Miniature Market

Prices on 5 out of 5 board/​card games we ordered we less expensive here than at Target or Amazon! We ordered from the online store to pick up in store (since we live locally in St. Louis). Even though we ordered on a weekend, we were able to pick up our order 30 minutes later. How’s that for customer service?
While waiting for the cashier to grab our order from the back, we noticed a table with «dent and ding» items selling for even less. For example, we paid $ 10 for flip city, but it was selling for just $ 7 because the wrapper was ripped. I would have tried to exchange, but we were already getting such a good deal, I didn’t want to worry about saving another $ 3. Of the other dented/​dinged items, none were destroyed to affect the integrity of the box or the game.
If I even need a game in the future, I am shopping here first!

Placed order on Sunday and paid extra for Priority Mail Shipping. Called back Tues still not shipped told by Dave will ship today or call you. Call back Wen and told did not have stock. Terrible customer service and experience

Was pleased with the price for a recently published game, about 20% less than on Amazon, and the game arrived promptly. I will check this store’s website first when I am next in the market for a board game.

Don’t like how they went with the crowd and charged 60 $ for Battle For Zendikar Fat Packs. Now they don’t even have them listed online. Trying to hide the fact that they overcharged. I was able to pick one up at Walmart for retail. Thanks a lot Miniature Market. I had to go deal with the idiots at wally world because you guys wanted to make a quick buck on a fad. In doubt if I’ll buy from you guys again, even though your store is minutes from my house.

I order from Miniature Market online after I realized a few things. These revelations :
1) It’s good to support the little guy when it comes to retail, when you can
2) The little guy most definitely tends to treat their employees better than Amazon does. If you haven’t heard about this, look it up. And here we are so busy shaking our fists at Wal-​Mart.
3) THIS little guy has better prices than Amazon!
Well at least in 90% of cases it does. Sure, shipping is $ 6, flat instead of free with Prime, but you stock up and it’s worth your while. If you order more than $ 100, you save that $ 6.
The selection is staggering; they have board games in stock and pre-​orders on items that many others don’t. I recently had an issue with a pre-​ordered item in my order that was not sent; support was helpful and quick (via e-​mail) and the item was sent out. Dave was great to communicate with; straight to fixing the problem.
So, if you love board games (and why wouldn’t you, its time with your friends that doesn’t involve a screen), this is so worth checking out.
Update: I just picked up two games here that I could not find on other retailers, because of high demands/​new releases. Their stock is so impressive, especially when it comes to new releases, they just make it too easy to keep coming back. I’ll have to, no more space.

Once again, Miniature Market is an impressive online retailer. They have a huge selection, the website is easy to navigate, huge selection of items and they are without a doubt the fastest shipper I’ve even dealt with. Highly recommend them for your business needs.

I had some problems contacting customer support, but once I did they were able to fix my problem with a preorder. There were times I called when the voice recording said the store was open, but then I was told the store was closed! I tried using their «live customer support chat» but didn’t find anyone available. Finally I called and was put on hold and then disconected, but I called again and spoke to someone else and he was very helpful.

Always great service, quick service, good prices and huge selection. I always check with them first when I need gaming supplies or just looking for new games to play! I have only done online orders, and whenever I contact them they respond within 24 hours. The only drawback is shipping… it’s nice they have free shipping for orders over $ 100… but wish they’d lower the bar or reduce shipping costs for less than $ 100 as it is a bit prohibitive when you want to take advantage of the Deal of the Day. The point system is nice, too… but honestly doesn’t amount to a lot when many other business who have «member rewards» tend to have higher point values. But… since their pricing is pretty competitive this is not a huge drawback.

My son found this store online and asked me to take him here while we were in town. It is easily accessible almost at the corner of 270 and 364… just past the Hooters if you know the area. Their store seemed to be set up to do a lot of online sales, but both workers that helped me were very courteous and friendly. The walls were full of board games (many unique ones I never heard of) and of cards games of all types. They also had a large selection of fantasy type games and packs of cards. My son was happy he found what he was looking for and I was happy it was so easy to find.

I have been doing online business with this company for a few years now and have always been happy with the service and products received.
The website is easy to navigate and well organised, always showing what they have in stock. If you’re looking for unique and independent baord games, card games, miniatures, hobby supplies and RPG books this is the place to start.
