This location seems to be closed. No loss in my opinion… expensive thin dry ketchup covered crust cut into little greasy squares. If you go for that kind of «Pizza», you can go buy one of those frozen red hubcap tasting things from the frozen isle at Wal Mart. At least that way you can cut it «Pie» shape.(The only GOD approved way to cut and eat Pizza)

BEST Pizza in the world… coming from someone that isn’t a big pizza fan. I’ve tried so many. My favorite here is the pepperoni. The crust is out of this world.

Great pizza and service, special was a very good value. The only weakness was that the wine list was a bit light.

Can’t remember the last time I had this pizza. Ordered takeout, the specialty artichoke, spinach, garlic with white cream sauce on butter garlic crust, sausage pizza & pomodoro chicken pasta. .OMG!!! Is all I can say… I am a pizza snob, & love to try different pizza, crusts. My favorite is a traditional Italian wood burning oven pizza, but this crust is DELICIOUS!!! I was amazed at how pillowy, crunchy, delicious this pizza was. .the artichoke specialty pizza is a MUSTTRY, unique and flavorful & garlic is not overpowering at all, the sauce is light & creamy, and by the time I brought it home to eat, the cheese was still warm and gooey! The pasta was very good as well, melted cheese, light cream sauce, and alot of chicken. HRI is very pricey pizza, I admit, but its worth it!!!

After having a love at first bite experience at a different location, I decided to try something different and a convenient locale. After waffling about the buffet versus take out, I opted to order takeout online. I ordered the 8 inch Chicago Best(pepperoni, sausage & bacon) with garlic butter crust. You can get a side salad or soup for $ 3 more, so I also opted for the HRI Signature Caesar Salad. If that was not more than enough food, I decided to also try the wings. Whatever is left will also be dinner, eh??? … The pizza was waaaaaay too much meat for my liking and I did not enjoy the garlicky crust. It was a little too much going on. As for the wings, I really would pass on ordering them again and having one if someone else ordered them. They were pretty pathetic. Moving on to the salad. Loved it! A nice spin on a traditional caesar and it is the perfect size. $ 22 later, I wish I had spent $ 11.49 to eat«new things» at the buffet or simply opted for the salad. One can only hope the next time yields a better outcome.

I buy their frozen pizzas and add veggies before baking them at home. I think they buy their own frozen pizzas here too! We got the Garlic cheesy bread. Its actually a loaf of italian bread, sliced with mozzarella cheese and butter on it heated up till the cheese is melted. Something my 5 year old niece can do at home. The pizza isnt horrible, but its so mediocre! You can do much better in the area. Go to Giordannos or Ellios on Lake.

Dined here for the first time on Friday evening. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread to start, which was a huge order. And we got the XL pepperoni pizza(and score! We got $ 5.00 off by checking in thru the Unilocal app!!!). I really enjoy Home Run Inn pizza crust, so this was a nice change of pace from the pizza we’re usually getting closer to home. We’ll be back.

Food is decent, but party room service is not great. They didn’t have enough plates or carafes for coffee. The plates they gave us were still wet from the dishwasher and the server seemed easily frustrated.

I have been going here for years, quality is always consistent and service is usually… spot on. Can’t beat their lunch crunch for $ 8.99. When I’m broke I buy their frozen pizza but it never tastes as good as the one in restaurant. Never been a fan of Uno’s or Ginos or Giordanos thick crust, so HRI is really hits a home run with their perfect blended cheese crust and sauce combo. Can’t wait to go back.

Whenever I want to go out with my friends, we usually choose Home Run Inn. We may be a little bias because our high school was down the street, but we’ve come here for almost a decade with little complaints. Erelin and Tammy are two of my favorite waitresses. Quick, friendly service. Really good cheesy garlic bread and super fries.

The pizza here sports some solid flavor. Also, the service is very good. I can’t remember ever getting a dirty or plate or seeing lipstick on a glass, so it’s safe to say this is a clean place. If you are pizza fanatic like I am then you will be happy with the quality of the pizza but not«blown away» by any means. This is a family friendly atmosphere so expect a lot of noise and running kids. 6 people can dine on two large pizzas, an appetizer, and two pitchers of beer for around $ 90(including tip).

Went with a larger group of friends and family. Awful customer service. Took half hour for a couple beers. We did not have water for about an hour after asking 3 times. Waitress was clueless. Order a garlic crust pizza but did not receive the correct one. After a friend stated this to her she just said thats how they make it. She finally agreed and decided to take $ 1 off our bill. I ordered a Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. The Pepperoni was completely dry and curling, All i could taste was salt. I have eaten Jacks frozen pizzas that were much better than this. At the end we had to ask for our bill and finally received it 30 minutes later. We still had fun but will not be going back to this place at any point in time. Overall food and service was awful.

Great pizza. Crust is so good. Salads and soup were equally delicious. The free wi-fi is an added benefit.

Why do I always forget about Home Run Inn? As a Lou’s deep dish fan, thinner crusts are not a taste that I rate too often, as I usually think that I don’t have a preference. It was only at a recent lunch outing with Girlspawn that I re-discovered Home Run Inn and the reason I love their pizza. The crust is delicious! Not too thin and very buttery. Try the spinach and tomato — very fresh and you get your serving of veggies in with no effort. Service was attentive and very friendly. Come to think of it, all of the employees I have ever encountered here smile and are nice to you. I really need to visit more than once or twice a year.

Awesome pizza as usual. Been going to HRI since I was a kid. Sure there’s days where its better than others, but the standard for HRI far exceeds most pizza joints in the area. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. You want pizza? You near Addison? Get on over there and treat yourself! HRI Rocks!

When one speaks of great Chicago Pizza, one probably thinks of Lou Malnati’s or Giordano’s. Home Run Inn doesn’t usually get mentioned probably due to the lack of locations and the higher price. However, Home Run Inn has some of the freshest and most unique ingredients of all the pizza places with arguably the best thin crust among them all. I wish there were a closer location near me as this is one of my favorite pizzas. By the way, the chicken wings are pretty awesome too.

Pizza is a main staple in my diet. Sure, it may not be the most nutritious thing in the world, but hell, it’s delicious. The best frozen pizza in my opinion is Home Run Inn, so when I found out they have a restaurant near by, I had to visit it. We went here on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. All of the frames were decorated and wrapped for Xmas, so I don’t know what kind of décor they have, but I would guess Chicago-themed pictures. The rest of the layout was nice. Of course we ordered pizza(pepperoni and half onions) and a couple glasses of wine. Unfortunately, they put onions on the whole pizza instead of just half. I’m not one to complain so I didn’t and just dealt with it. Besides the onions, the pizza is delicious. The crust is amazing and buttery but not too buttery. It’s one of the only crusts on a pizza worth eating. Our waitress was nice and the environment was great. I’ll definitely be back when I need my Home Run Inn fix.

The boyfriend and I ended up here for dinner since the bar we wanted to go to which was located a little ways up the road appeared to be closed/dead around 6:00pm Saturday afternoon. Weird since the website said that it is open from noon to 2am. Anyways, I have had Home Run Inn pizza from the frozen aisle and also at the Taste of Chicago, but I had never been to a restaurant before. So, we decided to check out this place. We started with soups — minestrone for me and chicken dumpling for him. The soups were pretty good and a nice way to start out a meal on a cold fall day. For the pizza, we had the Chicago’s Best, which was sausage, pepperoni and bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon?! We also added the garlic butter crust for $ 1 more. In terms of the pizza, it was good! The crust was thin, but not too thin. I also liked it that it was cut into squares. We got the 12″ and only ate half. There were tons of toppings on them as well. My only grip would be that the toppings and the cheese tended to slip off the pizza when you ate it. Other than that, it was delicious. Service was good — our waitress was super friendly and nice. She checked up on us a few times and made sure we were having a good time. Overall, great pizza and definitely would try it again. Beer list isn’t large, but that’s kind of what you get at a place like this. But, they serve Stella in the proper glass, which I liked.
