Excellent value for money. The cod was melt-in-your-mouth tender and all of the flavors were unique and well-balanced. The service was also great. The three-course menu was definitely enough to satisfy us, too.

Our hotel happened to be right next to this restaurant, so we were lucky enough to dine here during our short stay in Copenhagen. We didn’t even know it was started by two chefs from Noma or that its name means«Little Brother» in Danish. It’s really quite small and causes for an intimate dining experience, especially in the evening with their prix fixe menu. It kind of feels like you’re getting a bit of the Noma experience without the year-long wait or the hefty price tag. We came here for both breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, they offer a selection of pastries and also a couple savory offerings, such as eggs on toast(eggs can be prepared in various ways) and also a bacon sandwich(served with their homemade ketchup and to which you can add a fried egg for an additional charge). The food and the drinks were all good and the bacon sandwich came piled high with bacon. For the evening offering, we opted for the fancier prix fixe as it allowed us to taste the most items. The standouts for me were the venison tartare(chewier than steak tartare), a cinnamon macaron filled with foie gras, and the fish served with sweet potato as the main entrée. Everything was interesting and delicious and beautifully presented, sprinkled with little edible flowers and what not. It’s a tiny hidden gem in the middle of Copenhagen that you could easily dismiss as you walk by, but you should definitely check it out if you’re in the area for a one of a kind dining experience — it ended up at approximately $ 82 per person and that was with copious bottles of wine, so it’s an amazing deal.

Very inviting and accommodating. Elegant yet cozy atmosphere gave the place it’s charm. Sophie was very attentive, and seemed to know the right time to serve the next course of the 3 course dinner. Lille Bror serves breakfast through dinner, definitely worth a return visit!

Great coffee and cute ambiance. We ordered a latte, americano, chicken sandwiches and a cod side salad. Overall everything was very good. The bread for the sandwich was incredible and the star of the dish. The latte was delicious too.

Delicious creative food, really nice service. A rare treat! Highy recommend. I actually prefer the place over its pricer big brother, Bror.

LilleBROR is my go-to place, when I feel like grabbing something quick and tasty for lunch. It is located near the city hall, so it’s really nice and convenient to get to. The place is small and cosy, and they also have seating outside for sunny days like today. I can highly recommend their sandwiches, but they also offer a small variation of pastries, which I have yet to taste. I had the brisket sandwich, and the meat was more tender than, dare I say, Warpigs. If you’re ever in doubt of what to order, the very serviceminded staff are always ready to help, all the while having a smile on their faces.

I don’t usually write reviews but the set meal we had at lillebror was incredible and I would definitely go back the scallops in cabbage was my favorite but every course was delicious and prepared beautifully

I must say, I really liked this place. It was quite smaller than I realized, possibly 10 tables or so with the window seats. Its quaint and adorable — with good food and coffees. We stopped in on a Thursday morning before hitting the market down the road. We waited under 5 minutes for a table to open up. We in the mean time ordered a bacon sandwich, sausage sandwich, two lattes(one double shot) and a donut with homemade cherry jam. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing and worth it. Great value for Copenhagen which can get spendy. The brioche bread was dense and buttery, toasted and served with this homemade ketchup that makes you never want to go back to the regular stuff again. The sausage, in my hubby and I’s opinion, was a lot better than the bacon. It was crisp, yet juicy and really flavorful — hints of fennel that made it even better. He added a fried egg on top which made it out of this world. The only slight disappoint was the donut. I like more creamier or jam like consistencies inside of a filled donut. The cherry jam, although yummy, was mainly big pieces of cherries so it was unlike a filling at all, more like cherry pieces which had a little bit of preserves. The outside donut was nicely coated in sugar and fluffy though. Tip: Go there and get the breakfast sandwich. Yum!

I’ve been seeing photos of this damn doughnut all over instagram, so I had to try it. I’m happy to say that I was not disappointed. You have a choice of vanilla cream or cherry preserves to fill your plain sugar doughnut, and they fill it for you right there and then. I went with the cream and it was clearly the best doughnut I’ve had in Denmark. Possibly best I’ve had anywhere, so far. The dough was light and airy, and didn’t leave that weird feeling on my teeth that I usually get. Of course the price is steeper than anything you’d get from the Donut Shop but the quality is clear. The service was also very good, which is rare in Copenhagen, and my friend’s coffee was great. Instead I got a German pilsner which was more interesting than any pilsner I’ve had to date. If they do doughnuts this good, I’d love to see what they do with dinner.

Had my morning coffee and breakfast here this morning — but not a particularly amazing breakfast. The coffee is great, better than most places. I ordered a sausage sandwich, which was rather tasteless. The staff is great, the view is amazing and if the food had been a little better, I would probably come back.

Who knew that an egg and mayo sandwich could be that good! This is a review of the day menu, which is much more low key than the dinner menu. We went here with expectations of spending lots of cash, but since the dinner menu wasn’t available for another couple hours, we went for simple sandwiches. Simple and gooooood. The bread was classically fresh and the egg & mayo had some interesting underlying hints of flavor. I’m not a big coffee fan, though they had a lot of fair trade special coffees to try, and they had no hot chocolate! Luckily, I satiated the unending need for sweets with a chocolate chip and brown butter cookie instead, which just melted away. Mmmm! The location was nice, with a huge window looking out at some beautiful buildings and an intersection that makes for good people watching.

LilleBROR is the brother restaurant to BROR(around the corner), and translates exactly to «little brother» in Danish. This was told to us several different times so it must be true. From what I understand, having a heavy, savory meal for breakfast isn’t that common in Danish culture so the owners wanted to popularize it with breakfast sandwiches, eggs, etc. Of course the usual pastry and coffee assortment is available here as well. The bf and I came here by recommendation of someone we met in Berlin. We weren’t aware it had just opened! Super chic décor and an open atmosphere. We ordered the sausage sandwich which is made in house I believe, added an egg, and I specifically had the whisky porridge with whisky soaked raisins and lit on fire in front of me. To cap it off we ordered a tytte snitty pastry, which was crumbly and coated with lingon berry sauce. There was a minor miscommunication with the egg on our sandwich, but the chef came out personally to apologize and deliver it himself. He ended up telling us he had worked with folks from NOMA and at BROR, decided to break off and open up LilleBROR, and that he was going to honeymoon in San Francisco after the new year(we told him that’s where we were visiting from). I’d recommend this spot to any local and visitor alike. Close to the city center and Tivoli, it isn’t hard to miss but would be easy to at the same time if you didn’t know it was there ;)

I was here for dinner with my friends. I was surprised this place has already taking reservation in the first couple weeks of their openings. Their marketing has been doing well! We had two main courses and the squid starter. I like the squid starter the best, it is really unique. For the main courses, I thought they are pretty replaceable, especially at this price. Like, I don’t think I’ll visit this place for dinner again, no offense. I know it is a fine dining place, but looking how small the dishes are, I don’t think I will get full before I’m broke. Service was good tho. They gave us bread, I think the bread is the second best part after the squid. I like how they sprinkled salt on the butter. However, I am willing to try their pastry next time. They look amazing in the pictures.

After only a week old this baby has legs. Nice job guys. This is a new café(opened last week) started by two chefs from noma, the best restaurant in the world. Lille Bror is the little brother of Bror, which is itself the brother of noma. Bror means brother in Danish. The fine dining influence from Bror and noma is evident from the moment you walk into this lille café, located on a bustling Copenhagen street near city hall. We stopped in to warm-up whilst biking around the city. We’re tourists here, in from NYC and SF. Most the eaters here are locals. Many of them are the owners or chefs of other local great restaurants. We saw the owner of Amass in here today. The restaurant scene in Copenhagen is supportive of the other great restaurants, which Lille Bror will soon become. As Rene, the founder of noma, calls it, «a smoldering ember that will soon become a white hot flame.» We had the pesto cheese sandwich and the egg salad sandwich. Both were served on fresh made in-house sourdough by the baker Brit Walling, who joined this place from noma. It’s the same bread. I’ve had both and recommend it. The egg salad wasn’t too mayo heavy. And the pesto cheese was divine and very moist. Coffee service(by Ally) came on a hot marble warmer, which is a nice fine dining touch for a small café like this. For dessert I recommend the«tyttesnitty», a lavish pop tart made in house, also by Brit the baker. Especially liked the funny cartoons in the bathroom. And the chandeliers in the main room. The music was a nice blend of hip hop and lounge which is as immediately pleasant as it is immediately forgettable, like it should be in a café. If you’re in town for dinner at noma, as we were, come here for a coffee or lunch. And if you have an extra night for dinner go to Bror or Amass for dinner. Giving this five stars. Wish I had one in SF.
