Cheap and good kopitiam which offers a whole range of local cuisines. Fragrant braised chicken rice is very good but expensive if you want to buy the whole chicken. Rong kee stall at the end is my favourite for wonton noodles as they’re old school and still use lard oil to flavour the dry noodles. The porridge stall serves fluffy Cantonese style chok. The sliced fish is good as well as the pork porridge. But I miss the raw fish platter they used to serve. And the boiled fish skin. They were both drenched in a savoury soya sesame sauce with spring onions and chilli padi. Shiok. At night the three shops are all taken over by zichar shops.
