It is a stall at the hawker centre with long queue, no matter it is morning or evening. There is a lot choices to choose from, with each piece priced from $ 0.30 to $ 1.50. But I like is having chee cheong at $ 0.80 per roll, instead of the usual noodle or rice to go with the yong tau foo. Another item which I like here is the soup which is made with soya bean and dried anchovies. Best come in the evening when the soup has cooked for so long that the soya beans and dried anchovies are simply melted in the mouth, although the colour of the soup would be dirty green by then. Looks awful but tastes umami. Besides serving in soup or dry version, the yong tau foo here also comes in laksa soup base or porridge version(actually rice added to soup). The stall also serves laksa with prawns at $ 3 per bowl.

The yong tau foo here is top-notch. Aside from the wide selection of typical Yong Tau Foo items, everything else at this stall is extremely flavourful. Sauces are given generously and tons of sesame seeds are used for garnishing. The soup is flavoured with soya beans and ikan bilis, and it is seriously addictive, I keep wanting to go back to ask the stall owner to top up more soup for me, but I hesitate since he is swamped with orders. Service wise, the stall assistant is nimble and quick, and they have an efficient system of numbering your bowl of Yong Tau Foo items. You can place your order, and come back later after asking the stall owner to give you a rough estimate of the time you should come back. This saves you hanging around the store, and allows you to do other things.
