Pasta tastes like from a can. Burgers are hard and over cooked. Won’t go back again. Pleasant service from Filipino ladies but rude Chinese servers.

I ordered Wagyu beef burger during my visit since the waitress claimed that it’s their signature burger. Wagyu beef burger is a 180g Grade 7 hand formed wagyu beef patty topped with sliced gherkins, mescluns, tomato, cheddar cheese & veal jus mushroom(S$ 21). My burger came with a side of fries. My hubby on the other hand ordered salmon & prawns on a sizzling lava plate — which is fresh salmon fillet with fresh garlic marinated tiger prawns(S$ 24) and it came with a side of loaded potato and salad. Knowing that this place is named«RV Burger» def you gotta try their burger. I have no idea what makes my hubby wanted to order anything but burger that time. but regardless, their salmon & prawns hotplate dish was very lacking. Honestly what gave it flavor was the garlic butter sauce that was loaded in MSG… the salmon and the prawn weren’t bad but I wouldn’t say that they were of good quality/fresh as they tasted a bit fishy. My wagyu beef burger on the other side was a much better choice. The fries were also nice and crispy, and were seasoned with a bit of salt(not MSG thank God), however I’d say that The Assembly Ground def killed RV Burger in terms of their wagyu beef. The wagyu beef patty in RV isn’t as flavorful. It was just flat. However paying for more than 20 bucks for a burger. def I’m expecting more than what they offer. Portion wise both dishes were quite huge. If you are a kind of person who likes meat so much and have insatiable appetite for burger, you def should try their crazy tower burger. It comes with 3 huge chucks of meat… Just looking at it on the menu has made me full… All in all this place is a good place to chill with friends if you live around River Valley area. They have limited selections of alcohol, but I love how they have ample space for outdoor seating. Anyways I spot 3 interesting burger options in the menu that I would love to try on my next visits: (1) The mexican(marinated 180g beef patty topped with chilli con carne, tomato salsa, jalapeño, cheddar, mesclun & tomato & fries on the side(S$ 16) (2) Tandoori chicken(tandoori chicken topped with red onion, mesclun and tomato mango salsa and fries on the side(S$ 15), and (3) Indulgence(crispy bacon, banana, tempura, topped with peanut butter(S$ 15) — NO fries on the side They do also have an interesting dessert — Irish Bailey ice cream — vanilla ice cream served with chocolate fudge, dark & white chocolate chip topped with a shot of Bailey S$ 10. Def something you could imitate when having guest coming over to your house next time: p Coming on a Sunday afternoon(11 am) and there was no crowd at all.
