Good old cheeseburgers(with bacon and fries) as always, I love coming here when I’m craving for a burger, it can be busy during the evening but for the most time, the wait is short. Free peanuts while you wait for the food too, the cashier was a little unfriendly but at least everything else was good, will be back! :)

I have been to quite a few Fiveguys burger joints in the past. This one, well it was decent fast service. The cashier was on the grumpy side of the spectrum of customer service. Possibly she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The food came out good. Other employees were cheerful but just that one had a sour puss attitude. The restaurant was not quite clean. The tables were greasy, peanut shells all over the floors kind of nasty. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this location anytime soon again. It was just meh for me.

I’m distressed that we have to give a minimum of one star. Zero. Zilch. Ningunos stars might be more indicative of our experience here. I’ve eaten at other 5 Guys that rated a few stars at least, pretty good burgers. I got a Pathetic Burger. Ordered the regular hamburger with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. What I received a good 10+ minutes later were two dry, overcooked cadaver-excuses for a fine beef patty tossed between a dry bun. Nothing else. Her BLT featured a thin slice of lettuce, no tomato. The fries were so greasy they squirmed out of our fingers. A steal for $ 22. Only we were on the wrong side of the stealing. Will never go there again.

The two stars are for cleanliness. With few customers on a Thursday afternoon several dirty tables and a really dirty floor and too cold to go outside and eat the 5 – 6 staff behind the counter although very nice weren’t real focused on what was going on in the customer side of their restaurant. I was there for about 30 mins and only one table got cleaned and the floor was ignored.

This is a typical Five Guys restaurant. It tends to be busy around dinner time when I pass by but the workers tend to be quick. The only hold up seems to be the customers who are trying to figure out what they want on their burgers or who are asking why there are boxes of free peanuts laying around. I love getting a little cheeseburger which I can add sautéed mushrooms to and their little Cajun fries. They call these sizes little but they definitely fill me up. The fries are put into a paper cup but the worker normally puts in a nice healthy additional scoop into the bag so that it could be enough to feed two slightly hungry people. The Cajun fries can get a bit on the salty side but I love them anyhow. Five Guys is a bit more expensive than In n Out but the restaurant is clean and I feel like I’m normally in and out of it with my to go order within 10 minutes of ordering. Five Guys does not, however, serve milkshakes which is a let down since it goes so well with burgers and fries. That’s why I’m giving a 4 instead of 5 star review.

Always great food here, but my review is for the service tonight. Shabrina was helping us at the register and had an awesome personality! She put a smile on our faces tonight Will keep coming back for the great food and the great people who work here.

I paid $ 14 for a bland burger and ridiculously soggy bag of fries. Oh, and that came with snark and attitude from the staff. No napkins included — in fact they were out and weren’t in a hurry to supply them to the waiting customers. Their bathrooms are disgusting.

I love this place everytime I go! They are always polite and the amount of fries you get is insane:)))

Five Guys is the East Coast’s entry to the burger battle taking on the likes of In-N-Out, Smash Burger, Umami Burger, Super Duper and Fat Burger. Finally, I had the chance to check out the Five Guys burger at this South Shore location. The location has ample seating inside and well as in their patio area. The menu board offerings include burgers, hot dogs, and grilled sandwiches and fries. The 100% beef with no fillers and preservatives is cooked«Juicy and Well-Done». Toppings? They’re complementary and if you choose«All the Way», you get lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, ketchup and mustard and if you choose«Everything», you also get relish, onions, jalapeño peppers, A1 steak sauce, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce. Came here for the burger and my order was: Regular Bacon Burger«All the Way» less onions — comes wrapped in foil. The buns do come grilled. The two patties were seasoned, but they were cooked«well-done» as advertised. Felt the beef was a little too well-done and the overall burger was on the greasier side. Regular Fries — Served in a paper cup, but you do get a large portion as a lot of fries were in the bottom of the brown paper bag of your order. The steak-cut fries were not seasoned with salt. So you need to add it on your own and of course dip ‘em in ketchup. Overall, good burger, but I would say I’ve had better ones at some of its competitors. I do like that you can nosh on peanuts while you wait for your order and the large choice of condiments for your burger.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. I came here with my niece because she was hungry. She ordered the little cheeseburger and a little fries along with a soda. The totally was almost 12 dollars. The portions are big. Although they are«little» they are quite big. She didn’t end up finishing everything. I love five guys because you can select whatever you like, mushrooms, grilled onions, after adding all those, the burger becomes pretty big! The unfortunate part is that they do not have ranch. I absolutely LOVE ranch with my fries and unfortunately all chains do not have it. But they do have plenty of free peanuts! Although I like to argue that their fries and peanuts are heavily salted.

Visit date: July 3, 2015 What I had: Fries, junior cheeseburger. First time? Yes. As expected, Five Guys is just an average burger, flavor wise at least. Size wise — This burger was gigantic, at least four inches tall, and we got the junior size, too. You definitely get your monies worth in calories. You can customize your burger with their selection of fixin’s. However, don’t expect the cashier to guide you in the process. They were a bit knowledge lacking(they couldn’t even tell me how heavy the meat patties were). In our confusion we simply ordered our burgers«with everything.» The meat patty was cooked well. The sauteed mushrooms added a nice texture. The fries are steak cut and a bit under seasoned. Just add ketchup. Like the burger, the fries are served in big portions. You know that feeling you get when you finish your fries and you wish you had more? At Five Guys, you just need to look at the bottom of your bag to find more fries! There are tables for indoor dining, but I suggest taking your food outside unless you want to smell like fried food. The ventilation isn’t all that great at this location.

I prefer this place over in and out burgers any day!!! :) I think their patties taste better and I like the variety of burger toppings. You have to get the double patty with cheese. I don’t like how in and out burgers are so paperthin and have no taste. PROS: flavorful burgers, variety of burger toppings, thick fresh hot fries, excellent and fast service, clean inside, always taste consistent here, and overall better burger. CONS: The only thing I can think of would be to have a bigger space inside. But I have nothing else negative to say.

Quickly… Name a better burger in Alameda. Maybe the place that starts with a H___on the West Side. I brought my mom and brother over here for burgers and fries. The burger was outstanding, it was a double burger for $ 6.00 with all of the sides in it that you could think of. Moist, juicy and full of flavor. Tomato, Grilled onions, mushrooms, what more could you ask for. The fries were ok, maybe they were sitting a little to long. Five guys offers peanuts in the shell while you wait for your burger. Definitely returning.

The one star is for how unorganized the staff is and how the girl spilled my bag of fries and just gave me whatever was left in the bag. Firstly everyone behind the counter were running around like their heads were cut off. They were messing up orders; forgetting burgers, giving wrong burgers to be wrong people, etc. I don’t think there were any supervisors or managers working at the time, if so they weren’t managing the staff well at all. Fortunately for me I only ordered a large side of fries so I didn’t have to deal with the frustration of my order being fouled up, so I thought. I thought by ordering only fries that my number would be called faster. Apparently that wasn’t the case as I had to wait nearly 10 min just to get fries. As my order is being grabbed by one of the staff she spills part of my fries onto the counter. She doesn’t bother to add more fries nor does she say anything but rather gives me a dumb stare like I didn’t just see that. I do love me a good five guys burger and fries but I’d rather get it at another location.

I think I’ve reviewed 5 Guys before, but I can’t remember, so here we go. Their fries are good(Cajun are better), their burgers are satisfying, and their peanuts are plentiful. I can’t help but compare them to In-N-Out. So here’s the analysis: Fries: Not even close… way better, even without the Cajun seasoning. Burger: Not as good as the Double-Double. BUT way more opportunities for customization, so could outscore its competition if you’re in the mood for say, a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Jalapenos and Grilled Onions? Seating: Pretty close. Although this one does have a fire pit where you can sit by(although it’s probably not TECHNICALLY5-Guys Seating…) So I guess it depends what you’re in the mood for…

Sorry, nothing special. Its great you get to pick your condiments but still disappointed. Burgers were bland, no seasoning and fries! Can it get any greasier??? Plus size, customer service was excellent!

I love 5 Guys. :) They are the only burger joint(that I know of) apart from In-n-Out Burger that has the choice of a lettuce wrap instead of a regular hamburger bun. Kudos to that! I’ll keep coming back for your lettuce wrapped bacon burger. :) The lines are usually not long and the staff is very efficient, friendly and attentive(there’s constantly someone who takes the trash or sweeps the floor). The place is big enough and has outdoor seating as well. The only thing that I don’t like is the waiting time. I know they make everything fresh and on spot(patties) and that it takes time, but when you’re hungry it’s still a heck of a wait. You do have tons of peanuts to eat in the meanwhile, if you’re a fan/not allergic.

Five Guys and I met in New York. Although it was not love at first bite, we had our moments. I liked how you can pretty much add anything to the burger without the additional costs. The jalapenos if you want to spice it up. The mushrooms for extra texture. The no mayo and cheese if you are on a diet. The small cheeseburger is a perfect size, the bigger cheeseburger if you are getting them gains. My mom loves this places since she loves condiments and filling her burger with as many veggies as possible. But sometimes, I just like things plain and simple. I will forever be In N’ Out girl. But Five Guys is a close second. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the diner smell that seeps onto your clothes and hair after you dine-in.

I’ve had burgers from this spot and several others and the burgers are good but not the best to me. Its nice that you can add all the toppings you want without getting charged extra. Burgers are pretty big and will fill you up good. I really loved their fries. I’m not a big fan of Five Guys Burgers and as I mentioned about. Their burger are good and I do come back from time to time. I don’t like how they don’t have combo options which would be nice.

I’m thinking this place could be a little quicker getting their orders out to the customers. The place is busy and the staff are nice. Burgers are okay and the spicy fries rock. I just can’t imagine having to dish out $ 15 – 17 bucks for a burger, fries, and a drink and then having to wait for more time than necessary to get them. The staff could also use some faster reaction time to see that their tables need to be cleaned as the customers are leaving. Not when they are asked to clean them. I will give them an A+ for the free peanuts! Such an awesome perk for customers(and then some). I even saw a homeless person come in, ask for a bag, filled it with the peanuts, and leave without ordering a burger or menu item. Just nuts.
