The Cafe Lobby @ Bishan MRT

There are many Café Lobby outlets in Singapore and I believe they are primarily located near the MRT station. That is a smart move as it makes it so easy for commuters to get some food before going on their way.
The outlet at Bishan MRT serves typical Singaporean breakfast food such as nasi lemak, fried bee hoon, fried noodles with the various add-​on items (fried chicken wing, otah, long beans, curry vegetables, fish cake, fish ball, ngoh hiang, fried tofu, fried egg, ikan bilis, etc).
It also sells curry puff, butterfly, yam cake, carrot cake (those square pieces), teochew kueh (rice cake, soon kueh…), century egg porridge, bean curd, soya milk, coffee, tea and freshly cut fruits.
I do like the fried bee hoon with the long beans and fried bean curd or the fried noodles with peanut ikan bilis. The century egg porridge is also decent, as is the bean curd.
The prices seem to have increased again and as there is no list of prices, it is really hard to know if you are being charged correctly. It is now $ 2 for just fried bee hoon and the long beans.
A couple of years ago when it was running a promotion, the fried bee hoon (or all kinds of noodles) was at $ 0.50, and it came with a cup of free coffee or tea if you ordered that plus another item.
But the stall location, situated right by the turnstiles of the red line of Bishan MRT, really makes it a convenient place to make a pit stop for food.
