This review never happened ok?
This is a bit of a dirty BK. I can’t comment on whether it’s always like that as I never plan on returning. I ordered the chicken tendercrisp meal to takeaway. It’s a fill-​your-​own drink kind of place, and the guy serving spoke English and helped me struggle through my ordering (although I should note the menu is in English). The tendercrisp took maybe 5 minutes wait but that’s not too bad — at least it hasn’t been sitting in the warmer for an hour. I like the chicken, the batter is nice and crispy, and it has fresh lettuce and tomato too. It’s not the best burger ever, but it filled the gap in my life.
So how did I end up here? I’d been travelling all day and was pretty unwell. I’d only really had one thing to eat during the day, and was exhausted by the time I arrived in Madrid. I ventured over to Mercado de san Miguel which has an amazing range of tapas but not sizable enough to fill me up for dinner. So I took the ultra lazy and embarrassing option, just so I could scoff a burger in my room before tucking up with Netflix in bed.
Let us never speak of this again.
