I’ve been here before(how has it been two years since!) — and it maintains its rather meh-but-edible status. there’s something about their food that just doesn’t do much for me. I certainly wouldn’t fuss too much if someone suggested a meal here — but they really haven’t improved with time. the caesar salad had moist slices of salmon and a soft egg atop, but the dish was marred by FARTOOMUCH creamy salad dressing. it was almost like navigating at thick cream soup with loads of veg. tasty dressing, yes, but overpowering at such volume. the 3 little pigs burger was rather also tasty-but-not-quite-there, with a patty that was tasty and well-seasoned with minced chorizo and bacon amidst the ground pork — but it was a hard puck of overcooked meat. a pity, as was the overdressed salad on the side. it’s a pricey place, which suits the locale but not the food. the best place about this place is possibly how quiet it is — the hype has receded and so has the crowd, and pacific plaza is conveniently in town without being part of the madness. doable, but only mildly recommendable.

I pretty much tried all the burgers in the menu and I must say that I wasn’t disappointed in any of them. I always add foie gras in any of them which I fund curious at first but it was a really good combination. The truffle fries is just my favourite. Overall, a good place to hang out either for lunch or supper. …oh another thing, they accept AMEX card!

Terrible service. Just awful all around. Messed up orders, walked away while taking our order — — twice! Had to ask for water. Ran out of menu items. No consolation made or discount for messed up orders. Barely an apology. Food was good, but not good enough for a return visit. There are better dining options in the area.

I have always wanted to try the burgers at &Made but since my usual lunch time is at 11am, it is a bit hard to make it a spur of the moment lunch spot. Well, maybe I could as it was usually fairly empty whenever I walked past it. With Restaurant Week offer of $ 25++ for a 3 course lunch set, I just had to make it there. The only choice you get to make is the flavor of the mini sundae(caramello, chocolate or berry). The other dishes are standard — small garden salad and the B burger. I must admit I was prepared for a lousy or mediocre food experience based on the reviews I have read. People I spoke to generally felt it was ok to not bad and a tad overpriced. And since this was restaurant week, I would not be surprised if the food did not wow me. Thankfully our experience was pretty alright. Service: Generally good. Water was topped up frequently without being asked, though we did have to ask them to fill our water glasses first. The pacing of the courses was spot on, without long waits or being bunched together. The wait staff was also able to offer suggestion when we were stumped on the dessert. Food: The garden salad was really like eating leaves or how I imagine leaves would taste like. The dressing was very light, almost non-existent. But since I never like heavy dressing or wet salad, this suit me perfectly fine. I could taste more of the cracked pepper and a slight hint of zesty lemon. The B burger was really good. It did not look impressive or exciting but the taste was there. The sesame buns were nicely toasted and pillowy soft. The beef patty was a bit pinkish on the inside(I was a bit disconcerted when they never asked for our preference) and charred nicely on the outside. It was well packed and did not disintegrate when I slice through the patty though you could see the minced meat. It was a bit juicy and the beefy taste shone through. Maybe I am used to eating with little salt or something, but I thought the beef patty was good enough on its own without added condiments. The caramelized onions and comte cheese(too little of it!) plus the bbq relish went well with the meat. The fries! We changed one order of regular fries to truffle fries for $ 6 and it was fantastic. Crispy shoe string fries coated with truffle smell and taste. I was not sure if it was truffle oil or salt but at least you could taste it, unlike some other establishments. Even the regular fries were equally good. I actually polished off the entire basket of fries and I hardly did that. The mini sundae was the letdown. Or maybe it was my order of chocolate sundae. I felt like I was having plain vanilla ice cream as the chocolatey bits were at the bottom and there was a «cinnamon-y» crumbles base which just did not go together. The berry flavor was much better. The tart sweetness of the berry compote with vanilla ice cream was refreshing and the cornflakes on top added a nice crunch to it. I would definitely go back again whenever I have a burger craving in future.

Seriously good burger! Casual, small diner place with few bells & whistles to show that its not just another diner but helmed by a celeb chef. The B burger apparently their flagship was a great little burger, ‘little’ because unlike burgers at similar joints this one was not stuffed with extras it was just the patty with the cheese and other ingredients pretty understated which made the burger really enjoyable for me as a result it not one of those burgers for which either you have to open your mouth really wide or if you go the knife & fork route they tend to become messy… The fries though were lame also the flavors were so muted couldn’t make the difference between original fries & garlic fries. Inclusive of extras a burger with fries and soda is little less than $ 25, pretty good value I would say…

It goes without saying that what drew me(along with many other Singaporeans before me) to &Made was the fact that its owner is three Michelin-starred celebrity chef, Bruno Menard. Its price point, averaging around the low-20s, seemed too reasonable to be true. Besides, having made numerous«Best Burgers in Singapore» lists, it looked like a foolproof bet for dinner on a Friday evening. I really wanted to like it. Osmanthus Sancha Iced Tea, $ 6.00 — Things didn’t get off to a great start. Waiting in line for 15 minutes at a crowded restaurant in town for dinner on Fridays is perfectly understandable. Waiting 30 minutes for your food to arrive after placing your order, however, isn’t. I was so hungry I finished every last drop of my tea before my burger even arrived. At least the tea wasn’t diluted, thanks to the smart move of replacing ice cubes with cubes of frozen tea. Throughout the half-hour wait for our food, my dining companion repeatedly said«The food had better be damn delicious», each time in an increasingly menacing tone. The Lamb, $ 25.00 — Comprising a lamb patty spiced with mint and coriander, then topped with a lime pickle mayonnaise and curried raisin onion compote, all sandwiched between two halves of a buttered brioche bun, there’s no denying that The Lamb smelt fantastic. I took a bite of the patty, which resembled a giant meatball, and rather liked how the spices toned down the usually gamey taste of lamb. Texture-wise it was a little tough though. There’s a distinctly Indian influence to this dish, and a Google search reveals that mint and coriander are spices used in a minced lamb curry dish called kheema, which originates from Hyderabad. My friend found it difficult to finish the burger because it was too rich, but I suppose that’s a happy problem for some. The ‘B’ Burger, $ 19.00 — The rather unappetizing descriptor used for the beef patties served at &Made is «dry-aged», which led me to imagine a wrinkly piece of cardboard. The actual process of «dry-aging» doesn’t actually sound much better, given that it involves eeky stuff like enzymes and fungi. Sorry, biology was a fail for me so you can read ’bout this shizz yerself on Wiki. The beef commonly available in supermarkets undergoes the process of wet-aging, which is much faster and more cost-effective than having the beef undergo dry-aging. What eventually results from dry-aging, though, is beef that’s much more tender and flavorful than wet-aged beef. Moreover, according to Wikipedia, «only the higher grades of meat can be dry aged, as the process requires meat with a large, evenly distributed fat content». Served with caramelized onions, Comté cheese and, to quote the menu, «amazingly delicious» caper and garlic mayonnaise, this burger was a letdown. The beef patty, purportedly the pièce de résistance, was so dry that I literally thumped my chest a couple times so it could go down easier. It’s a reflex action la, don’t question its effectiveness. As for the rest of the components — it may be hard to go wrong with cheese and onions on beef, but the brioche bun, though soft, was over-buttered. This was at best a mediocre burger. Truffle Fries, additional $ 3 with any house burger — While waiting for our food to be served, the adjacent table’s order for truffle fries arrived and I caught a whiff of the familiar gasoline smell as it passed me by. Naturally this fanned my anticipation(NOTTOMENTIONHUNGER) for my own order of fries. Unfortunately the fries I was served contained no discernible trace of truffle. When I stopped a waiter and gestured at the fries, he confirmed that they were truffle-flavoured. By then I was so ravenous I wasn’t sure if my taste buds were playing tricks on me, so I left it at that. In the event that no mistake had been made with my order, this would be the blandest truffle fries that I’ve ever tasted. I guess it’s obvious from my review that I won’t be returning to &Made anytime in the near future. Though the maître-d’s attentiveness and prompt service merits a mention, the long wait for food at much hyped-about eateries is justifiable only if the food manages to live up to its hype. If I’m looking to spend my money on food that’s lacklustre, I’m going to go somewhere that serves it fast.

I’ve eaten my fair share of burgers and I have to hand it to Menard’s Three Little Pigs, it’s a winner. It’s not the best burger I’ve ever had but it is definitely the best *pork* burger that’s found it’s way into my mouth. &Made gets points for that. The fries are also pretty good, although I opt for the garlic & vinegar over the truffle variety, and I super dig the relish that comes with the combination(I never did figure out whether it was for the burger or the fries or both). The place is poorly designed, however. Tables are too close together(probably in an effort to cram more covers in), the design is neo-diner, but since the addition of the Entrecôte menu and logo, it no longer has a cohesive identity. Is it an American diner? Is it a French bistro? I don’t know. And to some extent I don’t care because the burger is still pretty awesome. But I’m a furious pedant and these things cost &Made what would otherwise be a four star review on the strength of the burger alone. Oh yeah, and service is pretty hit & miss. PS. Do yourself a favour, whatever burger you’re getting, get it with extra bacon.

I love a good Burger so I was excited to try this place for a long time. Unfortunately the reviews were right. I had the B Burger with a salad instead of the fries. The salad had almost no dressing whatsoever and the beef patty in the burger had no seasoning at all. Pretty sad. The bun and the mayo was tasty but you still need to season your beef to get a good overall taste. I’m not sure if I come again.

I really was not impressed by this place. I’d read mixed reviews but my friend was very curious since this place is opened by a Michelin-starred chef, so hither we ventured. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon around 12pm, it was just us and another table. However, it still took us actually signaling for a waiter and asking(AFTER having ordered and indicated that we wanted water, too), before we were served any water! My friend had been sitting there for 5 mins before we arrived and there was no water served to her either. Given that just one other table was occupied, this is really pathetic. However, I have to say that they redeemed themselves later on as the servers were very attentive about filling up our water at intervals(after more people started coming in towards 1pm). Also pretty attentive wrt removing my plate when I was done with my food. That was appreciated. On to the food… I was quite underwhelmed by the B burger. While I’m not overly fond of burgers, I figured I possess the sandwich maker that the toastoos are made from and hence was not willing to pay $ 14+ for something I could conceivably make at home. So, I figured the signature B burger would be a good choice to test the waters. As some other reviews have mentioned, the beef patty is somewhat chunkier and so has more texture. Fine by me. Except that the first few bites of my patty revealed pieces of gristle, which I seriously have never encountered in all the burgers I’ve eaten. The waiter informed me that this is normal. I was not quite convinced, but whatever. At least pieces of gristle stopped appearing after my fifth bite or so, but my opinion of this restaurant definitely sank with this experience. Bun was fluffy and nicely toasted on the inside, made me think of In-n-Out [yeah California!!], although truthfully I’d rather have an In-N-Out burger any day and that costs like US$ 2 as opposed to $ 19 for this. The caper garlic sauce was certainly flavourful and creamy. Otherwise, the onion confit and comte cheese tasted quite normal. My friend didn’t find anything remarkable about her Foie Gras burger, but said that at least they did do the Foie Gras pretty well. Oh, I didn’t want fries with my burger so I substituted a salad. The dressing was unexpectedly tangy and good! Also, the homemade BBQ sauce was remarkable. These two points were probably the highlight of my meal(which is, a little sad, to say the least).

Who doesn’t like a good burger right(even vegetarians have a choice at some places too!)? I wanted to try &Made after hearing about Bruno Menard’s culinary accolades elsewhere. There were a few hits and misses with our meal showing even Michelin rated chefs can’t always hit a home run. Appetizers — the toastoos(crepes) were strange. The chili crab filling was too thick and bland. The salmon was oddly flavored(smoked, uncooked salmon would have been better). The tomato salad drink/gazpacho had a silky, well seasoned taste and the accompanying savory madelines were delicious. Burgers — I liked the flavors and texture of my 3 lil pigs. I love chorizo so you can’t go too wrong with a trio of porks paired with the buttery brioche bun. The kimchee burger is a little odd and again not as flavorful as we expected from kimchee. We chose to have truffles fries with the burger and they were tasty but could have been filled with more truffle flavor(perhaps have truffle salt in addition to truffle oil). Desserts — the lava/molten chocolate cake was gooey and full of good cocoa flavor. Too bad there was a piece of plastic inside my dessert. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations so you are out of luck if you are a big group(we waited over 30 minutes). Verdict — I would try it again with one or two people and have the B burger. It’s a solid ok, but don’t expect 3 star Michelin food for every dish.

This place has an interesting selection of burgers but what a disappointment when you try them… We were 2 so we decided to try the 2 burgers of the day. The«B» Burger with foie gras and the«B» Burger with lobster. All I can say is that both burgers had no taste and the fries too. Maybe we ordered the wrong burgers, but it is still disappointing when you know this place is run by a Michelin starred Chef. However, I like the presentation of the burger and fries when served.

The good: Location is convenient for Orchard/downtown area. Space is nice and the most stand-out positive thing was the staff. Greeted at the door, ushered to my seat, menu recommendations and plenty of water throughout my meal. Even had a group«goodbye» from the chefs on my way out, cudos. The bad: I hate to say it, but the burger lacks flavor. Similar to DB’s, it comes out looking delicious, and when you bite down the texture of the warm soft bun and juicy meat is really great. But wait, where is the taste? Nowhere to be found… completely bland. I even asked for a side of ketchup, to which I was served homemade paste(looked and tasted terrible) that even Clark Griswold wouldn’t eat. My frustration grew after eating a few of their McDonald style fries, which were also bland. I just kept thinking, how is it possible to make such a tasteless burger? The ugly: Given the price, there is a very small chance I’ll be back to try their duck and pork burgers. Most places around haven’t learned that its not about bigger or gourmet when it comes to burgers, it’s about taste.

As you know, there isn’t many good burger places in Singapore. So when I heard that a 3 michelin starred chef is in town to have his restaurant’s burgers painstakingly Handmade. I knew that I had to try it for myself. I had the 3 lil pigs burger, while my partner had the B burger. However, since we shared food, I get to try the delicious B burger too. Yay to me! ;) Overall, B burger is definitely the winner! However, there are other burgers to try when I return. For instance, the duck confit burger and the chili crab toastoos. We added $ 3 each to get the truffle fries instead. Those fries were made heavenly, partly due to the truffle oil and partly due to me being hungry. One more thing, I totally dig the design of the restaurant. They use mosaic tiles to create video games characters on the wall. They also have the video games characters on their paper menu as well. Please look up their ceiling and you will find black and red lines running along the ceiling, depicting the lines to their lightings. Thumbs up for the design and I will certainly be back!

Cute place that serves modern burger. Other than the ‘B’ burger, which is the most standard version, &Made also serves burgers with a twist like the duck confit burger and the 3 pork burger or something. I personally prefer my burger traditional but theirs are definitely worth a try. I also had the macaroni, seaweed, shrimp salad and it was good, probably the best item on the menu. The portion is way too big to be finished alone though. On the other hand, their crepes/toastoo was disappointing. It was dry, boring and left a lot to be desired for. I may not come back to this place, but I definitely did not regret trying it.

Michelin chef on the cheap. The burgers are yummy, as well as their fries. They also have this soup that you drink out of a glass. Kind of novel, but then you tend to slurp it up, and it gets salty. They served the soup with bread, so it was more filling than I thought it would be(especially with a burger). I found their toastooos disappointing though. It’s just a little cheaper than the burger, but they are really small and don’t feel you up.

«Handmade», some kinda pun? Named after French Chef Bruno Menard who helmed this fun and chic brasserie — &Made is here to make you relish your meal in the most relaxed manner. Chef Bruno Menard, famed for earning three Michelin-stars for L’Osier, a french restaurant at Ginza, Tokyo. It has been the talk of the town at that point in time until it was temporary closed when its anchoring building was due for a rebuilt in March 2011. Undoubtedly, it saddens many in Japan but here, we are overjoyed by the news that Bruno is moving on to Singapore to set up his first restaurant in collaboration with Deliciae Hospitality Group. Allowing a week’s time(officially opened on 16 July, 2012) for them to sort out any teething issues, I decided to patronize only today. Not made to serve the upscale, the brasserie welcome groups of casual diners from all walks. Accordingly, the lunch crowds(2 full sessions lately) were mostly made up of guests clad in office attire in the vicinity; but that doesn’t generalize the class of people that are attracted to this new funky eatery. As observed, the dinner hour has been bustled with whopper-goers which includes me. Pushed the door opened and you are being transported to its pixel environs. Believe me, I have never seen a place with such a witty setup. The ceiling at the main dining area mimics a populated circuit board with conductive traces — ending with raw wires dangling with lighted bulbs. How very cool! While the booth seats(dressed in white shiny oblong tiles) area were lighted with a amusing«submarine window»?! I must thank Treyna, the restaurant manager for taking my reservation on the first day of its opening(the eatery allows a NO reservation policy) and giving me a booth seat even for 2. The simple gesture touched me. In effective, the whole team at &Made did a good job in ensuring that everyone have a good time. I saw people like Laurent Perez, Olivier Bendel from the management team of Deliciae, working on the shop floor — serving the customers and constantly checking if the food was good. The service team has been very alert and well-mannered. The«B» burger was named after Bruno — and in my opinion it fared better than the 3-little-pigs in essence. Served in slate-colored Revol Basalt porcelain plate and bamboo tray; the burger was full of substance — the medium cooked dry-aged beef has a good intensifying natural beef flavor. It has been said that only prime cuts are used for dry-aged and the lengthy process can be costly. The minced beef is tender and although it was less moist. But that’s the end-result of dry-aged, supposedly to loose its moisture in order to keep its natural flavor intact. So, please do not blamed the kitchen for poor skill or alike. I loved the beef for its chunkiness, not overly minced — I still get to chew on some part. It tasted more delightful with the caramelized onions sandwiched between the 2 airy sesame buns. The matchstick fries were delightfully crisp and evenly salted. I enjoyed them being chili powdered, yet not too peppery. The chef-made dipping sauce — sweet and somewhat vinegary, adds a lovely kick to the elongated deep-fried. To beef out $ 19 for a burger can be somewhat hefty, but the taste’s worth the tag. The 3 Little Pigs — main cast: Bacon, Pork fillet & chorizo patty, on the other hand was the runner up. While R preferred this over the beef, I felt the opposite(that’s to say, everyone will not leave the eatery without something they liked). I didn’t quite like the intense porky flavor but the Japanese cabbage and pickles refreshed up the meat quite a bit. The yuzu-kosho mayonnaise helped to balanced up the taste and the lightly browned sesame buns got a good buttery aroma which was not overly greasy. I tried the unusual salad-to-drink, marking YELLOW for the day. It was a blend with carrot, orange and ginger. It was a good try, though I didn’t finish the bottle — too tart but the mild-mannered ginger. I could taste that they have added salt to even out the sourness but still, the blend wasn’t quite appealing. Instead, the bite-sized savories were delicious! They reminded me of some petite«pizza» which tasted buttery/slightly cheesy and pleasantly studded with diced capsicum. Treyna says she liked the GREEN for the potent mint flavor! Fine, I will try on my next visit. To mark the ending, I had the lollipop waffle. Shaped like a lollies — the soft, fluffy waffle cake was heavenly. Lightly salted in the batter with a distinguishable cinnamon aroma; I get drenched by the sweetness of chocolate sauce. Without a second, I find myself flooding the waffle with all the 3 sauces at one go — caramel, vanilla seeds filled white chocolate and my most-liked dark chocolate dip. I finally had my celestial fix!

I had the B burger when I was at &made. In fact, my entire table of 8 had the same thing. We’d heard many good things about the B burger and it certainly lived up to the hype. It’s probably the best burger I’ve had in Singapore and in my opinion, worth the $ 19++ price tag. The patty was thick and well seasoned, the bun was soft and just thick enough. The burger is simple, just cheese and caramelised onions, but it’s good enough to stand on its simplicity. I didn’t try anything else on the menu but if you do go to &made I would just recommend the B burger anyway. Don’t bother topping up for the truffle fries. The general consensus at the table was that they weren’t that great. So just focus on the burger! I was very happy at &made because it’s pretty hard to get a truly good burger in Singapore.

Burgers, one of the world’s best food invention. Think toasted buttery buns with sesame sprinkled on top, gushing juices from the meat patty and the refreshing crunch of greens. The sweet, savory, acidic and caramel taste assaulting your taste buds all at once. And the fries. Oh the fries. I love my burgers. After missing out on the short lived 5 minute In-n-Out excitement recently, i headed over to &Made by Bruno Menard to satisfy my burger craving. Even though it’s a diner, much thought has been put into the menu. It may look pedestrian on the first look– some burgers, sandwiches, fries and milkshakes; but if you look closer, it’s actually French cuisine, with some Japanese influence, made to look like American food. And American it was for me. The 3 Little Pigs(S$ 23) was my choice of artery clogging happiness– bacon, pork fillet and chorizo patty, smoky shiitake mushrooms, Japanese cabbage, Shibazuke pickles and Yuzu-kosho mayonnaise which is lightly spiced. Splendid burger. This was sensational and each bite was a juicy burst of flavors. All these were sandwiched between these toasted buttery brioche buns. I say throw away the fork and knife. Use your bear paws, grab them, squeeze them and squash the burger into your mouth. The burgers come with a side of fries. I opted for the truffle fries(+S$ 3) and they were crisp and fresh. There are other flavored salts like Maldon, Smoked and Garlic and Vinegar. Worthy of a mention is the tangy &Made BBQ sauce that accompanied the fries. It was blended with tomatoes and onion to give it that tangy acidity which is really refreshing. We gave the Farmer Toastoo(S$ 15) a go as well. This is a traditional buckwheat crêpe pressed in a toastee machine to give it that crispy crunch. If only it has a spongebob print on it. :) This is absolutely tres French with a twist in presentation. I’m not such a fan of the Farmer which contains cooked ham, caramelized onion and Racelette cheese fondue. The onion kinda overpowered the entire dish. The portion is also really small. :( To wrap things up, we order the sinfully delicious Hot Caramel Lava Cake(S$ 15). This takes 15mins to prepare but it’s definitely worth the wait. Once served, the waiter would make a precise incision and all that bitter caramel sauce will ooze out like a volcanic eruption. This is accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. I like the extra touch of French Gavottes Crêpe Dentelle Cookies that gives the dessert a needed crunch. The cake has a steamed cake quality, which reminded me of the Chinese Huat Kueh. I really enjoyed dining at &Made. It’s not just the food or the ambience but i think the service is impeccable. I felt so pampered by the friendly servers who took care of our every need even without us asking. Plates were immediately cleared once they sensed that we’re done. Love love love the people there. This is definitely a place i’ll go back to again, again and again. :)

Michelin star eh? The menu is filled with American diner food, but navigating it was incredibly confusing for me. Yeah, it’s kinda cute, with all sorts of illustrations on your place mat, but you’ll have to figure out how everything is arranged before discovering what salads or soup they serve. That said, the food came pretty quick. I was there for an early lunch, and found out that they offered a small breakfast selection from 10−11am. I asked about a baguette on that menu, but to no avail… I was 30 minutes too late, and the gates to baguette-land had already closed. I had the Macaroni and Shrimp salad, which turned out pretty awesome — pasta salad always does well with me, and with extra touches like the purple Shibazuke pickles and the roasted Korean seaweed pieces meant that dish was cleaned out. I also had s burger called 3 Little Pigs — bacon, pork filet and chorizo patty — and loads of Japanese flavours including those purple pickles, shiitake mushrooms, and some yuzu-kosho mayonnaise, that was a little hard to find under all the other stuff. That was pretty stellar, and I loved every bite of that bun too. Fries came in a little basket in the side, and I have to say the presentation was quite posh. The food was pretty tasty, but everything else… the banana-honey milkshake had a unripe banana«siap“ness to it, and the service was a kinda hit-and-miss, after you balance out the rockstar with a couple of mehs. I’d go again for the food, there’s lots to try and be wow-ed by, but let’s hope the rest of it picks up to match the place!

IMPORTANT: Note that this place does not do reservations so it is walk in only. I was tipped off to this new joint called &Made by a fellow foodie who told me that this place has burgers which are to die for. It was also 2 weeks old, which is really new. Add on to the fact that it is opened by a 3-star Michelin chef Bruno Menard. Of course I had to go check it out! Situated just behind That CD Shop at Pacific Plaza, I was actually expecting something a bit more formal, but turns out that it is a very casual style bistro, but not to say it is THAT casual. In fact, I really loved the décor. When we walked in on a week day night at 8 there was just a few more tables left, so lucky us. The space got a bit more empty after that though so I guess if you don’t want to wait then either come early or late. The restaurant had little knick knacks around that gave it character, like the giant & sign at the inner entrance. You can access it either from within the mall or from the side. It sits around 15 – 20 tables so in fact it is quite big, as I was expecting it to be quite small when looking in from the outside. The décor is done in black, white and red which are really nice simple colors. There are graffiti decals on the glass panels of the restaurant too which are fun to look at. Very atari. For the menu, its around 16 or 18 for salads, and 19 to low 20s for burgers. They also have sandwiches and some desserts. It is all very American diner style, but with touches of decadence such as the«Nice» salad and Truffle fries. They also offer some french pastries in the day which I thought was quite cute. So we ordered the«B» Burger($ 19) and the Macaroni & Shrimp Salad to share because we didn’t want to overdo the food amount. I really enjoyed the Macaroni & Shrimp salad. It was bursting with flavour and the dressing is light but just nice. The black bits you see are seaweed, which is a surprising addition. There are finely chopped shrimp which is sweet and fresh, with mini macaroni in a cream sauce. So yummy. Really addictive! Next, the«B» burger. Coated with BBQ sauce and layered with cheese and onions, it is a simple classic burger made with quality ingredients. The bun was alright, but the focus is on the patty. The beef patty was juicy, medium rare and very good. One thing about this whole meal was the fries however. They were simply TOO salty! It was the saltiest fries I’ve ever had, and we paid extra $ 3 to have it in Truffle too! I would have returned the fries and gotten some new ones but we were already halfway into them. Next time I will if it happens. So when you order do remember to ask them to go easy on the salt. Definitely would recommend this place if you have a hankering for good old American burgers that has the 3-star Michelin quality stamp on it. Enjoy the contemporary style and let me know if you liked it!
