S&S is all about burgers and beer. The staff are super-friendly, and I got a really good vibe from the place. I don’t drink alcohol, but they were very nice about getting me a(free) glass of water. I was there for the wagyu burger($ 19), and it was delicious. There are 4 burger types, I got the Mexican burger and it really hit the spot. The fries had an herbal seasoning and came with their skin. Almost like the U.S. chain’s In N’ Out fries in terms of freshness and quality, but taking it up a notch with herbal seasoning. Food was great, but I’m not sure who I’d bring here. There are 10 bottled beers on the menu, 1 on tap, some wine, etc, and a full bar. So that’s all good, but there’s a limited food menu of burgers(beef, chicken), or fries. So it’d be hard to bring a group of people here for beer, because the only appetizer would be fries. Either everyone has to commit to having a burger for dinner, or you’re just drinking and smoking, so you wouldn’t hang out here for a long time before moving on to a place with more eats. If they had more appetizer/nibbles, then it’d be easier to bring friends here. That being said, their wagyu burger was delicious. So limited menu, but fabulous food.
