A huge selection of nougat with some very interesting flavours. The store was nicely organised. There were no samples, which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, we bought some souvenirs.

Passed by the cute store and was going to zip by thinking it wasn’t the soft Italian or French torrones that I sought, but hubby nudged, and I’m so glad he did. There was a sample plate and I tasted a crunchy almond nougat and it was delicious! Crunchy but light and not too sweet with very fresh almonds. So bought some round disks(easier packing) for about € 5,6 each to bring home as souvenir gifts. The combined disks were quite heavy. Since these were really the only souvenir I thought worthy of bringing back(other than saffron), I immediately regretted not buying more. Ended up picked up some more at the Madrid airport but of course these cost a few euros more. I believe all stores offer some free samples, albeit not for all products.

This is the only souvenir I brought back for myself and my friends/family to New York. The Crujiente de Yogurt is wowza! The medium-sized bar(300g) costs € 6.20. BUY your Torrons here and NOT in Barcelona because the price difference is huge. Torrons is also sold in El Cortes. Tried their Yema quemada as well, not a fan.

3.5 artisan nougat store since 1775. able to sample some, but didn’t like the nougat as much, thus got the almond chocolate instead. easy for gifting.

Cute store… with great, unique desserts. Worth a visit. Everything we sampled was very tasty and their selection is quite large. Highly recommend.
