Xin Wang is a chain of Hong Kong styled cafes. The food gets a little weird if you’re not used to food style. Nonetheless they have some very tasty options. I come to this outlet for it is the nearest to my home. Don’t expect fantastic service during peak hours. They seemed to be a little understaffed for a big space. But nonetheless, pretty value for money. Food is not too pricey for most stuff.

This branch of the Xin Wang Hong Kong Café franchise sits in front of a busy road in the Tiong Bahru area. It’s the perfect spot for a late night supper if you do not feel like crowding with the usual people at more popular spots along River Valley Road. Like all of the other branches, this restaurant serves dishes which can be classified as being very Hong Kong. Ready examples that spring to mind include instant noodles and baked pork chops. While some might cringe at paying $ 5 or $ 6 dollars for a bowl of instant noodles, that’s the dish I usually get. What can I say — it’s a comforting post clubbing meal.
