Drinks come a little slow and are a bit sweet; tapioca is flavorless but it’s fine.

Guest reviewer, this store is not only a boba place but also has a wide verity of herbs. I order one boba and it took a little while to make and the product was overly sweet and there was no trace of real fruit in it at all. There are a lot of options and variety.

I really don’t want to say anything bad about this place because the lady that runs the boba place really puts a lot of effort into making the drinks well. With that said, she is the only lady making the drinks and the amount of time it takes to get one bubble tea drink let’s you know this. We ordered 2 thai milk tea drinks with boba(total came out to $ 6.50), not bad at all. However, it took about 20 minutes for us to get our drinks. I’m not sure what exactly she does differently that makes it take a lot longer to make the drink, but it’s definitely the longest I’ve waited for a bubble tea drink where we were the only ones in the store. The thai milk tea turned out fine. I don’t know if I actually like that she adds the ice at the end just because I like my boba more chilled than not. But the tea taste was really good. The boba was nice and chewy as well. Not much to complain about other than the service time and that it’s a little awkward watching her make the drink. It’s almost like she’s trying to perfect it, but it’s not perfection. Would I come back here? Most likely not because I feel like there are better boba places around. But I don’t hate it! Cash only!

I’m not sure if this place and the herbalist is a joint business, but I am just going to assume that it is. I visited this location twice, once just to check it out and grab a smoothie and once to get Oriental Medical herbs. The people are nice, and the acupuncturist/herbalist is very efficient in quickly packaging herbs. The price is very good as well. I had a smoothie here, it was as good as the average around here but with a lower price point. Overall this is a very convenient location with a large selection of herbs, drinks, and various Chinese remedies. If you are Asian, the smell is probably nostalgic more than anything, I find it pleasant.

Came here and had a mango tea with aloe. My tea had basically no ice in it and it was quite sweet. The employee didn’t seem particular happy to be there either.

Decent flavor, reasonably priced(about $ 3 – 4 for a cup of boba), good location(near the taco truck at hotsy totsy), large menu given the location. Tea is quite sweet. They were out of boba when we got there at 8pm, close to closing time, so we had pudding instead. Cash only. There’s a buy 9 get the 10th free punch card. Don’t mind the heavy Chinese herb smell while you wait in the shop.

The lady has become less and less nice with the visits. The tea is still very sweet(except the strawberry one that I have had once and which was well balanced). One day, the lady told me they ran out of the regular bubbles so she said they had only the small ones. Same price. Ended up not liking it. Also, you pay 50 cent extra to get boba and they end up giving you so FEW of them you wonder why you even paid for it. This is really frustrating and one of the main reasons I probably won;t go anymore. If they are going to make you pay extra for something(which should be inclluded in the price in the first place, I mean who buys those drinks withOUT boba?), they should not be cheap or stingy about it.

It was alright. The price was definitely the best thing about the place. I had a Taro Milk Smoothie. It wasn’t sweet enough for me. The pearls were a little harder than I’m use to and had no flavor which was disappointing. I wont be back. I’d rather drive the extra couple of miles to get Quickly or Sweethearts.

Surprisingly, I’ve never been here until recently, despite living just a couple blocks away. After school, I told my friend that I was craving milk tea and didn’t want to walk very far for it. She recommended Fruitilicious and it is definitely at a very convenient spot on San Pablo. She told me in advance that it was a Chinese herbal shop as well, but I was still a little bit surprised upon first walking in. Don’t let that intimidate you, however. Their drinks are great. They have a wide selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. She ordered a regular milk tea while I ordered coffee milk tea with pearls. Both were very delicious and at perfect consistency and sweetness. The person who served us also handed me a frequent buyer card that allows a free drink after 9 purchases. We were in and out within three minutes – everything went very quickly, which is great. The only thing you might want to be aware of is that there aren’t very many spots for sitting. However, that’s not a big deal to me and I’ll definitely be coming here again in the future.

This place is so beautiful and real. They sell boba tea in addition to Chinese herbs. 4 days a week(Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday), an acupuncturist is here to prescribe herbs and give acupuncture. His rates are totally fair: $ 15 for herbal consultation and $ 45 for acupuncture! The shop owner told me that the acupuncturist was a doctor in China for 40 years. He doesn’t speak English, which I think is great. He’s the real thing. What he does is calls a woman who translates for him. Or in my case, I communicated with him via Google Translate. It worked. I got acupuncture and left with bags of herbals for tea. They have the clay pots to cook tea for only $ 12.99, which is a good deal. The last one I bought in LA was $ 25+. Don’t leave without buying Prince of Peace ginger chews ;)

It was my first time here and was afraid the drinks would not be good, so I was being ‘safe’ in my ordering. I ordered basic milk tea with grass jelly($ 2.75). Less chance of getting a powdery taste from a flavored milk tea and bad tapioca jelly. The milk tea with grass jelly turned out to be delicious! A strong real tea taste and the perfect sweetness and the grass jelly pieces were the right size and easy to slurp. Maybe I will have more confidence to try other flavors next time and it’s a block away from where I live :)

Fruitlicious shares the commercial space with a chinese herbalist. herbs can be smelled thruout the shop. limited supplies of chinese canned groceries also available. menu: smoothies, milk teas, teas, coffee, etc. drink: milk green tea(2.5) –milk had no omph, added nothing to the drink. –strong tea taste, no ice a plus –skipped boba. 3 stars. milk m.i.a. drips: –fast service, no one around. –few tables for sitting.(if one can stand the herbal smell). –ok but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. –milk tea just average for the price.

Me and my roommate noticed this place driving down San Pablo. We decided to try it. It was empty inside and the server was very quite when speaking. We ordered three drinks. Rose, Almond, and Thai milk tea. All three of them were super sweet! We took one sip and couldn’t finish the rest. And we just decided to throw the third drink away. Well… our fault we should of asked of less sweet. We the next day we decided to try it again. We walked in and three people just stared at us. Not even a hello. This time we ordered two drinks and specifically asked for less sweet(¼ the sugar). The server confirmed with us and made our drinks. We tried it and it was still super sweet! One sip and we had to throw away the drink! I just don’t see myself coming back to try this place again. It seemed like everything was made from powdered instead of brewed tea. Overall: I do not recommend this place for milk tea. It’s like instant diabetes.

This is not just a boba tea shop, it also has a Chinese herbalist and a selection of imported Chinese sundries. We had 3 bobas amongst the 3 of us: 1 coffee, 1 black sesame milk boba tea and a fruit one for the kids to share. All were super yummy. The fruit one was not too sweet, just perfect. It was my first time having a black sesame milk boba tea and it was Delish! Creamy and sesame-y just like the sesame chinese dessert soups. I found the price point to be pretty good. Hope this place does well! I will definitely be backl!

They have the most delicious Thai Iced tea with pearls I’ve ever had. They make the tea fresh, not too sweet, and the boba is thick and chewy and unlike any other I’ve ever had. I’m still slightly uncomfortable to go in as there is rarely another customer in there, and the lady behind the counter doesn’t say anything, but she makes me the best boba with Thai Iced tea that I’ll always keep coming back. They also have stamps so you get a free drink after you buy 9.

Pearl drinks = very yes. Some(milk tea, etc.) are HALF the price as the Tay Tah Café pearl drinks, and every bit as good. In fact, the tapioca here is better — perfect consistency every time. Smoothies not overly sweet — which is how I like them. But for me it’s really about the pearl drinks. Starting at two bucks for specials!!!
