I find myself complaining that a lot of the lunch options in Tiong Bahru are too fattening. It’s a shame I keep forgetting about this healthier alternative! This Soup Spoon outlet is a Godsend for people like me who like to be «healthy» once in a while. Though it’s a small outlet(small enough that if you’re 3rd in the queue, you’re already standing outside) the food is served quickly and small groups can usually find a seat inside during lunchtime. My favourites are the Tangy Tomato Basil(not as spicy as you think it’d be) and the mushroom stroganoff. Usually I just get the regular sized soup that comes with a bread roll. I have tried the soup + sandwich combo, but I wasn’t too impressed with my falafel wrap(then again, it’s called The Soup Spoon for a reason.) With various outlets around the island, this is a decent spot to grab healthier fare at prices that won’t break the bank.

What’s there to say about Soup Spoon branches. They’re all relatively the same, this branch has perfectly average service. It’s not huge, and at lunch it can get kinda crowded, but it’s a good, soupy stop for those rainy days. A-okay!
