This should be on every Foodies list! They offer truly unique flavors in every dish. I loved my first visit so much, I took an early train back from Sevilla to eat a Madrid’s finest restaurant– Naia– so that I could have another opportunity to enjoy the cuisine before flying back to the US. Amazingly good!

Loved this place! Adorably chic. Delicious food. Shareable portions. For what it is, it’s perfectly priced. Cannot wait to come here again :)

We were looking for a place to eat dinner in Madrid that had outdoor seating in La Latina area one night in August. My brother’s girlfriend had heard good things about Naia, so we walked over and were lucky enough to snag the only free table. I ordered the calabaza(squash) ravioli with sage sauce and we shared the Iberian ham with romanesco cheese croquetas. The food was exquisite, absolutely phenomenal! The ham and cheese croquetas were so flavorful and creamy. The best part hands down were the squash ravioli with the sage sauce. just perfection. We quenched our thirst during the meal with a few delightful claras(½ lemonade/½ light beer). The plaza de paja is a lovely setting and that night, a street musician was playing in the middle and it added a nice touch to the night. I highly recommend this place for a great meal in Madrid and suggest you sit outdoors to appreciate the area.

Situated on the beautiful plaza de paja in the Latina district of Madrid is a contemporary bistro blending traditional Spanish foods with modern presentation –all well done & with excellent service. We arrived a little late for a table outside & they will take reservations but were seated promptly & with a kind welcome indoors around 10 pm. Unfortunately there were only 2 of us, my daughter & myself & not overly hungry so we only ordered 3 dishes. We were served an amuse Bouche of calamari with tartar sauce, not sounding like much in English but arriving in the smallest of ramekins with a ring of sweet red onion-perfect. A glass of Rioja helped with the richness of our appetizer croquetas de carabineros con aioli(shrimp coquettes) amazing flavor & perfect without oil & with aioli ! Raviolis de calabaza con mantequilla de salvia(squash raviolis in sage butter) were delicate pillows made with unbelievably thin ravioli and a filling that was phenomenal. There is an extensive wine menu, postres looked very nice & English translation of menu on last page. With all the choices a must stop in La Latina

This is one of the best places I had lunch lately! The shaved fois is heaven to say the least… I will definitely come back here every time I’m in Madrid, and would certainly recommend it to everyone!

Hard to pigeon-hole as Spanish food or French food, but all of the food was great. I would specifically recommend the burger, burrata and croquettes, but you probably can’t go wrong. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating in the plaza that makes Naia is a good choice if you are near La Latina and looking for something a little more serious than tapas.

One of my favorite places that I spent time at while in Madrid. Naia has a great staff that works extremely hard, and is very nice to anyone who walks in the door — locals or tourists. Not to mention the scrumptious food! There are no reservations — so on a lovely day for lunch, if you want to sit outside in the lovely plaza, be prepared to wait — but also keep your eyes peeled as some people might try to take what should be your table. For 51 euros we had 3 beers, one bottle of water, croquetas, burrata pugliese, and the vegetable lasagna. All super delicious although I think we preferred the burrata and the croquetas more than the lasagna. The portions are a good size(not tapas sizes) — we were just famished :) On that note, this isn’t the cheapest place you could eat, but I believe that the quality and service definitely merit the prices. The people that were here were mainly locals, and a few tourists, so it’s definitely authentic. If it’s in your budget — definitely a place I would recommend to come to eat!
