The Good Burger

Comienzo dejando claro que pongo 4 estrellas no porque sea un sitio mega genial, sino porque dentro de su nicho (fast food hamburguesil), está bastante bien, especialmente si quieres salirte de los tópicos y cansinos McDonald’s y Burger King.
La idea detrás de TGB es imitar la experiencia de Shake Shack: hamburguesas de calidad, patatas diferentes y una comida rápida pero decente a precios bajos. Y aunque no consigue ni de lejos la calidad de Shake Shack (de cuyas hamburguesas tengo un recuerdo fenomenal cuando las probé en Miami hace bastantes años), no está mal, aunque… tiene altibajos. La primera vez que fui no me gustó nada. El pan parecía crudo, como si le faltara algo de cocción y la carne estaba demasiado hecha. La segunda vez, mejoró y hace unos días estuve por tercera vez y todo tenía mejor pinta, la verdad. Así que, sinceramente, no sé si es que depende del local, del equipo que haya en sala, de si la cocina está muy saturada… creo que es en lo que más deben trabajar, en mantener una misma experiencia para todos los clientes, que la calidad siempre sea la misma.
En fin, que si te apetece comida rápida pero menos pesada que Mc/​BK y quieres algo barato, éste es tu sitio.

Good Burger? Make it the Great Burger! If you’d like a quick meal at a very reasonable price this is your place. Everyone of the burgers is incredibly tasty. As an added plus the beer is also fairly priced. There are better gourmet style burgers but in the context of a fast food restaurant there is none better.
Insider tip: On Thursday they have a special «doble» deal, which means double. You get two burgers for the price of one! Madre Mia what a deal.
Added story: I first came to the Good Burger over a long weekend in Sevilla. They had the «doble» deal going the entire week. I ended up having six burgers over the course of two days. No joke, this place is great.

If you want a cheeseburger, go here. It’s 4 euro and decent. It’s not 5 stars because im used to fat, homemade gourmet burger. Regardless, it’s worth coming to. The nachos are subpar though.

The food here is amazing! Yea, it’s not Tapas or any fancy Spanish dish… but leave it to the Spanish to take American food and pump it up on steroids! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Nachos and these chicken fingers things were awesome too! Plus, they have super fast WiFi (free), and they can care less if you sit there for hours taking full advantage of it. I did :) this place became my Madrid satellite office. The employees are extremely friendly and struck up random conversation with me. Definitely check it out if you’re in Madrid and craving burgers and dogs!
