Really depends what salad you pick. The amount of feta cheese in the feta cheese salad is microscopic. No big chunks, I think there was more olive oil than feta cheese itself. Seriously, make it $ 2 more expensive and add some proper amount of feta into it. I had chicken salad before and it was OK. Nothing exceptional.

Pretty good wraps place in the area, although its still pricier than I would like it to be. That is why it’s never really my go-to regular lunch place. But it does what it sets out to do well. Enjoyed the baked salmon wrap, really filling!

Meh, I’d give this place 2.5 stars. When I am desperate for food and don’t want to walk far, I see what is on offer at Icon Village. I’ve never been to this joint before and there was a line so I was intrigued. Ordered the daily special wrap Tandoori Chicken with the soup of the day(pumpkin soup) for an additional $ 2.90. The soup was disgusting. I have a high tolerance for bad food but this was ridiculously bad. The wrap was okay. The ingredients seemed fresh and the wrap was overall tasty and had a bit of a spicy kick. It was the perfect size to fill me up for dinner. What I didn’t like was the nasty feeling afterwards when you’ve eaten too much salt. They must have loaded the wrap or soup or both with a lot of salt. DISLIKE.

The place is a staple in my diet. A few months back, this was the ONLY salad option in Tanjong Pagar. Shocking, right? Now, it is one of the very few in the area that I continuously visit. The reason being, I call their Chicken Caesar wraps a miracle. And I’ll tell you why. A few months ago(not even a year ago!), my bf refused to eat salads unless they were literally swimming in Ranch or Thousand Island dressing. He stuck his nose in the air towards salads, but mostly wraps for being«wannabe steak burritos or hippie hoagies.» When I brought him home a S&W’s CC wrap one day, he was blown away! Meat? Check. Eggs? Check. Cheese? Check. Bacon? Check. And this place doesn’t skimp, folks! The CC wrap isn’t the healthiest option, but in due time, the bf gradually appreciated a healthier lifestyle. These days, he still eats the S&W’S CC wrap but only on special days when he’s a good boy. Otherwise, he’s perfectly content with a salad consisting of simply lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Ain’t that a miracle?

Salads are a tricky issue for me because it is usually a struggle to convince myself that I should pay 12 bucks for something that I can easily throw together at home. But after gorging on too much chicken rice at Maxwell, I finally found myself standing sheepishly in front of Salads & Wraps, parting with said money in order to feel slightly better about my eating habits. All the little containers of fresh vegetables lined up neatly in the cooler was actually quite enticing. You can pick from a range of salads and wraps off their menu or create something of your own. Had the tuna pesto pasta salad and it was pretty good! Generous tuna flakes are tossed with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pine nuts and fusilli. The pesto sauce adds a nice touch of saltiness without overwhelming the salad. Ordered the regular($ 10) due to sheer greediness but I think the junior($ 8) would have been a better choice. Quite a number of my colleagues have become fans of the caeser salad because of the dressing so you can give that a chance as well. All in all, a great stop for a guilt-free meal but still slightly on the pricey side.

I’m a fan of turning my salad into a wrap because I guess I’m such a lazy eater. So a place called«Salads&Wraps»(no-frills name) should satisfy me quite good! I like the choices that I have for ingredients(they’re not as extensive as salad stop but still satisfying) — you can either choose your own ingredients of something off the menu. I’m picky so I decided to choose my own — I got chicken as my protein and I get about 6 choices of throw-ins — you can choose from a range of vegetables like lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, olives, beans, pasta, boiled eggs, beetroot, etc. It’s extra cost for some of the nuts like pine nuts or almonds — I always like an extra crunch in my salad for texture so I don’t mind paying extra for those. They’re wrapped in a tortilla and then toasted. I loved the combination of all my choices! They tasted fresh, healthy and very very filling! My friend had something off the menu which was also really delicious — the tropical chicken, it had a really nice flavour from the sweet mango chutney. The wraps cost about $ 8 — $ 9. There is a small corner on the left where you can sit on small stools and devour your sandwiches quickly, there’s also a tissue box on the table so you can sit there for a fuss-free quick lunch! Final verdict: Will definitely be back to try more salads in a wrap!

Another pretty decent salad place in the Tanjong Pagar area. They have a pretty good variety here, plus you can turn your salads into wraps! You can choose to have a Speciality Salad or Wrap off their menu with pre-determined ingredients or if you’re like me and can’t stand certain veggies, you can also create your own. Same goes for the wrap. You can also choose whether you want a Regular or Junior size for your salads. I usually take the Regular because I like a lot of veggies but it can get pretty filling. The variety of the ingredients too is pretty good. They have everything from pasta to raisins for you to add into your salad or wrap. The only downside is that they don’t have seats so it’s mainly a grab’n’go kind of place. First thing you do when you get there is to place your order over the counter. The nice girl will give you a number tag to hold onto. It can get pretty crowded during lunch time with office folk from around the area so I would recommend that you go a little later if you don’t want to queue and wait for your turn. I usually come here at about 1:30pm and I only have to wait 5 minutes max for my food. So after placing your order, you just wait for them to call out your number to collect your food. Besides the salads and wraps, they also have juices and drinks by the side so just grab what you want and pay for it together with your salad. It’s overall a pretty a-ok place if you want some good salad and are short for time. But like I mentioned, no much seating available so head some where else to enjoy your food.
