The 7th Cylinder

First off, I megalove the ambience. Skylight, black and white, quiet, calm, unique motifs and over all theme. Reminds me a bit of the Folsom area in SF (but that may just be wishful thinking). They even painted the power points black –as my dad so helpfully pointed out.
BUT okay, I have to be honest. The Music could do with some improvement — stop with the darn radio. For serious. Figure out your theme and get a soundtrack that fits. Please.
Food — It’s only been around for one month so hey, I’m sure they’ll improve (crossed fingers) but so far nothing very original when it comes to omnomnoms. I ordered the ERP eggs: scrambled eggs with toasted bread, blueberry preserves, and side salad. Salad was fresh, bread was good, and scrambled eggs were scrambled. They did okay with this — but I’d want to see what else they come up with.
Coffee. Oh coffee. And this is what made me want to write a review for them.
I ADORE coffee served in large mugs. I go crazy if the mugs are black. I will literally come back here just. for. my. caffeine. fix. #truth #givememore
Hot chocolate (oh my word yes yes yes yes YES) they beat Drury Lane hands down. And I love Drury Lane but give me hot chocolate (in a black mug!!!) with a good froth layer sprinkled with chocolate flakes ANYTIME. I hateeee when they put hot chocolate in a tiny latte cup.
