I was actually looking for Yatai when I stumbled upon this stall; anyone know if it is permanently closed? The plates on display here looked lovely so I opted for a Sichuan Beef with noodles. While I was waiting for my food to be prepared, I wondered if I should have gotten a big plate of duck instead. It looked really good! There are also a few dim sum offerings but I’m not sure if I want dim sum from a place that looks like a grill bar. As I was bringing the food back to our table, the smell was killing me! The lovely smoky scent of a really hot wok. At 75kr it seemed a little steep but you get a small mountain of beef and noodles so I was happy to share with my tablemates. The beef was extremely tender; almost too tender! How did they do that? The noodles were really nice with a little bite to them. The only thing I could fault was the fact that it was a bit too salty for me. Maybe some more vegetables would have helped. But now that I know this dish was great, I apologize for judging a book by its cover and I will try the dim sum next time.
