This lounge is relatively small, but sufficient. The wifi is reliable and the food options are decent. There are no flight announcements, so be mindful! The upper level that has the bathrooms is definitely nicer. And it’s only a half flight of stairs up if you have luggage with you. It’s quieter and darker — more conducive to sleep. And there is food up there as well so you don’t have to go up and down if you don’t want to. However, I feel the wifi isnt as strong upstairs. I’ve been to better lounges, and I’ve been to worse.

I was expecting quite a bit when I accessed the Dnata Skyview lounge. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of the nicer Priority Pass lounges @ Changi, but the food/drink services are lacking. On the other hand, the attendants were awesome! I had arrived around 1am, and one of them kindly guided me to a quiet dark room in the upper section of the lounge. I managed to sleep for about 2.5hrs on the reclined chair, and then woke up for a quick snack of a croissant and cappuccino pre-flight. Honestly, I think Cathay can do better, and should build their own lounge in Changi considering how many flights they have ex-SIN.

The least nice of the four lounges I lounged in during a recent trip to Singapore. It’s fine, but the airport itself is so nice that the Skyview Lounge is not the typical respite from crazy that lounges are in other airports. I mean there was a free massage chair near my gate. I had a glass of wine and the food looked OK. If I were looking for a meal in Changi I would probably go to one of the restaurants, which look much better.

I seriously don’t know why I even bother stopping at this lounge. The selection of food is terrible at best. I would rather go and hang out at the Starbucks. At least you can get decent coffee and an edible snack there. Seriously, Cathay Pacific should be embarrassed by this lounge. The lounges in Hong Kong are very nice, they should have something similar in Singapore.

Contrary to the information found on the SkyTeam website, if you are a Delta SkyTeam Elite Plus flyer(Gold/Platinum/Diamond) you don’t actually get access to this lounge if you’re not flying in BusinessElite. Thankfully, this lounge does participate in Priority Pass. I had a mixed experience here. The lounge mezzanine area is fairly small, and you’d do much better taking the few steps up to the higher levels of the lounge for nicer seating. The thing is, if you’re dragging a wheeled carry-on, there’s no lift or other means to get upstairs easily. Still — the food and drink options were quite good, the wifi was free, and shower facilities had no wait in addition to being quite clean. It’s not a Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, but it’s a decent area to kill some time ahead of your flight. Just be sure to have Priority Pass or be flying in Business or First for your airline.

The lounge area was spacious. There are two separate large rooms so plenty of seating was available although the low back chairs are not that comfy. The food and snack selection was varied and nothing stuck out as great. It included sandwiches, hot dishes(rice, steamed veggies, chicken dish) veggie samosas, curry chicken pockets, mini desserts and a few other items. The mini desserts were probably the highlight, but I’m a sucker for dessert. I liked the full serve espresso machine and the big cooler of drinks(sodas, water, Tiger beer). It was nice to see the food was being refreshed regularly and old items being removed. The wifi was pretty fast for free access.

Towards the end of departure level by D concourse, take narrow escalator up to 2nd level Small lounge with open air seating, seats are very close to others so very little privacy, however, if you walk to the back, their is a stairway leading up to another level/room with additional seating, didn’t bother to try Hot food choices– white rice, sweet/sour fish, steams vegetables, curry meat dish, minestrone soup Cold choices– breads/muffins/danishes/sandwiches A step up from sitting in the airport areas,

Only one of two 24-hour airport lounges in Terminal 1 at Changi. Although this isn’t any lounge comparable to The Wing lounge at the Hong Kong Int’l Airport, this lounge is sufficient in comfort, service and selection. It’s unremarkable but it serves its purpose when it’s 5 in the morning… The Skyview lounge is also referred to as the«Cathay Pacific/Skyview lounge» but shares the space with other Asia-based airlines. There are ceiling to floor windows, so there’s your sky view. Breakfast selection was good — hot foods, continental goods, and local delights for that last chance of cultural experience on the ground. Beer and wine — available at breakfast for those who need it. Plenty of space to be alone and relax before your flight. It’s on the second level so you’re not eye-level with the bustling foot/luggage traffic. Just a quick note about Changi though — there’s one more x-ray check at each gate on hand luggage right before you hand your boarding pass to the staff, so give yourself enough time.
