I’m giving this a 4 stars, based solely on the fact that they give double shot espressos to all iced coffee drinks at no extra charge. Their iced cappuccino was pretty damn good at $ 5.90. Decent price for a decent size glass. Yums. I added $ 0.60 to switch for soy. I didn’t have their sarnies or soups. I did however get their buttermilk waffles with caramelized bananas and salted caramel with vanilla ice-cream. $ 12.90 only. Not bad! I liked the doughiness of the waffles(although my cousin prefers a crunchier one. I do not. I like them doughy). In my books, everything worked. The interior is cosy(read: hole in a wall). It wasn’t particularly full so I didn’t feel claustrophobic. I just don’t get why Cake Spade — its immediate next-door neighbor — gets so much business when their coffee is more expensive & their cakes dry and yucky. I’m definitely coming back. The servers(not sure if they were the owners) were friendly and chatty. Why not spend a nice Saturday afternoon just chillaxing at Souper Sarnies? Oh. They have great selection of music too. Now, if only they give free wifi…

Okay, okay, not a bad place for lunch. A sandwich(or sarnie, if you’re Australian and lame) will set back at least $ 7. Not bad, I suppose, for a fresh sandwich? I def. do not recommend the salad. It’s small, measly and expensive. I rather go to Cedele, which has pretty good salads. Décor is quite cute with hand drawn pictures that are scattered about. Would I visit this place again? Meh. Probably not. There are better options out there. I will recommend this place to those who like sandwiches though! No to soup lovers. Souper Sarnies’ soup are not souper.
