Spa Infinity

After they closed down the orchard/​far east outlet without any prior informing, the one at suntec is not as good anymore
I felt cheated to sign on more packages with them because they did it by hard-​sell and lying to me that there are more options in 2015
It s now opened at suntec minus all the goodies:

I have frequented Spa Infinity since its inception as it is an offshoot from Spa Elements which I liked then.
Spa Infinity, located in the basement of Far East Shopping Center (where the car park is), has a good concept. A place with spa facilities (jacuzzi, steam room… not sure about sauna), lockers for clothes and belongings, sarongs for the jacuzzi, robes and slippers for walking around the spa. I can only comment on the ladies section/​changing room, not sure what there is in the men room. There are also a water cooler for both hot and cold water, combs, toothbrushes, hair dryers, lotions etc to use.
The spa also has a mini café for customers who want to dine there (not sure of the menu or if they are of the healthy variety). A lounging/​waiting area with comfortable big armchairs and sofas scattered around. Magazines and newspapers to read. Recliners at the back of the room with the tv turned on (muted sound) and 2 vibration machines to use while waiting for your treatment or after your treatment.
There are many rooms so it should be quite easy to get an appointment. They are opened everyday, including most public holidays. But since they keep doing promotion with Groupons and what not, I am not sure how easy it can be to get an appointment if you hold those voucher.
Frankly, I try to avoid places (esp beauty places) which always have promotions with such bulk buying deal sites as it is almost impossible to get an appointment slot. That also explains why I no longer go to Spa Infinity after my package ended last month.
They tend to hire many massage therapists from China so the styles are more Tui Na which I dislike. I do not want to be pummelled or be left with soreness after a massage. A tip given to me was to tell them you want a Swedish massage, then the pressure will be better (i.e. their version of Swedish massage is a firm massage instead of a painful massage: p) Or you could always ask for recommendation when you call for an appointment for the types of massage you prefer.
The massage room is quite small, then again you just need to disrobe, so you don’t need a big space to put your clothes or belonging anyway.
Tea will be served at the end of the treatment. But be prepared of a hard-​sell. They can be quite relentless.
