I’ll admit I was a bit overwhelmed when I walked in. I had to let the next few groups go ahead of me because I was like a deer in the headlights reading the menu. It was a little confusing to me because of all the unique names of the food items. I ended up getting a homewrecker jr, which was a burrito, with chicken, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, beans, rice, cheese, and guac. I opted for no sour cream. It was so good, and HUGE(Hey, I thought I ordered the junior!?) I still managed to eat the whole burrito, since that was my first meal of the day at around 1:30pm. I got some queso on the side, but ended up eating it with my free tortilla chips, because I was feeling especially cheesy that day. On top of all of that, I got an additional discount because I’m a military brat. Score! Now that I know what I’m doing, I will definitely be back next time I have a day of shopping at Pearlridge. Fast food without the greasy fast food feeling.

Okay I love this place! Its fresh enough food in a cafeteria type assembly line, you tell them what you want, you can add more on. I’ve gotten the burritos, a quesadilla and tacos and have enjoyed them all. They are fast, the people are friendly enough, they do always mention the military discount to me in case but of course I decline since I’m not. I like their chips and the fact they have about 4 salsas by the drink dispensers that you can pick which one you want. I have to say, they advertise their queso… no bueno. I didn’t really care for it. I’m not really sure what it was about it but when it sat the entire top got hard very quickly… hahha I usually find seating easily here as well, but table turnover is fairly quick here and sometimes tables are still dirty from the last patron.

Welcome to Moe’s! Actually, I think they can do without the greeting but the food is great… especially their massive«Homewrecker». I try to eat there vice takeout because of the various tasty chip salsas they have in their condiment/salsa cart. The take out cups are too small for… well, take out thus you need to stay there to enjoy the salsas or uses lots of tiny cups and hope they don’t leak on the way home or back to work.

I’ve come to this place many of times to give this place a five star rating. I always leave this place satisfied after eating here. There is never a line whenever we come, or if there is its only a couple minute wait. Its located conveniently inside uptown Pearlridge mall, perfect after a day of shopping or before, or if you are just in a the mood for mexican. My all-time favorite is the taco salad with chicken. It is served in a shell topped with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, olives and cilantro. I particularly love their chicken, I have never been disappointed and am glad they haven’t changed one bit. Their chicken little chunks of white meat but soft enough that it is almost like it’s shredded. If I am not in the mood for a salad I usually order the john cocostan, which is their quesadilla, with chicken of course. You can put pretty much anything you want inside and they put in on the grill before they serve it to you. As always, chips and salsa are free. They have two types of salsa at their self-serve salsa bar. They used to have their verde salsa(green), but they discontinued it a while ago.

Moe’s is the best thing next to Chipotle’s.(If any of the locals have ever been to a Chipotle) It’s hard finding a good quality Mexican restaurant in Hawaii. I always order the Homewrecker or the Homewrecker Jr. Been meaning to try the other food offered on the menu. The staff is very nice, and free chips and salsa are offered wth every meal. Military discount is everyday. Yay! Portions are definitely filling. An OK seating area, definitely a place to try if you’re craving Mexican food!

Tucked in the corner of Pearlridge mall next to TJ Maxx is this little gem. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside and they have a good amount of seating. It’s neat how their service is like Subway and you get to choose what sauces and vegetables you want in your tacos, nachos, quesadilla, etc. I didn’t know what to do as it was my first time, but the workers were friendly and helpful. My parents had the nachos and I had the Chicken Club Quesadilla, both was really good! It’s different from my Taco Bell runs. Ingredients are fresh and your food is made to order right in front of you. The portion, especially the nachos are big and I love how they give free chips with your quesadilla! They also have a salsa bar with different choices of salsa for your chips for free! I wish they had shredded beef though and maybe fish as an option on their menu. Their chicken and steak are good and tasty though. I really like it here and will try to come more often. I’m glad to find a new spot for my Mexican food cravings.

As far as fast food Mexican joints go, this one of the best that I’ve had on the island, and it’s really because of the variety and quality of their toppings/fillings. I love that they have grilled onions and peppers and fresh jalapeño.their guacamole is not bad either. They also have great chips and salsa that come with your order. However, I’ve never seen a Mexican restaurant so stingy with it’s toppings like this place is. I ordered a veggie jr. burrito, and they literally put maybe a tablespoon of beans and a tablespoon of rice. I went there twice and both times, it was the same thing. I added pretty much every veggie I could after that, and I still ended up with a tiny burrito that had a whole clump of folded tortilla at the end because they didn’t fill it as much as it could have been. The regular burrito has a bit more filling, but it’s still quite smaller than other fast food Mexican places like Taco Del Mar. When I have gone to Taco Del Mar, they would always give a little extra rice and beans if I ordered a vegetarian burrito. I wish Moe’s would do the same. Great taste, but poor value.

My husband and I probably hit up Moes every couple weeks. The staff here is pretty nice and they get you through the line quickly. We have never had a problem with the food, either. Everything tastes great. The best part is the 10% military discount they have everyday.

Every time I go to pearl ridge mall I stop at moes. Friendly atmosphere, good food and a good price. I wish they would update the booths, some of them are pretty wobbly but other than that it’s super great!

My husband and I LOVE everything about moe’s! Everytime we go we are treated like old friends! The people who work there are so nice. And the food is fantastic. Always fresh and a fantastic change the the normal food here. Highly recommended

I love Moe’s! I’ve only tried the chicken club quesadilla but it was soo good, I haven’t had the urge to order anything else. The portion size is good for two people to share, especially because you get the free chips and salsa on the side. I also loved trying out their different salsas. But hands down, their queso is bomb! I just can’t get enough. Anytime I’m at Pearlridge, I have to stop here.

If you like Chipotle then this is a good alternative for it but definitely NOT the same. It has the same concept though. But overall, it’s not the same great taste as chipotle. However, I do like the fact that you can make tacos, bowls, and taco salads(I don’t remember if you can make tacos and taco salad at chipotle) and with every food you get free chips on the side plus, there is a salsa bar. Chips aren’t lime flavored like the ones at chipotle. Overall, not a bad place to go. We got 2 burritos(and I squirted some lemon on it. That was good!) and a drink, all for the price of $ 20.

Man, I love Moe’s. This is the only one on the island so I don’t have many choices when I get that craving. The flavor is the same from the mainland one which is why it gets the four stars. The reason that it doesn’t get five stars is this particular location. They are very stingy on portions when compared to the mainland Moe’s and add on several extra charges for sauces and ingredients. $ 1 for sour cream and $ 0.50 for a sauce? Seems a bit excessive especially because my burrito is about half the size of the one I get at other locations.

Located in Pearlridge Mall, this place is a change of pace from the usual plate lunch, ramen, or fast food establishments in the area. They’ve got fajitas, burritos, nachos, and some bomb guacamole. And with every entrée ordered, you get free chips and salsa. They promote making their foods fresh. You can customize your order if there are certain veggies and things you’d prefer not to eat. I ordered the steak fajita. It comes 3 tortilla wraps. Not bad and quite filling. Not the greatest, but not bad either. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if I were having a craving and was in the area, I would stop by again. Enjoy.

Pro’s –food is decent(think commercial Mexican ie. Chipotle but not quite as good) –usually a clean place –workers have been friendly to me –easily accessible Cons –food is decent, but not exactly to die for(although I do know one person who loves it) I’d suggest this place to try for someone who really wants Mexican food and doesn’t mind the commercial taste. But I have spent time in Cali and I am in love with the ‘hole in the wall’ places/trucks that serve food I consider to be less commercial and more tasty(likely more unhealthy also). specifically their salad options are good, the burrito’s are decent. The chips and salsa are pretty good too. I’m not entirely sure but it seems as though they have two different salsa’s and one tastes much better than the other imo.

First timer, food was awesome. I had the chicken bowl and the boyfriend had a burrito. Sooo tasty. The three stars were for Service– It was quite empty when we walked in. The girl who did our order mumbled and we could hardly understand(there is a glass in front of us) and just pointed to the things to ask if we wanted it on our food. Later, I asked for a bag for my leftovers & she just pointed on the counter. Seems like these people do not enjoy what they do. When you go to a place for the first time, besides the taste of the food; service is something that helps decides if we should or shouldn’t come back again.

I really like going here with my family when we are out shopping at the Pearl Ridge center. The food is good, fast Mexican-American style, think Chipotle but with smaller burritos, unlimited chips and discounts on Mondays. I usually get the Homewrecker(funny name that makes me laugh every time), my boyfriend gets the Billybaroo and our 5 year old the cheese quesadilla(comes with a drink and a chocolate chip cookie). Pretty cheap place if you want something quick, easy and won’t burn your wallet either.

Although Hawaii is notorious for really bad Mexican food, my experience at Moe’s was just alright. Upon entering the menu is on the side wall, nice, big, and clear. They do offer quite a good amount of items and you can customize your protein with chicken, grassfed beef, pork, and ground beef… they also have vegetarian options which is nice. Customer service was great! No complaints here. Opted for the HomeWrecker Burrito with grass-fed beef.(Tortilla with seasoned rice, beans, all-natural shredded cheese and pico de gallo along with lettuce, all-natural sour cream and handmade guacamole.) BONUS: Free chips and salsa with every meal. The salsa is self served and quite delicious I must say. Perfect amount of spicyness and freshness. The burrito itself was pretty lack luster to me though. Nothing special… the beef barely had any flavor to begin with which was a big disappointment to such a quality of beef(grassfed). I’d also like to point out that the seating area was a bit… dirty. Traces of food and sticky residue can be found, especially in the booth seating area. Gross. All in all, it was just… ok. I would only come back for chips and salsa~

was hoping that this place is like chipotle on the mainland, but far from it … the burrito hardly had any meat and flavor. the nice touch here is that they give you free chips and salsa
