Well it’s a common lounge shared by multiple airlines(we were with eva) so it’s not as good. Still ok tho… ok food, very nice shower stalls, standard seating. Next time will try out the other star alliance partner lounges.

Away from the hubbub, as much food and booze as you can eat, it’s well worth getting into this lounge if you aren’t getting into the higher class ones. Only here for an hour but compared to some of the other mid-range lounges, this was a cut above.

No United Club at Changi, so I followed on line advise to the Kris Gold lounge, which was the only other lounge I seemed to qualify for. Got there around 5:00 am to find where a pretty decent spread of food would be, only to discover there was NO food! Sat down to have a cup of coffee when I realized the the ticket agent had given me a pass to the SATS lounge just next door. I have yet to figure out who actually operates this lounge, but I ducked in, had no trouble getting admitted, and found an excellent spread of hot food and a nice beverage selection. Not as flashy as the ANA lounges at NRT, but definitely an upgrade from KRIS Gold — and certainly better than any domestic United Club. I will stop there first next time around.

One of the nicer lounges I’ve been in. Diverse food selection included chicken curry, eggs Benedict, an array of cereals, potatoes and miso soup. They offer a nice vegetarian hot meal that was quite tasty. Decent selection of alcoholic beverages including whisky and vodka. 3 kinds of canned beer along with bottled or iced water. Has fast internet and computers if you don’t have a device. Bathroom was super clean and even had showers. Staff was friendly and kept the place clean. They offer electronic massage chairs with a nice ambiance. Seating throughout is comfortable.

In the short time that I was able to check out this lounge, I can tell you it’s slightly better than the Singapore Airlines Gold Lounge in that it has more TVs, actual screens that show you the status of flights heading out, and a bathroom inside. I’ve been to the SQ lounge a few times and I’m pretty sure there isn’t a bathroom. The food offerings were decent for breakfast, though it was more of a western spread than Asian. They had some shumai and pork buns, a few Indian inspired dishes, and then your typical breads, cereals, and juices. This lounge caters to some interesting airlines, VietJet Air and Mongolian Air to name a few. Other than that, it’s pretty straightforward and you’re not missing too much.
