The Muthu’s Curry

Clean, nice place when compared to a typical Indian restaurant. v
Food was decent but not amazing. Still prefer banana leaf.
Palek paneer, tadek Dahl — ok
Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala — a little spicy but pretty nice
Lamb kebab — didn’t taste very fresh
Tandoori fish — not bad
Naans & papadum — these were good. Naan was light, fluffy. Papadam was crispy, not too salty

This has been by far the best curry we have eaten in Singapore…
Absolutely fabulous… totally delicious and tasty food and great service… the veggie curry was probably one of the best veggie curries we’ve ever had…

The Muthu’s Curry is a fantastic Indian restaurant located at Dempsey Road. It is within the Dempsey 6ix and 7even compound, complemented by its well designed and furnished neighbours.
I came here one evening and decided on Muthu’s Curry. The menu is great; it offers a mix of North and South Indian food. Truth be told, I don’t quite know the difference. You will find many expatriates there, a very diverse demographic. The dishes seemed very traditional, but in terms of presentation I noticed a hint of some modern touches.
The interior is totally India, the aromas, textures, colours and definitely flavours.
The service is good, well they try their best, and even though they may fumble up here and there, you can tell that they are trying their best and that’s good enough.
