They had a great happy hour special before 8pm. The fish and chips were good but the tartar sauce was the best I’ve had! The black pepper chicken was also very tasty. Andy the manager chatted with us and was a really nice guy. Definitely retuning to this restaurant!

This is my favorite pub-stop in Holland Village. I usually don’t praise a beer just on its«freshness», but they are true to their word. The beer really does taste… fresh. Don’t come here looking for a Carlsberg. They only have the house beer: lager, aromatic, or dunkel. The dunkel is my favorite, but because of its apparently high sugar content I switch to the aromatic if I’m going to have more than one. The food is respectable pub-food. The beer is the main draw, but they’ll serve up a satisfying dinner if you want to stay past happy hour. Try the truffle fries if you just want a snack. Speaking of happy hour, the hours are generous but the beer is pretty pricey during the«regular» hours. I was there are a Tuesday once and it was happy hour all night. Not sure if that’s a regular thing…

My favorite place to go for beer. Beer only. I can’t say much about the food, but I am absolutely in love with their fresh aromatic beer! It tastes fresh and flavorful without being too heavy, and the best part is, they swap out your beer mugs regularly so your beer stays cold! I strongly recommend this to beer lovers, and anyone who has a penchant for tasty, fresh beer!

I never wanted to walk in here when it was known as Overtime. But now that it’s a Stärker, I somehow felt compelled to drop by. That and the fact that I saw a frosty pint of dunkel slowly just starting to sweat on a table when I was walking by on my way to wala wala might have changed my mind today. Damn you white German looking dude and your dunkel! I think this just might be a good place to stop walking next time… I’m thinking about 10 steps too far. Especially if they keep serving up this lovingly crafted dunkel.
