys made them better. I ate one there and took two home with me… gyros, not Greeks. I will pick one up every time I am on Lark Street. It was lacking seating room, but that just meant that you shouldn’t make it an afternoon sitting at the gyro station. It’s grab and go. The place was clean and tidy. Not terrifying at all, considering Lark Street can be hit or miss on cleanliness, especially the closer you get to Washington and the bus stops.

3.5 Stars Gyro rounded to 4 cause of awesome value. Gyro was pretty strong, lacked a little tzatziki but had plenty of Gyro meat plus the pita was warmed up on the grill. Co-worker got Chicken gyro, she liked it. There is no room inside, it’s pretty much take out(4 stools and tight inside).

It’s fast. It’s cheap. It’s falafel and gyro, enough said?
