Walked by this place so many times and ignored the heck out of it. I couldn’t take it seriously b/c they misspelled WRAPS! Dude, there’s only one P. Oh wait, are they trying to be cute or different? I don’t know. There’s a spot downstairs called TOSSZ Salad… Why the extra Z? go figure. Anyhoo, we ordered a couple of wraps and the folks behind the counter were very friendly, patient, and helpful in telling us what the difference was between the wraps and the choices we had for types of wrappings. I could tell they took time and effort and pride in making the wraps and serving it to us which was quite nice and a change of pace from usual fast food service in SG. The wraps were tasty too! I had a Seoul Food kim chi with chicken wrapped in stretched naan. Sounds weird but it weirdly worked. The wraps are HUGE too, so if you’re hungry and want a healthy but filling meal, this is your spot!

I have to confess that I wasn’t as wowed by this place as Debbie was, which is a pity! It is cool that they have several different flavours of wraps and they’re all pressed on a grill before being put in the funky covering(which you can tear off layer by layer, pretty cool — but when you reach the bottom of the wrap there are no more layers left to tear off and you just have to get creative with folding if you don’t want to touch the wrap with yr bare hands!) I had the big ocean wrap(10″ for $ 7.80) with spinach tortilla. Fish tikka! Substantial amount of fish so that was good. But I felt a bit cheated, I thought it was supposed to come with mint yogurt sauce and there certainly didn’t seem to be a trace of it! Certainly could’ve done with some sauce of some sort, the wrap was kind of plain/bland despite the fish tikka. It tasted healthy though, with an abundance of fresh veg. And corn sprinkled here n there added some sweetness to the meal, which helped, but wasn’t enough.

Not a bad place! I’m not sure if this is my favorite wrap place in Singapore though. I do enjoy their Big Ocean(think Fish Tika!) and Fish And Wrap(tuna + mayo, never a bad combo!). I also tried their YuSheng wrap(smoked salmon), but it was pretty blah and not worth it for $ 12++. I generally get the 10 inch wrap, which I think is enough to satisfy my hunger. It’s enough for Manfriend as well, me thinks, bc he never complains about being hungry after finishing his wrap. I also like how can pick our wraps: special brunt, lemon grass, tomato basil, wheat, plain or naan. They also providing a special wrapping, which makes it very convenient to consume the wrap without making a mess or touching the actual wrap for all you dirty, non-hand washers out there! Prices varies depending on the wrap, but still about $ 1 – 2 cheaper than Salad Stop! I still prefer Salad and Wraps at Icon for their Caesar Salad wrap, which cost $ 8 – about the same prices for a wrap here.
