The tamed was delicious! The broth had a lot of flavor to it. Interesting name this place has. Would definitely pay a visit if you were in town.

I travel to Copenhagen often for work and was excited to find a ramen place close to my hotel. Being from Chicago where there are some great ramen joints, I was hopefully optimistic about this place, seeing as how the food scene in Copenhagen is deep and broad. Unfortunately, Wagamama did not deliver. I ordered the gyoza and the pork ramen(clearly not tonkatsu ramen by its description). The gyoza seemed to be of the previously frozen variety, steamed and then quickly pan fried. Soggy, mostly tasteless. Dipping sauce was fine. The ramen was likewise tasteless. The noodles seemed fresh but again no flavor. The broth was a clear chicken base and they dumped a lot of fresh spinach and green onion in it. Almost seemed like it was slightly phở influenced. The pork was super fatty, which isn’t a problem in itself for pork ramen, but again, no flavor. They put some duck sauce or something on top of it, but that’s really just like sprinkling salt on top of a cooked steak. Doesn’t add any depth to the flavor. I also ordered the apple mint ginger juice and that was the highlight of the meal. Refreshing and crisp. Service was great. The servers were fast and attentive. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Prices were ok by Copenhagen standards. My whole meal was 300dkk, including 20dkk for flat water that I didn’t ask for but ok. All in all, if you absolutely must have hot noodle soup, this place will get you by. Otherwise, I’d skip it.

Quite pricy for pretty average westernised Japanese food. It doesn’t taste Jap, at all. The chilli chicken Raman is basically a Thai flavoured noodle dish while the pork Raman just tasted a bit non-Jap/interesting. All in all, at least it’s hot noodle in such weather! Oh yeah, it’s annoying they even charge you for tap water!?!

This location is right by the Trivoli Amusement Park. Plenty of seats here. There’s two different«levels». We sat In the front part of the restaurant. The bathrooms were downstairs and they were clean. The new menus haven’t made it to this location yet. I had the Pork Ramen and the vegatable gyzo.

This wagamama is an integrated part of tivoli and is very tourist friendly. You can enter the restaurant from both sides and they pride themselves in running the restaurant in a very japanese style. The decour itself doesn’t imply anything asian, but the way they serve the food does. This means you have no guarantee to get your food at the same time, but the waiters also makes sure to tell you that, when you get seated. We ordered different meals and a side of dumplings and I received a cold dish and returned it to the waiter, once I found out it was cold — the waiter was really sorry and got me a new one pretty much five minutes later, but that could have been avoided all the same. The plate wasn’t even warm. Neither was the plate on my second dish, but the dish itself was pretty steaming hot this time and it tasted pretty fine. Our dumplings arrived almost after we had finished our food and the taste was bland, to say the least. My own dish was nothing special, but tasted ok. The rice tasted like they weren’t salted. But my friends dish was absolutely amazing. I actually wanted to have her dish instead of my own — it was that big a difference. It is okay to have a difference in your menu, but not _that much_ Due to the way the restaurant runs, it also felt a little rushed. We weren’t given much attention by waiters — but when you are five waiters for roughly 200 people, it is not really that easy to do.

I had been wanting to try Wagamama’s for such a long time, as I had heard they had Ramen on their menu. Having lived in California previously I really miss Ramen here in Denmark so I was excited to finally go and try out the place. When my boyfriend and I sat down we were told by the waiter that food wouldn’t necessarily come out together, but come out when it was done, which I didn’t think much of at the time. All together we ordered ordered: Apple, mint & lime juice, chicken gyoza, chili beef ramen and wagamama pad-thai with chicken. Lets start with the juice. I actually really liked it. It was very refreshing and really tasty. Perfect balance of mint & lime and I really enjoyed it. The chicken gyoza was pretty good. I don’t have much to compare it to as I usually don’t order gyoza, but I thought it was a nice starter. Now for the main entrees, we’re back to what I said earlier about food not coming out at the same time. My boyfriends pad-thai came out first and my food didn’t come out until about 10 minutes after. Maybe that doesn’t seem like a long time, but it is when he’s staring at his food wanting to be polite and wait for your food to arrive and his food is getting cold. I just find it to be an odd concept that food doesn’t arrive at the same time(or close to the same time). He ended up starting his food without me, which of course is no problem but by the time my food arrived he was already quite a ways into his. Would just be nice if people could eat at the same time. But anyway, I had a bite of his pad-thai, and It was pretty good actually. Not the best pad-thai I’ve ever had but it satisfied my tastebuds. My ramen however, terrible. If you’re a ramen lover like me, don’t order it. Just don’t do it! The broth had barely any flavor, which is a pity as that’s what makes up a good ramen. The meat was also just ok for me. Didn’t have much flavor, so all together it just didn’t do anything for me. I’m giving it 3 stars since their juice, gyoza & pad-thai was pretty good, but the ramen just really killed it.

Ordered shrimp and vegetable dumplings, pad thai with prawn with lemon and lime beverage. Side Note: water is .75. Dumplings are lite and AMAZING; notl greasy. Nothing like this pad thai in all of NYC! The drink is refreshing. Tender chicken.. atmosphere is fast paced so be on your toes, wide open airy space. Food is served as done, individually. Prompt and attentive service. Bathroom gets a plus. This is a good chain.

I was excited to find a Wagamama in Copenhagen and came here for late lunch with much anticipation. I used to love Wagamama when I lived in London, and somehow I am always expecting that level of quality in all the Wagamamas I visit(which is my downfall). I had the raw salad with the house dressing and the beef miso ramen. The salad was generous in portion, but I barely tasted the dressing and there were way too many red onions. Seriously, half the salad was composed of red onions. I know bc I ate around most of them and the uneaten onions filled half the bowl. The beef miso ramen was OK. The steak was of good quality, but the broth was very salty. There were hardly any vegetables in the dish and I wasn’t too crazy about the noodles, which tasted like it was overcooked and soggy. The service was a bit lacking too. I visited during the off peak hours and the restaurant had only a handful of customers. While they were quick to take my order and serve the food, I had to flag them down to get the check. I think the place was understaffed because it was off peak. I’m debating on a return visit to try the other dishes. The other reviews don’t sound too promising though so I may have to move on to the many other restaurants offered in Copenhagen.

Came as a family. The adult dishes came first, they completely forgot about the dish for our baby and it wasn’t until I bugged them 3 times for them to realize they didn’t order it from the kitchen.

Ramen in copenhagen… WHAT?! It does exist! This might be the only ramen place in copenhagen and i had to try. Located right around the corner of the infamous Tivoli and they opened til 10p(which is great cause of lot of shops closes early) Great open space with bench styled seatings and booths as well, you don’t feel crammed at all Service was nice — ours told us about the freshness of the ingredients and was there if we had any questions. Mind you, THISISNOT A TRADITIONALRAMENSHOP — dont expect the same as you would any other ramen-ya place. The menu was huge! Ramen had about 6 – 7 options, and there were also curries and appetizers… nice I ordered Chilli Ramen with Chicken Pork Gyozas Chicken Katsu Curry DISCLAIMER — i had very low expectations for this place… just cause… you know… copenhagen + ramen = didnt really add up Ramen — NOTBADATALL… broth was unique and had a spice to it… like an indian spice and not a HOT spice… it had a bit of a kick but not much, sensitive eater though. beware…my friend said it was spicy. The noodles were the wavy thick kinds and it wasnt bad either… maybe cooked a bit too long cause it was on the softer side. Chicken was grilled and sliced… more like a salad type chicken versus for soup. Overall… the ramen was way better than i expected and tasted better than some places in NYC. However, towards the end of it, i was getting sick of it Curry — BLANDBLANDBLAND — it looked bland when it came out. the curry was very light… kinda watery light and the chicken katsu was sitting on the bottom next to the rice. Eating the curry with the rice was like eating water mixed with curry powder. Dont try Goyozas — eh… they’re goyozas… the skin was like in between thin like most goyozas and thick like a dumpling… nothing TOO fancy overall…it exceeded my expectation but again… my expectation were low… but if you’re out there… WHYNOT just TRYY

Don’t know why this place was rated with only 3 stars. We ordered 3 diff kinds of noodles and we loved them. My beef ramen noodle soup was really delicious and with a lot good quality beefs. I am from Texas and am very picky about beefs, but I can tell you their beef steaks were high quality! The soup base was flavorful. My wife ordered chili ramen and my daughter got stir fried udon with Chicken. They both liked them. I will come back again tomorrow and try other flavors before we head back to TX in 2 days.

Service: just OK. They were busy, but not THAT busy and food arrived(incorrectly based on what we ordered) before drinks. Food: standard wagamama fare — reasonable quality for the price point. Atmosphere: casual and vibrant… right at Tivoli Gardens Their location keeps them busy, I would think, so consider reservations or be prepared for a short wait. They also do takeaway in convenient to carry boxes.

I ventured to Wagamama to dinner while walking around Tivoli Gardens. First, it seemed hard to get any waiters attention to be seated. But, we finally got seated(I had to go get my own menu because I wasn’t given one). The options are plentiful and it was also aok for my vegitarian friend. The food was good, but there were many shortcomings: The food comes out when ready, which is fine but — The layout of the restaurant seemed very innefficient. My friend ordered a salad which came out when she was ¾ done with her actual dinner. The salad seemed to have been forgotten about until we asked about it. The service is just bad, which is unfortunately a typical Danish problem. The waiters are clearly just there to work and serve food. Nothing more(Danes don’t rely on tips, and it shows in every aspect of the service sector). I would rate the restaurant higher based on the food and relatively reasonable price, but just have a hard time with the Danish quality of service. Of which Wagamama is a perfect example. A warning to American’s, don’t expect a bright eyed, smiling server that will engage in small talk, because it won’t happen here.

Surprisingly, this was not ridiculously priced. I mean, it kind of is, considering I’ve been to Wagamama in the states and I know how much these items cost there… But this are fine prices for KBH, especially for Tivoli! Service was wonderful. Our dude server was nice and explained to my date how everything worked here. Things were seamless. Kimchi was mediocre, which really disappointed me because I was craving kimchi BAD! Yasai chili men was good, but I substituted rice noodles for the soba because i was giving my body a break from gluten… I think that was a mistake because it really watered down the entire dish. The flavor was good, but not as strong as it should have been. The yasai katsu curry had tempura’d veggies in an awesome curry sauce with a nice salad and rice. In love with this dish and I would order it over and over if you let me. Best dish, clear winner.

Popped in here on a recent trip to Copenhagen. It was actually my first time in a Wagamama, despite the fact that they’re all over London. Anyway, it wasn’t my first choice, but friends were interested so along I went. The service was really good – our server spoke English very well and was helpful in guiding us through the menu. I opted for the chicken terriyaki, which was really flavorful and good. It was mostly a restorative meal for me, as I was really tired and still recovering from the night before, but for that purpose it did well. It’s a good location, connected with Tivoli, though we came off the street. It’s actually really smart to be connected that way, because I’m sure they get a lot more traffic. It’s a big restaurant, so even though it was quiet when we walked by, it was busier later, and it looked like they could handle the crowd.

I am actually not a fan of wagamama — the food is OK, but I really don’t dig the whole ‘your food comes when it comes’ kind of thing they’ve got going on. Unfortunately, nearly everyone I know likes to hang out here so I am often dragged along. I get that it is convenient fast-foodish and somewhat healthy — also, I have to appreciate the fact that they are so good at adapting to dietary needs such as gluten allergies etc. But I really do prefer more cosy places more like cafés and less like cafeteria. But given the popularity, I guess that’s just me.

Four of us ate here before visiting the cinema. Green tea is free, but is best avoinded. The starters are reasonable, however, my main — a chicken curry — was rubbish. The sauce was like something from a fish and chip shop(and not a good one). Nice atmosphere, fine service, bad food.

This place is great for all the reasons it seems to get bad reviews in Danish. Food comes as it is ready, not in any particular order and seating is open and communal. It is, after all, a noodle bar. Is it as awesome and authentic as that little place in San Francisco or London that only you and your friends know about? No, it’s not. But it is the only noodle bar in CPH and the restaurant equivalent of Thievery Corporation: pleasant, sort of exotic and totally safe. Go with it… *Kid friendly!

Yo Wagamama so fat that… oh wait, that’s probably the wrong ethnic joke to tell in Copenhagen, isn’t it? Besides, fat people don’t come to Wagamama, at least not this one in Tivoli Garden. It appears to be mostly skinny hipsters and related urbanites looking to eat some faux-Asian noodles. That’s right… they ain’t fat, they just faux and not even phở. Wagamama even sounds hipsterish and looks it, too, with its sleek community tables and black-clad waitstaff using their wireless PDAs to transmit the orders to the kitchen. Now I’m so used to eating at places like this in San Francisco that I found the vibe gimmicky and pretentious. Unfortunately the food follows the same pattern. I started with the Tori Kara-age(50DKK = $ 8.88), which I was expecting to be lightly crisped fried chicken pieces but turned out to be tough and overcooked with a too-sweet chili soy sauce(see photo). This was followed by the Yasai Yaki Soba(99DKK = $ 17.57), which appeared to be a healthier alternative since it’s made up of whole wheat noodles. But their teppan-frying technique meant it was slathered in oil and coriander vinegar. Toppings were on the skimpy side — egg, bean sprouts, peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms and a showy clump of pickled ginger(see photo). Just not that satisfying for the price. Yo Wagamama, what up? FOOD — 2 stars… by-the-numbers noodle house given a glam sheen AMBIANCE — 3 stars… hip, modern, communal… not my favorite adjectives when I’m eating noodles SERVICE — 2 stars… did I mention the attitude… oh and the American hostess who had no interest in being cordial to this Yankee tourist TOTAL — 2 stars… Yo Wagamama so mean that…

Tampopo live?
