Oishii

This is a great little spot to enjoy a big bowl of comforting noodle soup on a rainy (or not so rainy) day. As a vegetariana living in Madrid, I can say that it hasnt been easy to find delicious, fresh, veg friendly food. Until now. Not only is their ramen really tasty, but the service is always attentive, and even patient with me when I try to speak Spanish. Oishii is my new favorite spot. I think my boyfriend and I eat here twice a week. He loves the beef chili ramen.

So glad we found this restaurant while wandering through the neighborhood one evening! Oishii offers great noodles and ramen, as well as other food options. I am a big fan of their Chicken Yakisoba, and my friend loves their vegetable ramen.
Oishii also offers a great lunch deal with various combinations available for 12.50 euros or less. The woman who has been there the few times we have gone speaks both Spanish and English, which is nice.
We will definitely return!

Que la comida japonesa está de moda (o lo estaba, no se, ya me pierdo con las modas) es algo innegable. Hoy en día si no sabes comer con palillos te miran mal, y hay que saber la diferencia entre maki y nigiri mejor que el abecedario. Pero la mayoría de sitios japoneses se limitan a eso: sushi. Cualquiera que haya visto suficientes capítulos de Doraemon o cualquier animé de estudiantes japoneses, sabe que la piedra angular de su cocina no es el sushi, sino el ramen, fideos muy caldosos servidos en cuenco. Pues bien, hasta hace poco, para comer ramen decente en Madrid había que gastarse una pasta en los japoneses caros, pero eso ha cambiado. Oishii trae a Españà la filosofía del noodle-​bar, un local para comer rápido, pero eso sí, muy bien. A primera vista el sitio te puede echar para atrás, ya que tiene un poco pinta de fast-​food. Hay que darle una oportunidad. La comida es sorprendentemente buena, especialmente el ramen, aunque el sushi no se queda para nada atrás. El trato es inmejorable, y está muy lejos de ser un sitio caro. Mi recomendación: beef curry ramen. ¡Buenísimo!
