The Burger Bar

The burger bar is situated at an excellent location in town. I ordered the classic cheeseburger during my first visit to this place, since the classic should never go wrong. The meat patty is succulent and juicy, complete with fresh vegetables, cheese and burger bun! I enjoyed my food FRESH, and this did not disappoint!
Food ordering is techy, head up to the tablets and tap what you need for the day! When your food is ready, number will flash and head over to collect it from the friendly service staff. There are classic burgers which you can choose from, or build your own burger! The sides are fantastic too! We ordered the onion rings which are crispy and oily. But well, there doesn’t seem a way which they could drain the oil off the rings.
TBB is a franchise co from Fatboys, by Singapore DJs, Vernon A and Justin Ang famously known duo as Muttons! I love how people open eateries with the concept of sharing the food they love.
Definitely be back again as I’m a Fatboys fan too!

A well known burger bar chain under the Fatboy’s group, Burger Bar has finally opened its door in the Balestier area. Terrific crunchy, hot sweet potato fries and chocolate milkshakes. Friendly service despite the new opening rush. I see an extensive selection of beef, chicken and lamb burgers plus mushroom and veggie options for the less-​red toothed. Try one and let me know if you enjoyed it! A Western star in an otherwise local food haven known for its chicken rice and hawker eats.

The burgers here are excellent, its by the same people that do fat boy burgers and they taste just as good.
They have a slightly different model, with an electronic self service ordering and pickup system.
The food is presented with more of a fast food feeling, wrapped in grease paper, and delivered in a basket.
Whilst the food is excellent, it feels a little over priced for a self service, more fast food like restaurant.

TBB is very modern and clean. Easy to use ordering iPads. Clean and comfortable seating. Friendly staff.
Crafted my own bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious. Burger cooked to medium well which was perfect.
Would come back again.

The Burger Bar by fatboy’s concepts. I think they grew. From the reviews I was expecting a small, nook in the wall but it was much bigger and could seat way more than 12 patrons. Low ceilings and 3 high speed fans make sitting on the long bench a breeze. 4 more booths for a less communal affair. Simple, minimal frills but still well themed. Reminding me of a 50s diner. I can like that.
The burger. Up for review, the bacon cheeseburger. Lovely, juicy and tender patty. Bacon and cheese blend well. I much prefer this beef to bun ratio. The juiciness of the beef will soften the bun but everything is well contained. Default is the burger by itself which is great if you’re not that hungry. Or go with the assortment of side orders and appetisers. Enough said.
This guy cares about the product. No corners are cut with the condiments. Heinz ketchup, French’s mustard. A corner to wash your hands and clean up after your meal. These lovely, small touches get a big plus from me.

Probably the best burger joint I’ve been in singapore! You can customize your burger, have as many extra patties you want; beef, lamb, you name it, all kinds of sauce; teriyaki, mayo and any veggies, etc. It was my first time there, and I ordered my burger which comprise of a beef patty, caramelized onion, portobello mushroom, some veggies, and I just wanna tell you guys the most important sauce you guys should be having; truffle mayo!!!

If you blink you just may miss this gem located in a tight corner in the basement of Far Eat Plaza.
Our service alone is a reason to go back. Timely, seamless, and extremely friendly. The concept is you order your burger your way from a list of many options on an iPad. Pretty easy.
My only negative would be that I had to ask for my burger to be cooked longer as it was pink in the middle still. It was taken back and cooked to perfection.

Well, this is a lovely hidden gem in the basement of Far East Plaza! This outlet is a pint sized version of your typical Fatboy’s establishment, as there are only 12 seats available.
They don’t have any specialty burgers here; the concept is more build-​your-​own. The iPad ordering system is pretty straightforward and efficient. Even though Miguel and I ordered separately on two iPads, they were able to combine the orders seamlessly so we could pay one bill without any problems. Love!
I ordered a cheeseburger on a brioche bun, no other extras– amazing! I thought the patty was dense and filling, and the brioche bun held everything perfectly even though the patty was very juicy. We also had an order of onion rings and I was amazed at how they were perfectly breaded and crispy.
Unfortunately, the drinks from the cooler weren’t cold that day (not sure if it’s because they were just put there, or if something was wrong with the cooler) but we appreciated that the staff was upfront with us and let us know before we ordered. Other than that we were happy with our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

Location is superb; best burger within 100 meters. Ordering is simple and efficient with a nice ipad app. Lots of options from bun to meat to toppings and sides — you literally get to build your burger (no avocado or salsa for those looking for a Southwest burger). Server is friendly and fast. Other customers are challenged with ipad app and understanding what a burger is and what they want on it — probably not the place to go to debate whether you should get cheddar cheese or provolone. Then the wait begins. The fries come out quickly; and they are tasty — I got the standard potato but the owner assured me the sweet potato fries are great. Finally the burger comes out and it is everything you ordered… Hot, fresh, and satisfying… I would like my bun toasted a bit more and the patties to be flatter and wider; basically less spherical or meatball like. Meat is pretty good and they do have Heinz ketchup to make it all real. All in all a good burger at a good price with no ambience or frills.

I can’t believe this place isn’t getting the love it deserves! I must say that this was my favorite burger joint in Singapore! First of all, the concept is great — you make you own burger right from the buns to the sauce. They offer a wide selection of everything so you can definitely create the burger of your dreams! And I am proud to say to have done just that many times. So if you’re a burger love, I definitely suggest that you give this place a shot! #awesome

The theory behind this place is fantastic. You come and can build your own burger from the bun up. Various options are included free of charge with extra add ons if you want to get fancy. I was really excited about my burger prospects when I placed my takeaway order and was drooling watching someone eat their burger and fries while I waited for mine to be done.
When my turn arrived, my fries were drool worthy but my bun was completely soggy. Perhaps this wouldn’t have been an issue if my burger had been eaten right away instead of needing to wait about 15 min to be enjoyed, I will try dining in next time. The only drawback there is that seating is very limited so if you go during a popular time finding a spot can be a challenge.
Overall, my burger had good flavour, I will give them another go.

The beef patty, portobello mushroom, bacon with truffle mayonnaise is yum scrum… The gigantic onion rings is yummylicious and the fries is very crunchy even after 20mins. Thumbs up
