Serenity Calling

I have been searching for a long while for a good metaphysical/​crystal/​mineral store and I happen to come across Serenity Calling. As stated in a previous review its probably one of the best metaphysical/​spiritual stores out there in LA & Ventura County.
The store carries a lot of unique pieces you wont find anywhere else. I found the owner Gillian to be very knowledgeable about all the items she sells and she clearly loves helping people finding their perfect item/​gift. I love that fact that you also get a detailed printed copy of the metaphysical properties of each item purchased as well.
The store also offers different intuitive readers that can be either booked by appointment via phone or if like me, you can just walk in and have a reading done by one of the readers that are present that day in-​store. If anyone is looking for a good reading my personal favorite readers
so far based on the readings I’ve had so far, are (everyday life related questions) Wendy and Betty. Emily works with both spiritual and real life matters and Draza is aimed more towards spiritual guidance. My list will probably change if I have any further readings from different readers but for now I am only listing these readers so far.
Various classes are offered at store which I’ve enjoyed attending for far.
This is a great store and I love the fact that I am able to support a local business.

This store is awesome, with an incredible selection of world class crystals and many other metaphysical items. So many beautiful things to see and experience. I find myself there frequently finding new enlightening things that add a lot of happiness to my life. The owner Gillian is pleasant and very knowledge about the unique items the store has to offer. This place seems to have an endless supply of unique gift items that fit within my budget. I have had a few reading from the practitioners that have been astounding.
I encourage everyone that needs a little more light in their life to head over to the store.

I was a customer at the Akashic and (later the Hummingbird) and was happy to see a shop open that feels like home. Amazing crystals, rare books, jewelry and Wendy! So much to see in the shop and surrounding shops in the plaza they are in. Music, food, shopping and magic all in one place! The events are cool too. Gillian (owner) is doing a great job. Check it out!

This store is warm; welcoming and delightful. Gillian is a being a light and wonder. Her energy is amazing and brings even more light to the dazzling selection of perfectly selected metaphysical items through-​out the store. I spend many hours there just taking in the wonders that she has from around the world. From tiny faeries to large; powerful crystals or figures she has it all.
Beyond ALL that, Gillian is an amazing teacher within the metaphysical and mineral space. Spending time in the store because it is so powerfully positive, I learned about different cultures, what items meant in those cultures, how minerals/​stones were developed within the earth and so much more.
Serenity Calling is exactly as the name says, Serenity, a tiny piece of joy outside of the hustle and bustle of the world. My daughter was welcomed with open arms by their readers and able to connect to stones and fairies. It’s truly a family place where everyone can find something.

Serenity calling is the most incredible enlightened living store that I’ve ever been in. They have amazing crystals from all over the world, oils candles, incense, chimes, you name it… and also the owner Gillian can source almost anything from her vast array of contacts, she is so knowledgeable about crystals and their energy, she’s so friendly and helpful and so is her staff.
They have intuitive readings as well, I tried… and they are amazing!
You have to check this place out. it’s truly awesome!

I love this place. Just when you walk in you feel all the wonderful energies from the previous items that they sell. The classes are awesome, the psychic readers are wonderful people (Draza has changed my life in the most positive way!) and the items sold here are so incredibly beautiful and unique. I try to stop by every time I am in the area. This is a place where you can go to feel more connected to your spiritual and/​or even psychic self. So grateful it exists.

The best incense supply in the area. My favorites are dragon blood and frankincense.

i went in for a reading, which was great btw. i was double charged though. i had paid in advance on paypal and in the store i was charged again on my debit card. i didn’t realize at the time i had also been charged on paypal. it’s been nearly 3 weeks and in those weeks waited to speak to the owner who was unavailable. i got her on the phone 3 days ago, gave her all relevant information. she assured me she would refund my paypal and she has yet to do it. getting ready to escalate to a dispute on paypal if it is not done today. maybe i should just escalate now. maybe i am too nice. it literally takes 10 seconds to do it. smh.

I love this little shop. My favorite things are the Vita juwel glass water bottles & Satya treasures. She has a lot of unique things and is always informative about meanings if things & recommendations. My go to shop!

My mom has been buying me gifts here this past year and I finally got to go in today– what a great energy and a great source for spiritual and healing objects.

Love coming here to look around. Items in all price ranges and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Books, oils, stones, jewelry and more. There is something for anyone, enjoy!

This is my favorite place. I find myself in there for hours looking at all the wonderful things the store has to offer. The energy is so peaceful and everyone that works there is so welcoming and really knowledgable. The readings are really awesome also, I personally love going to Tamara! She’s so easy to talk and open up to and her vibe is calm and soothing to be around. There’s definitely something for everyone at Serenity!

Awesome store. You can find great unique gifts at good prices. You can also find beautiful one of a kind gifts at higher prices. There is something for everyone. Its our go-​to store for sage and incense.
I also love chatting with Wendy. She is usually there on Tuesdays.

Superb atmosphere. The energy here is palpable. They carry a wide selection of high vibration pieces and large geodes as well as pocket stones and jewelry. They carry antique occult and metaphysical books as well. The owner frequently travels far and wide for odd and nearly unobtainable mineral specimens for the discerning crystal guru. Don’t hesitate to ask questions either as the staff is knowledgeable and kind. Every time I have come inside I have found something new. Do not pass this shop by!!!

Great little metaphysical store… I was surprised because the interior is quite posh — but the prices are great! Really nice amethyst points and other stones for less than what you’d pay elsewhere. They have some really beautiful, unique artisan jewelry. And I loooooved the antique tarot card decks and magic books, although those are more pricey. But still cool to look at.
Overall, the owner has great taste and the inventory is well curated. The sales assistant was very friendly, too. I will definitely come back!

Gillian doesn’t have any business courtesy or credibility!!! Had appointments, which had been paid for in advance, cancelled at last minute without the courtesy of a phone call on Mother’s Day. Called Tuesday and was told we would receive a refund — never happened. Called Friday was assured we would receive our refund after she hung up — never happened. It took personally going into the store today to get the refund. Rude! and, not very business savvy. Just lost two potentially good customers. Would NOT RECOMMEND doing business here — ever!
