At first sight Hans Tavsens Park look a bit boring and ordinarily. It just look like a big field of grass. Look a bit closer, and you will learn that the park have a lot to offer. Their is a big playground, mini golf(bring your own balls and putter), boulders for climbing, ballpark, and some strange looking statues. Best of all, it is neighbour to Assistensens Kirkegård, and you always have this great cemetery as background. You can look for the woodpickers and squirrels in the big old trees.

I love this park. It is beautiful year round. My favorite part is where the dogs roll around and frolic. I think we are all technically supposed to be leashing our dogs, but it’s not like they’re pissing on stuff… Just playing games! No one complains about it either so I dig the laissez faire vibe. I think I spelled that wrong. This fall has been particularly nice because winter has not crept up quickly like it did a few years ago. Being able to experience the leaves changing colors, especially here, is really awesome. It’s really easy to get lost and spend hours here, if you want. I do.
