From the plush and comfy seats to the plethora of food I have no complaints about this lounge. The dark neutral interior lends to a peaceful chill out vibe before boarding your flight to wherever your destination. Personally, I always have a small bowl of cold soba noodles before taking off, it’s just a ritual I’ve developed with my hubs. Super clean digs and the personnel are more than helpful, I can’t give silver kris enough stars!

I’ve been in many business class lounges and the Kris lounges are still the best. Best food and best service. I like checking in early so I can chill at the lounge. Many other lounges are catching up. ANA, Emirates, and Qatar just to name a few. So transiting while flying business is a lot more relaxing these days. Now if only the American carriers would catch up. It’ll make my domestic transit more enjoyable.

try to keep it short, as already plenty of reviews are available: very friendly service staff is welcoming you at the door. The lounge has an «open room» concept and is mainly consisting of one big hall. For my point of view, there is not enough privacy and seating area is too much crowded; you are interfering with other guest legs… You will find plenty of different dishes and finger food. Alcoholic-/non alcoholic bar is self service and good stuffed. No shower room available(at least I haven´t found one :))

It’s good but not great. I’m a bigger Fan of what Qantas does and Emirates. It’s just another lounge with some bread and heated food. Think you can get this at any international airport these days — very generic all round. But when in transit any lounge with a shower is going to be my favorite!

Singapore review #4 I have to say, of the business class lounges I’ve been able to enjoy in various airports on this big blue marble, this Singapore Airlines lounge is by far the most impressive! Of course Singapore airlines itself is impressive, but that’s another review. This lounge area is quite large with a number of seating areas and plenty of pretty comfy seats. There is also a small sleeping area(darker, less noise) to grab some shut-eye, as well as computers with fast internet access(Wi-Fi too). The one feature they have and I REALLY appreciate, are the shower rooms! Available on a first come /first served basis, they are very nicely designed, clean and efficient. Having the ability to take a shower after a 12+ hour flight is wonderfully invigorating! Are you hungry or thirsty? No problem! There is plenty of hot food, snacks and numerous beverages to choose from! OVERALL: This is an awesome lounge with great food, service and plenty of space. I can’t think of any other place I want to be during those long layovers, because they don’t feel as long when you’re here. You must check it out!

I really liked Singapore Airlines, until I arrived at Changi and their rude Kris Lounge attendants. Singapore Airlines told me the Singapore Airlines lounge doesn’t accept Gold Star Alliance members so go walk around an empty airport at 3am while everything is closed, we know you have had 20 hrs of traveling, but go lie on an airport floor. We don’t care. I flew on Singapore all the way from LA via Tokyo — but while waiting for my connection they were happy to refuse me entry to a lounge that ANA at Tokyo Narita gladly accepted gold and other Star Alliance members to while I connected? What’s the point of being Star Alliance Gold and flying on Singapore Airlines if they won’t allow you access to as little as their transit lounge? Yet another Star Alliance airline that offers nothing to members of their own alliance but only of their own airline.

The Private Room is the best lounge in the world. Period. It’s also an amazing restaurant, especially their congee and burger(with foie gras). which are sublime. The dim sum is average, and the chirashi uses frozen(but fresh) fish so the taste is a bit off but I am comparing it to a. eal sushi place — for an airport this is 5*. Never tried any of the other western dishes but they are probably amazing too. Also one of the best Singapore Slings I’ve ever had. And EXTREMELY potent. Only an F/A fare ticket gets you in here(plus discretionary choice made by the checkin agent).

I have been to a lot of lounges in the world and this is easily one of the best for a tired traveler. The one drawback is there are no beds to sleep on. The breakfast has an assortment of cold and hot items and the lounge itself is very updated. Of the two lounges in Singapore if you are flying First Class you have the choice of this lounge or the Business side. Stay in the First class side for peace and quiet get the food on the business side. The business side since there are far more travelers has probably twice or three times the choices. Just remember if you are at least on Gold on the star alliance you can go to this lounge. Don’t let them push you to the SATs lounge.

Good real food vs the Gold lounge. The place was packed at 11pm at night. The shower sucks, compared to EVA or ANA business lounges. I thought the experience would be better since they took out *A Gold flyers on economy, but nope, the product did not impress at all.

You know an airline has done well in the lounge department when passengers purposefully flock through customs early, just to catch a break at the Silver Kris Lounge. As the hometown airline’s airport lounge, SIA pulled out all the stops to ensure that passengers feel valued, comfortable and are extremely well fed. In Terminal 3 there are an array of lounges that passengers can enjoy depending on their frequent flyer and/or flight class: The Private Room — exclusively for Suites/First Class Passengers The SilverKris Lounge — there are two sections, one for PPS Club members or First Class passengers and one for Business Class/Star Alliance equivalent members.(The former is much quieter with, what I found to be a higher quality of food) The Krisflyer Gold Lounge — Gold members flying Economy Class Generally, I’m in the Silver Kris lounge before heading back to Australia and it’s a great excuse for me to load up on local goodies like Soya Bean Milk, Dim Sum and Nasi Lemak. I also more or less always grab some sushi and finish off with a drink and a cheese plate. There are 3 bars, which is imperative around evening time when the lounge starts to fill up and get extremely busy. It doesn’t get the full five stars because when it’s cramped, you can barely find a seat! Features: International Buffet and various Small Bars Business Centre with Macs and Windows PC Communal Dining Areas Magazines and Books section Telephone Bathroom/Shower If you’ve got a long flight ahead or were in a rush to get to the airport — this is the perfect place to make a pitstop to grab some food, charge your electronics and catch up on some last minute work before your flight!

This is the business class lounge for Singapore Airlines in Changi Airport. I really like the interior design, a mix of marble tables and brown furniture. There is plenty of seats available, and the breakfast selection was decent when I visited the lounge.

I love Singapore Airlines, and the lounge is no different. It’s awesomeee! You can make free local calls in the phone booth, use the PC or Mac computers and free wifi, eat the DELICIOUS food, drink both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and relax in the comfy chairs. There are always people waiting to help you or take your dishes. The Silver Kris lounge is definitely a nice place to spend your layover, but it is also a great end to a vacation in SIngapore. :)

I’m sitting here typing this review 7 hours in in to a 10 hour wait for my flight to Houston via Moscow. I got here early to experience all that The Private Room(the most exclusive part of the SKL) has to offer. When I got here I asked if there was a chance to get some sleep and oen of the attendants grabbed some pillows and a Givenchy blanket and set me up in a private room within The Private Room and I dozed off for a few hours. This was my first taste of The Private Room service, and it’s amazing. Now for those of you don’t know about The Private Room, it’s a special section of the Silver Kris lounge, located on the First Class side, which is accessible only to those flying in first class on Singapore Airlines flights. The big difference between the First Class area of the SKL and The Private Room is service. In the first class lounge it is all self service. Here in TPR everything is brought to you by ever attentive attendants. These attendants are on top of their game. They know who you are as your personal assistant who helps you through check in(at the First Class Check In area) has told them who you are(you never even have to show your ticket). Anyway back to the experience. I’m on about my sixth diet coke. I’ve never requested a refill, they just come. I also have already enjoyed Chilean Sea Bass freshly prepared in parchment and very tasty and flaky, though I must admit something was slightly off, but I’d rate the food very good. I also had a mixed green salad, which is hard to mess up, and they didn’t mess it up. I also grabbed myself some hummus and vegetable crudités. Veggies were awesome and the hummus really really good, in fact some of the best I’ve had in a while. The appetizer area has a few hot food items you can get yourself and other things. The selection is not as extensive as in the less exclusive FCL section but if it is not out they’ll grab whatever you want. I’m sure this is boring you so I’ll end it soon. Comparing this lounge to the Lufthansa First Class Terminal I have to say i prefer the design and amenities of the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt(showers are much nicer there, and a drive to the plane is great too), but the service there is definitely not at the same level, not even close. I actually prefer being able to relax and order whatever I want off the menu vs self serve, and the presentation and service here really is top notch. Now I do wish they had a real set of sleeping rooms, better bathroom facilities(though the bathrooms are by no means bad and the Ferragamo amenities are great). I’m going to give this lounge five stars since I doubt most people who use it will ever get to experience anything better, and in my opinion it is one of the top two lounges in the world, which definitely deserves five stars. As a reminder, this rating is for the The Private Room section of the lounge, not the FCL or the Business Class SKL. Now back to enjoy my last couple of hours in the lounge and a final pre-flying meal, as I’ve got a looooong way to go before I’m back in the states.

The SilverKris Lounges for Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance Passengers are located in each of the SQ Terminals. Mostly I use the one in Terminal 3 but the Terminal 2 Lounge got a renovation recently so it is decent as well. For SIA First Class Passengers the T3 Lounge als has The Private Room and also a proper drive up check in outside ahead of the terminal with a small seperate immigration counter. There was a time when this lounge wowed me but SIN being a hub airport it got way too busy and at the same time way too many people have access to the lounge. The private room is really the only real sanctuary there is. The Silver Kris Business Class Lounge is accessible to Business Class Passengers booked on Singapore Airlines & Star Alliance as well as SQPPS Club Members. Star Alliance Gold members traveling in Economy Class have access to the fairly new Gold Lounge. The SilverKris First Class Lounge can be used for First Class Passengers on Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance as well as SQ Solitaire Members. The Private Room section is exclusively reserved for passengers flying First Class on SIA Flights only. It includes a full service restaurant. It is still a nice lounge but just the wow effect is gone. Also recently they scrapped even 100plus from their beverage list. That alone warrants a minus. Cheers –s

Sadly, I call this place my third home since I spend 3 – 4 hours a week in here. Yes, a typical consultant life. Nice and clean compared to other lounges. Food could be better but I am satisfied here. If they had nicer chairs and a shower, I would totally give them a 5-star rating but not until then. Oh. One more. There is no bathroom inside, which makes it a little more inconvenient.

Located in T3, and there is one lounge for First Class and one for Business Class. If you are Star Alliance Gold and flying Economy Class, you are not allowed to use — there is another lounge dedicated for that purpose, and the specific lounge is major stepdown from Silver Kris, FYI. Even at the Business Class Lounge, food selection is massive(self service/buffet style — Chinese/Western/Indian/Japanese) and the lounge space is huge. Servers are frequently walking around to replenish food and remove used dishes from lounge area, so the place seems to be well-maintained. There is a huge business center where you can surf Internet through their desktops. Shower facility is inside of bathroom section. One downside is that I am not sure what those customer service agents at the lounge exactly do as they always make me call the reservation line when I need to make simple changes or seek any additional information???
