Bad attitude and expired beer. Servers kept softly pushing us aside and rolling their eyes because we were playing darts close to the bar, which they should move elsewhere. We ordered Heineken drafts with a funny sour taste. I felt so sick after a draft, I had to leave immediately, my boyfriend closed out. Next day, I found out that my bf and friends also felt sick after the draft. I decided to call them to let them know so they can check the tap, but noticed they charged me for an extra beer. No big deal, I told management who blamed my bf for the extra charge because he closed out without checking the reciepts. I told them I’ll handle with my credit card company, they threatened to report me to the police for overpaying? He was loud, rude and hung up on me multiple times refusing to hear my feedback about the expired tap or overcharge. My friends like the place and are regulars, it’s a shame that they’ve lost loyal patients over this one incident. Bars are a dime a dozen here and customer service goes a lonnnggg way.

Located by the river at Robertson quay, Uncabunca is a cosy and quiet place, suitable to settle down from a long day. If you’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle of city life, Uncabunca is a delightful place to chill out and simply relax the evening away. It features your standard list of local and imported drinks. My advice would be to stay away from the Kilkenny — which many, myself included, feels the taste is oddly similar to Guinness. 4-Stars given purely for the quiet and peaceful atmosphere(tough finding a nice place that doesn’t come with an overload of customers in Singapore). The staff is welcoming and offers a service, that in a way, makes up for the mediocre food. Just as many of the bars and restaurants at Robertson quay, Uncabunca is frequented by expatriates. There are several LCD screens that often features live soccer & rugby matches.
